Brought my car in for an alignment and they told me that I needed new tie rods and all 4 struts. Paid in full for 1.4k. I got the car back and all 6 dash lights were on so I brought my car to my mechanic and he checked it out thoroughly and he told me that I needed a new ABS sensor and they forgot to put in a tie rod pin to keep the bolt stable so it doesn’t fall off. I could have been killed and I’m surprised I made it home. I called Mavis and they said “bring it in I’ll have to look at it but you won’t have the car back until tomorrow”. Not to mention, my mechanic also said that while replacing the struts, the spindle was hanging on my abs sensor wire and they put the wrong bolt on my brand new strut as well. They told me that I had to buy a new one. I’m not buying something that they broke! The price I can somewhat understand but the least they could do is have some sympathy and get it done the right away considering the situation. Never going to a Mavis ever again unless it’s strictly for brand new tires. I was also laughed at when I left after 6 lights were on. Caught the mechanic laughing with the manager in the garage.

Courteous, professional. Young man behind counter was great and very knowledgeable. It was busy so I waited there. They had a TV, clean and comfortable seating area and bathrooms were clean too! Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Jay went above and beyond in taking care of my BMW 328xi! He replaced lower control arm, struts, and did my wheel alignments. He was extremely knowledgeable, appreciated that despite my car is 10 years old, he treated it like it was new. Runs better now that it has been for the past few months. Had a wonderful experience here at Mavis! Went in with a flat (and my other tires were pretty worn as well). They found a nail in my tire and they replaced my 2 front tires in under an hour! Jay greeted me when I walked in with a big smile on his face. Very refreshing! I had no idea what I was in for. All I knew was I had an hour before I had to be back at work and a screw was in my tire and air was low. I could see it was a really busy day for them and Jay told me Ill try and squeeze you in, have a seat and we will take a quick look, may just need to be plugged. Well in less than 20 minutes the job was done! Much faster than I imagined. I have been at this location quite some time ago and basically left very happy. I went into this location on Wednesday at 5:20 pm and spoke to Raj about my tire rotation.. I was sent to the Massapequa location because Bellmore told me they couldn’t help nor Wantagh .. he claimed he called Massapequa and they said I can go there. Long story short Raj was nice enough to take me in and not only do my rotation but changed my oil & flushed out my power steering & brakes. This is the service I remember when I was younger and I would go with my Dad to the shop. Raj is #1 and would recommend this location hands done. Nice job guys … and I was out by 6pm 👍

A very nice lady named Liz pretty much held my hand through the whole process, from telling me which tires would work...going in the back and finding an example of a tire she thought would be good for me,( she rolled it out to me herself) ordering the tires for me...then during a week of snow kept me abreast of what time and day would be convenient for me...unfortunately the day that I did come ( 2/22/21), a number of employees had called in sick...this is COVID time, leaving one person at the counter and one man working in the back on ALL of the work for the day....that did cause a delay in pick up time...that being said no one lost his ( or her) level of courtesy and concern that i was going to be satisfied...buying tires is kind of a pain... a lot of information and different applications....If you live in the Massapequa area, this is probably one of the best places to get tires ...especially if you dont have time to go shopping.....despite being so shorthanded, they got the job done...the price was reasonable and they are nearby if I need them...thank you to the 2 guys that day...and thank you Liz for the personalized help

Raj ordered my tire after I showed up with a screw in the sidewall . Originally I was disappointed when my couple hour wait turned into the tire is coming tomorrow. Tires only. Dont have them do anything else to your car. Horrible experience having them do brakes. They charged for new rotors with 27,000 miles on car. After that they messed up some part on the engine. Will never ever go back.

Liz was amazingly helpful when I got a flat tire and went to Mavis to have it replaced. They didn’t have it in stock, but she made numerous phone calls trying to find one at a different store. Even though it was later in the day, she said if they could find the tire somewhere they would stay open until it arrived. Unfortunately, none of the Mavis stores had it in stock so it would have to be the next day before they could obtain one. Liz and the staff of people at this branch were so polite, and helpful it made a difficult situation better.

Have been coming to Raj for many years. Provides excellent customer service and all work completed by his mechanics w/o issues.

Came here for an inspection and oil change. Was told this would take an hour and a half, 2 tops. Longer than I wanted but fine. They dont touch my car for 1.5 hours and then tell me I need break pads. Fine. Then I find out they forgot the oil change and have to remind them. Ive been here for more than 3 hours now. I have never had an inspection take this long, even one where I needed work done. Never coming back.

Mavis Tires called me to let me know that the tires I ordered came in. I asked the employee if he could check how old are the tires I ordered. They went and check and said it was made April of this year. I made the appointment for installation the same day. It was only after they installed the tires that I noticed they lied about the age of the tires. It was made on the 48th week of November 2020.In addition, the area underneath the tire valve was scratched. They recommended the tire valve replacement for all tire replacements and they ended up scratching the area for two of the wheels.

The guys here are super helpful & honest. I always come to them when I get a flat tire & I’ve never had any issues with the replacement tires they put on.

This is the second time that this Mavis in Massapequa Park has gone above and beyond and been impeccable with their word. Today it was Jay (Jashawn). I spoke with him on the phone and revealed I had had a problem with a different Mavis and prefer to not return to them for a comped oil synthetic oil change and to have the tires rotated that I had bought at the other store. I need to be very careful about covid protocols. Jay said he could get me in promptly and would do the oil change and rotate the tires while I waited safely. He did exactly that and I could see that they put barriers down on my seats and used a mask when in my car. Everyone was very respectful of me and my property and my time. I think this is the first Google review I have ever done. This business deserves it for sure.
