The lady who did my return was terrific along with her manager

Really nice staff my gf gets her hair done there and they were taking to me and keeping me in the loop instead of ignoring me like other barbers have. Super clean store as well

First time at this location and I loooove it!! A+ customer service in terms of engaging with you, asking if you need assistance without overdoing it...just pure perfection. Did I mention well-stocked?? Im a Brooklyn resident and wouldnt mind making frequent trips to this Ulta in particular.

The associates are a mixed bag. Some are very helpful while some would rather not be bothered. Sometimes I get helpful skin tips and am offered samples while other times I am followed around the store while I watch middle school children steal things out of the bins in front of the cash register. The hair salon is a mixed bag as well. Rosie did my hair extremely well. Meanwhile Jacquie did my daughters hair, which I asked to be “blown out” then she preceded to do a half French braid and curls without using any flat iron on it. Of course my daughters hair was frizzy before she even got out of the chair. Not only that, there is photo area that they use to take pictures of some of the hair styles afterwards. My daughter asked me if she was gonna get her picture taken afterward. She was so excited. Jacquie quickly said “no, we don’t take pictures of everyone.” Probably because she could see she was doing such a poor job with my daughters hair. I would never trust anyone with mine or my daughters hair here ever unless it’s Rosie. She’s the best. A true professional.

Love Ulta has so much to buy. I wouldve given a 5 if it wasnt for the fact that the security guard followed my kids the entire time like they were going to steal something.

Friendly staff but sometimes come on too strong, great selection of products though!

The reason why I give them a 1 star is because I wanted a hair color and it never came out the color that i wanted i spoke to the manager told her about the situation and they made me feel like they didnt care about my situation some of my hair fell off and when I did the appointment it was $140 to $160 and they charged me $340 my hair was damaged and never had the color I wanted and I feel like they should have credited me I will never got there again and I will never recommend anyone to go there they were so rude and unprofessional with me and I had to cancel mothers day because I lost some of my hair and it was damaged thank you ultra for ruining my hair and my mothers day party thank you alot ultra and I was a good customer for the past 10 years

I like the store, some nice employees. Store really needs to improve upon its return policy as you seem to be told one thing at point of purchase and are given significant pushback at point of return.Called ahead to see if the return of my said products were possible without receipt. Was greeted by the store manager named Jessica who was extremely rude and disrespectful (and who didnt smile once.) She literally checked my products like she was looking at a diamond for inclusions. Refused to return one even though I was told it could be returned on the phone without receipt by a VERY nice and capable employee named Nicole.Despite being talked down to rudely, I stayed polite to the store manager Jessica and explained I am a frequent customer and Id appreciate it if she could make an exception. She continues to scowl and tell me that the products are too used and need to be 75 percent full, even though I was told 50 percent.I thanked her and I am definitely going to call customer service because despite me being nice when I didnt have to be, Jessica followed me around the store acting like she was scanning products (but horribly obvious she was following me) She was watching me like I was some degenerate for asking her to do the right thing. She made me very uncomfortable and I will try not to return to this store.Highly dissapointed with my experience here!Update 1: I do appreciate the owner reaching out to me but it ultimately feels like lip service. The manager that treated me like that isnt the type to change. Ive reached out to customer service, because this whole thing is just unacceptable. I will be posting more updates as I go so all Ulta customers who come to this store are properly informed.Update 2: got a call back from the district manager named Jesse. Jesse said she would speak to the rude manager Jessica. So Jesse is just as rude and condescending to me as the manager Jessica! (different girl definitely by the way). She kept interupting me and not fully listening to what I said. Made me feel like she thought I was making things up. Very rude lady. So I call customer service AGAIN to go even higher! Wow, Ive never dealt with such rude and unfriendly management!Update 3: never got another call back from upper management to apologise for the poor behavior of the manager AND district manager. Im not a negative person, but after my poor experience its safe to say this place is horribly managed.

Very good parking. Jacquie gave me a beautiful haircut today & also a very prettymake-up application. She is very sweet, kind & a good listener. I also have had Extremely positive experiences with Rosie, Nicole & Julia. They are All very talented & very kind....

I agree with Stephanie. I felt very unwelcomed at this store. I was looking for a concealer for my face and I have very little experience with makeup. One of the ladies I spoke to helped me pick out a Benefit concealer, but it was $12, and I wanted something cheaper. She had a brows appointment with another customer, so I searched the store for someone who could help me. It seemed like this store was really busy with a long checkout line. But there were other ladies without name tags, but they helped other customers pick out things. When I looked someone in the eye and asked for help while facing her, she walked away like she didnt hear me and made me feel really uncomfortable. There were some ladies over at the hair department that were helping people, but they said they werent comfortable with helping me pick out a skin product. I ended picking out a Elf concealer and trying to color match the concealer to my face.I later on visited another Ulta in Bay Shore that was so different. People greeted me at the door and asked if I needed help, and helped me get what I needed. Dont go to this location. Go to 1701 Sunrise Hwy, Bay Shore, NY 11706. They are so much more helpful and friendly.

Inventory shortages, pandemic related

I choose Ulta over Sephora, and Massapequa Ulta above others, because of their exceptional customer service. I’ve become a frequent shopper and my experience is always enhanced by the associates. Coley, in particular, stands out. She’s knowledgeable and quick to point me in the right direction for makeup, hair and any of my other beauty needs. She exudes dedication and passion for her job, and it’s always a fun time shopping at Ulta when Coley is there to assist!

Horrible experience! I walk into the Ulta store not welcoming one bit. I go to the counter to get my online order, the lady asked for my name and ID. Did not check to make sure my order was correct. I take my bag, i walk outside and open the bag and only see 3 items (i ordered 6 items) I then immediately not even one minute passed by when i walked back into the store. I lay the 3 items on the counter and say I’m missing items. That’s when the rude manager said i have to check the cameras like i went to ulta to steal makeup. Ridiculous. Took like 5 minutes for them to get back to me and give me my item I initially ordered and paid for.

Staff is extremely helpful, not snobby and judgemental as some.other cosmetic retailers. It is a pleasure to shop here.

Whats not to love about Ulta. Everything you need under one roof. The staff here is so helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Maggie took the time to help me and she was very knowledgeable about all the products.

Followed by security when I entered the store with my daughter. So rude and I am sure it had to do with my skin color. Found the product on amazon for $30 cheaper anyway. Please keep your dogs in the kennel when people of color come into your store if you do not want people to think you are racist.

I went here over the weekend and I found the girls working to be really nice and friendly. This Ulta was pretty low key for the weekend too! Wasnt over crowded and didnt even have to wait in line to check out. I really enjoyed my calm shopping experience here which is far and few between on LI.

I walked into this location and a lovely woman (who I think was also one of the managers) really took her time to explain the different products to me and help a novice like myself find exactly what I needed. The products have helped my skin to look amazing, and the makeup recommendations were spot on. I had an embarrassing situation at the register- couldn’t get approved for the card (just started leasing a car), then my other credit card didn’t work (because of fraud protection). It was just one thing after another and instead of making me feel embarrassed or like I was holding them up, they did everything they could to help me. I felt like an idiot but they were so kind to me. This is a great location with friendly people who really know their stuff!

I gave this store 3 stars based on one isolated incident... I ran into this store to buy one thing, that they don’t normally carry at the Levittown location which is much closer to me. I wasn’t in the store 2 minutes, I located the item I needed, picked it up off the bottom shelf and by the time I stood back up, there was a girl asking if I needed help, in my face. I decided to look at something, however by the time I went to the next aisle, the same employee was in my face, asking if I needed help again, after I had told her no once. This only bugged me!! However, as I was paying for my single item, the cashier started out being nice, until after I finished paying. The option for having the receipt printed, emailed or both popped up on the screen. Before I could even move my hand to press both, bc I prefer to have my receipts emailed when I use my card, this cashier puts her hand in front of me, and declines the question for me, without saying a word to me. Mind you, there was no line behind, so no need to rush. All I can say is that she was RUDE!!! And it was OBNOXIOUS and DISRESPECTFUL to me as the customer!!! Next time I will consider ordering online before taking an almost hour trip to get this one regular item I use that isn’t sold at closer locations.

Best place for all women to get quality beauty products & they offer hair cuts, hair coloring & specialized hair services done by professional hair dressers @ affordable prices that wont break the bank. This store was my wifes favorite place for 15 years+ and has become more popular now then ever before. Its the best womens secret from a mans point of view because every time my wife comes back from Ulta shes smiling ear to ear.Thats very difficult to say because my wife is very picky about her hair & feminine products .Great Job Ulta Beauty

Store was a mess. No pricing clear on gift box sets or shampoos and sprays. I wouldve bought more if it was clearer and I didnt have to ask your many reps on the floor how much 10x. Coupons not excepted for my items. Black Friday weekend seems better online. Stay home.

Was so surprised by this location - was looking for some hair care products and then browsed the make up section. Almost every employee I saw was talking with/helping a customer and even the girl who was stocking gave me some recommendations. Cant comment on the salon but ultas are usually disasters and this one seemed pretty orderly.

Customer service was excellent, the wait in line wasnt too long. When they see you wandering they and make sure youre getting what you want. My first time and definitely wont be my last.

I honestly CANNOT stand this store and their employees. The location in Levittown is much better. Regardless, they don’t give out samples even if you spend a couple hundred dollars!!!! Whereas at Sephora they give out samples left and right. It really bothers me

If I could give zero stars, I would. I went in here with my mother and we immediately were followed around by security. I am 9 months pregnant and my mother did not even have her purse with her. We were looking at magnifying mirrors (a large boxed item), so I have no idea what this security girl thought we were going to try and steal, but it was obvious that she was following us around the store and made us very uncomfortable. I can only assume it was because my mother has darker skin that we were treated like sketchy thieves but needless to say, Ill never go back here again.

There is a floor manager called Alishia that is the most rudest person ever. She will chant rude things out loud about customers and is rude to the staff. If you try to return something she will give you dirty looks and tell you that you are only allowed 5 returns which is completely false! Where was she raised from? She obviously has some mental illness!
