Steven helped me purchase an office chair today. His knowledge and ability to assess my needs quickly helped me to get the perfect chair. He also found additional savings, gave perfect instructions for assembling the chair, and helped me load the chair in my car. I sat and waited while the staff helped my sister this eve. They went above and beyond to help her get the papers printed she needed printed. Even got her a charger to keep her phone from dying.. I was very impressed and think these younger workers did a great job helping us older folks! Kudos to them!

Good store, I shop here often. I have called into the store to check availability of products and usually get served right away, but sometimes they get busy which is no reason to ding them.They have a pretty good selection and if they dont have something they offer to order it for me for pick up in the store in a short amount of time.The people in the store are always ready and happy to help.Looks to me like only the complainers have responded to this review process so far so here I am to give them a deserved attaboy.
There was absolutely no one to help me locate the item I needed. I ended up walking through the entire store to find one item. Even though aisles are marked as to what is in them, they are not clearly marked
I shopped at this store on 6-9-19 @ 10:21. I made my purchase of 1 item. The cashier put the item in a bag. I took the item out of the bag and said I dont need a bag thanks. When I was walking out the cashier waded the bag up and put it in the recycling box. I asked her are you not going to use the bag for someone else? What is it dirty now? She said I have plenty of bags and always recycle bags that are not used. COME ON STAPLES !!!! What the hell is wrong with you guys? Why dont you care about the earths environment?
They did a great job of our printing, but changed it from normal to high-quality paper (with the matching price increase) without asking us, and charged FAR more than the website quoted the price as being. Impressed with the quality, no question, but disgusted at the price.

I would shop here, but Im not sure if I would get helped. I went into the Staples location in Mason City, Iowa and was walking around the store to see if anything caught my eye to purchase. Im a Staples regular, I have spent thousands of dollars at this location, and am considered one of the best customers by a few of the employees in this store. While I was walking around the store one day, I overheard the store manager, Shelly tell a Staples associate to not help me when I was in the store. I was appalled I heard such things. Ever since, I have tried to avoid this store at all costs.
My parents bought a Dell laptop from this store. It was less than 2 years old. The keyboard stopped working and NO ONE in the store was able to help them trouble shoot this issue. But they did sell them a usb keyboard...that was their fix. All it would have taken was a quick Google search to see a recent windows 10 update may have been the problem which required uninstalling and reinstalling a keyboard driver. I am appalled and disappointed this store took advantage of my parents and offered them not one wit of help!
Good..easy access everything arranged differently than last time I was there...clerk helpful at checkout. And I was using rewards money too.
Id avoid this store if at all possible. I had computer screen with an LCD leak or crack that was created by the mere act of opening the notebook. I purchased the protection plan but the manager was absolutely no help. He was a 20 something kid who had no business being in his position. He accused me of lying about it and breaking the computer. He did nothing to make the situation right, which was compounded by a similar issue with the same computer a few months before, yet I gave Staples the benefit of the doubt and purchased the same laptop because I needed one. He basically said that he couldnt help me and that whatever the old manager promised me was not going to be honored.I came to the store w/the receipts and copy of warranty I paid for to my notebook fixed and to purchase an two office chairs and two file cabinets. We also buy all of our paper from Staples. (Insurance office) Well, theyve lost our business and Id rather make the trip to Minneapolis (Im there often) or to Sams Club/Costco for my office equipment and supplies needs. I already lined up another supplier for AA paper. I actually went and paid $500 for a decent chairs at a nearby furniture store rather than deal with these clowns. Staples is a retail store, not a store thats run or populated by real sales people who can cater to an actual business crowd. The people working at the Mason City store are qualified to work at ToysRUs or GameStop, not a place frequented by people with real business needs, who expect to be taken care of. With such poor customer service skills and sloppy dress (wrinkled khakis and white shirts with stains) how can one expect good service or to take them seriously again?
Dyllan in Mason City Iowa Staples was an amazing help for my hesitant purchase as a confused electronic consumer. Dyllan pointed out what I need to look for in the type of purchase I was making and took my daughter and myself around to all the products and explained them in great detail so we both felt comfortable with our purchase! Dyllan took the time needed to apply the “Liquid Armor” we purchased to two iPads purchased previously and even used the excess on my iwatch even though it postponed his drawer counting! As he was applying this protection his personality shined as he spoke of his exciting life and calmed my daughter’s anxiety about her upcoming school year as he spoke of how many hours he spent in school but lack of stress homework gave him! We will be back tomorrow to buy covers and other accessories and when I’m ready to buy an elaborate camera I will find Dyllan to help! I sold cars so I know how hard sales can be! Dyllan never complained and was very eager and never rushed this wishy-washy customer(myself)! I will be back for all my electronics & specialty needs! Huge thank you to Dyllan for all his help. You are appreciated and deserve a raise!! Thank you Dyllan! I give 10 stars out of 5!! 50 thumbs up!
