I visited Helen of Troy because I needed a strapless for my sons wedding. The girls in the shop were very helpful and I ended up ordering a corset which was very supportive and fit amazingly. The corset took a little over a week to get in the mail. It held the girls up and did not buckle when I sat down. I loved it.
I visited the store in Massapequa because I was having a hard time finding bras that fit me properly. I was sized by Brie, who was very helpful and not all pushy. She was able to quickly find me several nice options that fit amazingly. The bras did have to be ordered, which I did not mind because I have never found something that actually fit me right before. I found the prices to be reasonable with most of the options being around $60 or so. The bras arrived in the mail a few weeks later and it was SOOO worth the wait. I feel so comfortable and more secure about myself, not to mention the bras are actually pretty! I look forward to shopping again in the future and I will definitely be telling everyone I know.

I absolutely loved this place! The bras were so comfortable and worth the money. The service was amazing too. Usually I feel very uncomfortable but that wasnt the case. Definitely recommend especially if you dont know your exact size! Love it! Love it!

Could not say enough about Helen of Troy. I have always struggled to find good bras that fit well and last. After having my daughter I was in need of new bras. After reading the reviews of Helens I decided to give them a shot. I am so glad I did! Their service is so personal and caring. I was finally able to find nice bras that fit me so well. Thanks to their fitting experts and great selection I bought a couple bras to start off. i found myself heading back when I was looking for a strapless bra for my bridesmaid dress for one of my friends wedding. Once again I was very pleased with Helens. If you have ever struggled to find good fitting bras, especially for larger chests, you need to give Helens a try. I went here so nervous because no place ever has my cup size and Bonnie was so nice to me ! Both of the women were awesome! Bonnie found me the right size, and a comfortable bra on the first try! I visited Helen of Troy Bras after a co-worker referred me. I am so glad she did! The personalized service made me feel special and the bras are beautiful and comfortable. I feel like a new woman. My bras did have to be ordered for me, but I like the idea of having something fresh and new and just for me. It added to the experience imo. The shipping was pretty fast and I am in love with the bras.
I discovered Helen of Troy about 2 years ago when I needed to find a place on Long Island to get good bras for my G cup sized ladies. The store is neat and the products are beautifully displayed. While the presentation is excellent, the service here that is the star. Every single associate at the store is knowledgeable and friendly. The store owner, Jessica, is wonderful and does her best to remember all of her customers names. They know all about the bras and support wear there and can find you exactly what you need, even if it is not the style you were looking for. I have yet to walk out of the store disappointed. If you have larger sized ladies and need a good bra and live on Long Island, run over to Helen of Troy. You will not be disappointed!
Most professional, helpful, and enjoyable bra fitting I have ever had. The staff and store are wonderful. Briana assisted me and was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and made me feel very comfortable. She worked within my budget and found the perfect bra for me and so lovely, too. It remains my favorite bra, I look 10 lbs lighter, have a more youthful figure, and no back or shoulder pain! Thank you for making me feel beautiful! ! Would recommend every women have at least one perfectly fitted, exceptional bra - you will feel the difference! Then you will want to replace all your bras, lol! I have been shopping at Helen of Troy Bras in Massapequa for years. They always have the best selection and the employees are always knowledgeable and professional. On my last visit I worked with Rosie who was great. If you are looking for the perfect fit definitely go to Helen of Troy Bras. The girls there are always honest and they are not pushy.
My initial visit to Helen of Troys was worth going back. The sales associate was very friendly, helpful and patient.However, after I went back and made my purchase I was mislead in so many different ways. At the time of purchase I was advised that I would receive my bras in a week. I purchased these items on April 11 to be exact and I never received my items until a month later. One was received 4 weeks later and the other 5.5 weeks later. I became very annoyed because I called several times to check the delivery of the items and each time I called I was told oh your bras will be there by the end of the week, this went on for over 2 weeks. I understand that delays/mishaps occur but it would have been better to just tell me the truth instead of misleading me.Overall I think their communication is awful once youve made a purchase.I feel even up to this day that the store manager should have placed a call out to me to offer an apology.My review is solely on their customer service, as far as the bras they are a bit pricey but I feel it was well worth it once I put it on and the lift and support it gave me.
Helen of Troy of Massapequa has provided the worst retail experience I ever had. I will never shop there or recommend anyone to that store. I went in October to purchase items for an important formal event. I left with one (not the color I wanted, but it was all they had in stock) I ordered 2 more and after many inquiries, phone calls, emails I still never received my items. I received one apologetic phone message that was obviously all lies because I never received my items. By January 6 I cancelled the order entirely. It is now February 18- I still have not received my credit back. I was just told on the phone it was done. Really???? I do not have my items or my money and my last 3 emails went unanswered. This company is HORRIBLE. I ordered the exact items from Macy’s during Christmas week and again over New Years. I received the exact product in 2 business days. Thank you Macy’s. Thank you Helen of Troy for absolutely NOTHING. I want my money back NOW!!!
I had a wonderful experience here at Helen of Troy while I was there . I purchased 3 bras that I love...however the wonderful experience ends here!!! I ordered two more bras that were NOT in stock and was told I would have them in two weeks. It’s been 3 months and I’m still waiting. I called them back and left a message and did receive a call back with a promise of receipt within two weeks. Well, it’s been another month.... no bras. I have been more than patient and I am waiting two more weeks to see if it resolves and if it doesn’t I’m taking it to the next level to expose the truth of what I once thought was a reputable business . This place was such a scam. I would never buy anything from here again. It’s been over 3 months and I had to fight just to get one of my two bras purchased shipped out. Still haven’t gotten the second one. There’s no management or accountability. No one calls you back or has an answer for anything. Such a joke.
I absolutely LOVE Helen of Troy!! Ever since I bought my first bra there, I cant buy bras anywhere else. Every employee that Ive met has been such a great help, and always made me feel comfortable and welcome. The store also has a great atmosphere! I recommend Helen of Troy to ANYONE who wants a better experience bra shopping.
If I could give this business 0 stars I WOULD!!! I visited this establishment on December 7, 2017 and ordered 4 bras after having a nice experience in the store. This totaled over $200 and my card was charged the day of. It is now March 14, 2018 and i have yet to receive my order. I have been trying to contact the store for months and keep getting a run around. First in January i was told they were backed up due to the holidays, okay still a month of waiting but understandable. Called again in February on a Monday and I was told i should have a tracking number by Thursday (never got a phone call). I was appalled that the items still have not shipped. Have been trying to contact them the past two weeks and have not had any luck speaking with a representative. It has been 14 weeks, but they were able to charge my card the same day for the purchase. I find this business to be extremely shady and will be contacting the BBB due to their poor performance with helping customers. Massapequa needs to get rid of this scam!!! Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!
I first went to the store 3 years ago and loved it. I went back about a month ago and bought 2 bras. They were super nice and helpful in the store. I got re measured and was able to take one home and had to order the second. When I wore the bra I took home it didnt fit right. I checked the size and it was 2 cup sizes bigger and 1 band size lower. I went in to exchange it and correct the size on the bra on order and the girl blamed me saying thats the size I tried on. I again tried on my measured size bra and it fit perfectly. Of course they didnt have that size on hand. I was told it would take 2 weeks. I called 2 weeks later and they said it would take 3 weeks but they would call me back with a definite date. No call and another week later. I called back and it still wasnt there. They told me they tracked it and it was gonna be there today. Shockingly it wasnt delivered and Im still waiting. I would never shop here again and would advise others not to either.
I used to love shopping here and even referred people (which I wish I hadnt). My first terrible experience was from a purchase I made in September 2017... I received one of the three items that the sales associate ordered almost a week later which was great, but as for the other two items... I received one almost 10 months later and then the third item still hadnt arrived. They made good on the third item, but the sales associate made a comment that theyve been calling me which they NEVER did. The same associate ended up talking me into buying a bikini top and have it shipped to my home. She stated several times it wouldnt be the same issue as my last order and that it would be shipped to me in 2 weeks... I placed that order on JULY 13th and I still havent received my item. Ive also left several messages about this order, about a month ago I was told it is on its way and she confirmed it was going to my home. Dont shop in this store. They make terrible business decisions and continue to place orders for customers KNOWING that there will almost definitely be a problem.
I purchase lingerie for my wife here because she is a special size. They keep her size on file so it is easy to surprise her with new things. The stuff here is always classy and fits her nice.
I could write pages about how much I love Helen Of Troy Bras ... and I will! So if you just want a summary up front, here it is: I had a great experience at Helen Of Troy Bras. I purchased two great fitting bras (in hard to find sizes!) for less than $70. The staff was helpful, friendly, and very professional. I am certainly a happy customer :)And for the long version: I was constantly unhappy with my bras and totally confused by bra sizes. I knew for sure that I was wearing the wrong size but I didnt know which was right. I saw that the Curvy Kate brand carried a wide range of sizes so I wanted to try some of their bras but I was reluctant to order them online without trying on. Thankfully Curvy Kate provided a link for local retailers and I was shocked to find a store so close to my home, so I rushed to the mall to check out Helen of Troy.The ladies at Helen Of Troy at Sunrise Mall in Massapequa were helpful and accommodating before I even set foot in the store -- I called to check their hours and find the exact location in the mall and they provided precise information. Once I got to the store, Jessica and Forever fitted me (at my request) and brought me several bras in different brands and styles. I was impressed because they really knew all the details about their bras in terms of sizes, shapes, materials, available colors, and they also let me know which bras were customers favorites. Although I initially came in looking for a Curvy Kate bra, I ended up liking some styles from Parfait. The Curvy Kate bras were very pretty but I thought that the Parfait styles were more practical.Aside from the variety of beautiful bras in hard to find sizes, I really appreciated that Jessica and Forever brought me bras that matched my requests without forcing me to purchase something that I didnt like, unlike many of my experiences at other lingerie retailers. Another bonus -- during checkout, Jessica informed me of a current promotion and gave me a 20% discount for participating. I will definitely be shopping there again!
The costumer support was wonderful. I ordered nursing bras and they took a long time to come in. I was scheduled for a c section and someone drove them over to my house so I would have them when I delivered. thanx so much !
Dont order anything from this place. If you do receive it--and theres a good chance you wont--it will take an unacceptably long time. It’s close to 2 months since I placed my order. Despite multiple phone calls and emails, I still haven’t received it. and I had to file a dispute with my bank. And its a pity, because they do a really great fitting.
Do not shop here!!! I bought bras here a year ago and after they told me they do not keep stock in the store and they order the bras and have them delivered to you. 2 months later no bras and after them telling me multiple times they were on the way, they finally credited me.Then months later I started receiving emails from them, they were sorry, they have a new system and wanted my business back.9 weeks ago I went back to give them another try. I ordered two bras. I was told 2-3 weeks they would be in, which should have been a red flag for me. 9 weeks later no bras. I went there two weeks ago on a Friday and was told the bras would be in on Monday and I would be emailed either way on Monday with an update, I never received an email.Now I have to go back again and demand my money back. My friend had the same issue and was there today, they told her the store policy is store credit only, but was able to leave with actual bras after putting up a fight.I would not buy from them unless you can walk out the door with actual bras, but I dont think they deserve your hard earned money.Very very shady
I shopped in this cute little boutique about a month ago. The staff was very friendly and I have never found bras that fit so perfectly before. I am a bigger size and its always been a struggle to find bras that actually fit. All around an awesome experience. I bought two bras in store and ordered a third one to be delivered to my house. It took about 2 weeks and was definitely worth the wait. Strongly recommend.
I wish I could give zero stars. I was in store looking for a strapless bra, they had it in black but not nude. The store ordered it along with clear straps and charged me for the bra. A month later I needed the bra for a wedding, I attempted to call. No answer, made several more attempts to call with no answer and eventually my call was forwarded straight to voicemail. I then drove out to the store to find out the status of the bra. I was told Tuesday they would be receiving it, I needed it Thursday. They said they would call Tuesday . Tuesday came with no phone call, I attempted to call... this time someone answered ! The person on the phone states she is not in the store and will call to find out the status of my order then she will call me back..... I never received the call back. I then drove out to the store again and was told there was no delivery..... I asked for a refund since I will not be receiving the item I purchased. The girl in the store said she can only offer store credit. Since I have no tangible item to return I insist that I be refunded, and the money go back onto my credit card. She states she would have the manager Jessica call me to handle this issue, two weeks later I have still not yet received a call from jessica . No refund, no product . Terrible business and even worse costumer service. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS HASSLE!Update:I filed a complaint with the better business bureau online.Its easy to do and I suggest each victim of this business do the same.
Placed an order for my wife in October of 2017. Still no products delivered and no contact is able to be made with store. I call them and get no response! Can’t even dispute my payment for gift certificate tha I purchased for her because transaction is too old! Stay away from this store
UNBELIEVABLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY! I placed an online order on DECEMBER 8, 2017, never got a confirmation email or anything. Finally reached out to them a few days before Christmas because it was a Christmas gift. They responded and said it was coming from the UK and would be about another week. While upset, I said okay and remained patient. 2 WEEKS LATER still no tracking number or ANYTHING! I tried calling and got nothing but their answering machine every single time I called. I left messages, they never returned my call. I finally emailed them again on January 8 (ONE MONTH AFTER MY ORDER) and explained what was going on. They apologized and offered me a discount. I told them I wasnt interested in a discount and I just wanted my order cancelled and my money back. They finally responded on January 10 and said they would cancel the order and refund my money. Today is January 16 and the money STILL hasnt been refunded into my account. I sent ANOTHER email today and probably wont receive a response for another couple of days because their customer service is the absolute worst. They respond when they feel like it. So now Im out $85 and I cant even get in touch with them. Absolutely disgusting.
I was fitted for bras and placed an order for three on 9/2/17 using my debit card. Their new system of doing business requires you to be fitted at the store and then they place an order with the manufacturer. I was told that they would be there in three weeks. By mid-November, only two had arrived, and I asked to cancel the last one. They told me they would give me a refund. When the refund didnt post to my account, I visited the store and called numerous times, and they realized that they had erroneously given me a store credit, and supposedly fixed it. When nothing posted to my account in December, I stopped by the store on 1/25/18, and was told that it should post by the end of the month because we transitioned to the chip system. I have traded voicemails and conversations with the store manager, Lorraine, at least 5 times, and she keeps assuring me that it is a glitch in their system and it should post by the end of the month - I have been told this three months in a row, and I know they are lying. I then filed a Better Business Bureau complaint on March 12, 2018. Jessica, who I believe is the owner, called me later that day and said that a money order would be sent to me for $72.19. I never received it, as of 4/10/18.
Adored my time in the store. My Bra is a great fit and not my grandmothers bra Being a larger cup size it is difficult to find bras that do the job and still leave you feeling sexy. I would recommend the shop to anyone.
I have been going to Helen of Troy since they were at the Massapequa mall!! I have a large natural chest and could never find the perfect bra ! I am so thankful to have stopped at this fabulous boutique!!! Jessica and her staff went thru series of bras to find the right one for me!!! I went to the Helen of Troy store in February. The bras and matching panties were not in stock and Jessica the owner of the store placed an order for me with the vendor. I received a partial order in March, but have been waiting for the rest of the order to come in. I have to be honest after reading all the negative reviews on Google I was at the point that I didnt believe the rest of the order would ever come in, however I was wrong because today the rest came in and I was personally called by Jessica to let me know. I know there are customers who are still waiting for their merchandise, but my suggestion is to stop leaving messages at the store and to go inside the store and speak with Jessica personally. Anytime I have gone inside the store Jessica was always available to speak with me to let me know what was going on with my order. The only reason I gave this review four stars instead of five was because it took so long for my order to be filled, this may be due to the vendors the store is working with, not something Jessica did. The store has some very beautiful merchandise and they definitely specialize in difficult sizes.
My wife was told about this store, and 2 years ago they held stock in the store and the experience was great. The last experience matches what others have said. She ordered 2 bras Thanksgiving weekend. She called for status and they called back and said 2 more weeks. This was in January. She and I have both called (they dont answer the phone) and left messages with no response EVER. We wanted to just cancel the order. After a few weeks of no responses we were forced to call the credit card company and file a charge back. Make sure you keep order info so you can fax it to your credit card company for a refund. My advice is to google search the item you want and order elsewhere unless you like someone sitting on your money for months and months with no product in your hand.
I am a full chested girl and sad to admit that I normally settle for bras that dont exactly fit. I pull up and go inside Helen and its an adorable little shop. I have never had an actual fitting or gone to a bra store so I was hesitant when I first walked in. The girls behind the counter immediately jumped to my rescue and were angels!! They gave me my actual correct size and were so helpful with picking out designs and colors. I loved the experience and I love my bras. I walked out of the store with $600 worth of bras that I still wear and love. I tell everyone about Helen
Its been a month since I ordered my bras. I believe this company is on the way out of business. I go into the store and all the helpful sales assistants go dark and just say they are on the way. I will continue to go to the flagship store to either get a refund or the bras in actual store so I dont lose out on my gift from my husband. #disaster

Absolutely disgusted with this store. Ordered 4 bras before Xmas, paid over $250 for them and still to this day, have not gotten them! No communication from anyone, the manger lied right to my face time and time again. I would not recommend them to anyone if they were the last bra store on earth! Ordered 2 bras on line on April 29. It took over a month for 1 bra to come. I have yet to get the other bra. I have emailed and called the store several times. I have not gotten a response. They have my money for almost 2 months. Where is my bra???!!!
Ordered 2 nursing Bras about 2 weeks before I was due to have my baby. 6 weeks after having my child, with multiple phone calls from me and visits to the store later, I still did not have my bras. They never called me to give me updates and getting in touch with the store was hit or miss. When I finally got fed up with waiting over 8 weeks for my order I canceled the order and was informed that I would only get a store credit. I told the salesperson I did not want a store credit and I wanted it credited to my card and she informed me that because it was special order it would only be a store credit. I told her that was not my problem and after waiting 8 weeks for an order that never came they can credit my card. She finally agreed and said it would be done but she couldn’t do it right then and there. Fast forward another two months and I still did not recieve my credit. I went into the store because again I could not get anyone on the phone and was informed that I was never credited and I had a store credit. I decided to give them another chance and ordered regular bras that they said would be in in a week and a half. They did give me a discount on the Bras but three weeks later I am still waiting. I don’t understand how they do business. While I was in there another customer came in complaining that her order from 6 weeks ago was still not in. Why should it take so long. I made sure this time I ordered bras that were common and that the salesperson told me they received in regularly and I’m still waiting. The sales people are nice enough but their system is horrible and I will never shop here again.
I ordered a two bras here in September. My order came out to be $150 for two bras. One came in December after I called over three times to check on it. The other never came. I have left voicemails and called weekly. Never have gotten a response. Needless to say I do not recommend unless you are trying to be ripped off and robbed.
You will never receive your merchandise and they will not be considerate enough to contact you and let you know what is going on either. Now they also don’t do refunds so once you spend your money you’ve officially been scammed. No wonder all of their employees stopped working there if they don’t value their customers I’m sure they don’t value their employees.

I have been shopping at this store since its original location in the mall.Love the quality and the service.I still have an original bra I brought back in 2012.
Ladies I have you all beat by a mile I ordered my bras September12,2017 I was told it would take 2-3 weeks and they would come in the mail I needed them for my grandsons christening they rushed one for me I got it the week if the affair which was October 22. After numerous phone call and hearing they balance if the order will be in with in a week today is December 11 2017 my bra came but I’m still missing one I quote “the balance will be in shortly” very unhappy customer. To wait 3 months is ridiculous
I ordered a bra in early October and was told it would take about 3 weeks to come in. It didnt. Each time I call the shop it goes straight to voicemail so you have to wait for somebody to return your call. I have been told 6 times by either Jessica or Lorraine that it would be in by the end of the week or the vague timeline of very soon. (Apparently, from reading the other reviews, this is something thats said to every waiting customer). Lorraine even told me on New Years Eve, I assure you, at the end of this week after making the excuse that it was delayed due to the holidays, mind you I ordered in OCTOBER! Well, it is now mid-January and still no bra. (By the way, I found the same bra for a similar price on another website and received it at my doorstep in a matter of DAYS). I will now be asking for a refund and if that is denied I will be making a claim with my credit card company since I was charged but merchandise was never received and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would encourage others who have posted here with the same issue to do so as well. If I had known they already have an F rating with the BBB because of others making similar complaints, I would never have ordered in the first place. Its a shame because the couple of times I had previously been in the shop and my bras were in stock, the salespeople were helpful, which is why I thought I could trust them, but after this experience, I will no longer be a customer.Update: After offering me some other deals and discounts which I declined, they finally agreed to cancel my order and credit my card but said it would take 5-7 business days to show up on my card. I waited way beyond 7 business days and still no credit was reflected (not too surprising, but was trying one last time to give them the benefit of the doubt). At that point, I called my credit card company to dispute the charge and made a claim.2nd update: Now they are telling the credit card company they gave store credit. This is an outright lie. I declined store credit (useless, nothing is in stock!) and the agreement was to issue credit back to my card. So I am now filing a complaint with BBB which I should have done in the beginning, apparently. Reading the reviews its clear this happens to MANY customers and I would urge them to contact BBB also. Unacceptable....
I had been to other stores and never got a good bra fitting/ or bra that fit my needs and me right. I started going to Helen of Troy when I was pregnant with my 2nd child and I have not gone to any other store for bras since then. The sale professionals at the store made me feel extremely comfortable and provided me with a proper bra Sizing and helped me select the best bra for me. They keep your profile in the computer so they always know what you have bought in the past for personal preferences and true individualized shopping experience. Each time I have gone back they always remember me and ask how my children are. It is a very nice personal experience. The prices are comparable to the quality and because I have overspent in the past on bras that do not fit me, I am willing to spend a little more on a good fitting bra.
After 6 months of waiting for bras to be delivered to me, I went into the store and while they didnt give me a refund, I was able to pick out 2 bras at a higher value and was honored at the same price. I dont know If i will shop there again for fear of the same thing happening again but at least they made it right after complaining 3 times
This store does not deserve any star. Went to the Massapequa store in February ordered bras at which time i was told two weeks to receive, well after two weeks went back told end of month, still did not receive, went back to store they would not refund only store credit, well its april and nothing they just tske your money and dont deliver. Its off to the better business bureau now. Stay away from this store unless you wish to give your money away.
If you Have to special order a bra DO NOT ORDER I repeat do not order from this store. it been one month and my bra is still not in. I asked for my money back and they only can give you store credit. if you need a bra go to BLUMS in Patchogue they have a large selection and they are so nice, Chances are you won’t have to order a bra because they will have your size.
I ordered bras from here 4 months ago. They told me it would take 3 weeks for them to arrive. I went into the store during that last week of january and they told me that they had been shipped and will be arriving the first week of febuary, nearly two months after i ordered them. Still nothing. And when you call the store, no answer. This is possibly the worst experience i have ever had with a company. And i will be expecting a full refund.
I am an extremely unpleased unhappy customer . I ordered quite a few bras 2 weeks before halloween this year 2017 its been a month and 3 weeks and I still not received what I ordered. I called numerous times and each time I am told it is due to the holiday season which does not make sense to me because I ordered them before Halloween. Before the holiday season even started . Then I was told theyre coming from the UK I asked where from the UK is it from Guam or something because this is unbelievable that its taking over a month to receive my bras. I feel like I paid for something and got ripped off . Every employee I speak to says the same thing like they heard it time and time again . I will never shop at the store ever again. Ordered a strapless bra on Memorial day (for the summer dresses) Got it JUNE 24 Wore it once all the hooks came off Brought it back JULY 4th Girl asked how it was washed Really Took it back said they would get me another bra called last week still no bra Today August 12th NOTHING every time I call I get its on its way. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! She takes your money and never ships the order. My mother has been waiting over a month and there are people who have stated via Google and the BBB that they have been waiting OVER A YEAR. She will not pick up the phone and when you go in the store she pretends that she’s not the owner and that the owner doesn’t come into the store. Disgusting! If I could rate this place lower than a zero I would! I used to love coming here, every couple of months when I needed new bras. Up until they have changed the policy and you now had to order your bras. I made the mistake of coming here in December to order two bras I needed. Only to come to my surprise that instead of walking out with the bras I purchased, I have now spent about two months waiting on my purchase to arrive. I spent about $300 here in December and in total in this store about nearly about $1,000 or more. Not only does this business not send you an order confirmation but they do not update you on your order at all. This is place is very irresponsible, and I will no longer be spending my money here and I advise others not to do so. I will be visiting this store on Monday to demand my refund for my merchandise I have never received. If this business truly cared about their customers they will update them on ETA changes, Backorders and at least apologize when you enter the store for an update and they give you false promises! I work in a business that deal with special orders, and trust me we always inform the customers on any changes to keep a good relationship with them and not to break their trust. My last note on this: DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON MERCHANDISE YOUVE NEVER RECEIVED!! And if the business owner ever comes across this and reads this Shame on you! You have received numerous of complaints on yelp, Facebook and google! I know you must read them and yet you do nothing but steal your customers money! You lost a customer and I will never buy something from here again.***UPDATE***So since I finished up my semester and came back from School I finally had the time to go in and visit the store to get a refund. About 6 months ago I purchased these bras and were told they would come in about 2-3 weeks. No one had informed me about the return policy, no one had attempted to reach me at all, no shipping or tracking information. No communication between consumer and retailer. During my winter break I had came in for an update and the lady at desk informed me one was being shipped and the other bra was still in production and never heard another word from the store until my recent visit. So when I went into the store I asked for a refund and the order to be cancelled. Not like my merchandise was ever going to come anyways. Apparently the store doesn’t do refunds, if I had know this would’ve happened 6 months ago I would have never even placed this order. So after going back and forth attempting to get a refund we came to conclusion that I would just have to pick two new bras out or get a store credit. If it was so easy just to pick two new bras out and take them with me the day of my original purchase I wouldn’t need to write this review. So while I went to go try on the new bras another customer had walked in and were complaining about their order that had never came in either. When I spoke to the manager about all the reviews that the store has online she had a there’s nothing I could do about it vibe. So to finish this review off, I walked out the store with two bras because I couldn’t get a refund, an employee not sure if she is the manager or owner reached out and had asked me to take down this review because the issue was “resolved”. To me this issue isn’t resolved since there still are other customers who haven’t received their products. They said if I were to come in my experience would be very different than last time. I don’t think I’d ever step foot in this business that doesn’t care.. again. It’s shocking that out of the 6 months that no one from this company has reached out to me until I go into the store and have to pick something else out and then I get an email asking for this review to be taken down about 2 weeks later their visit. Where was this communication when I was waiting for my order to never arrive?
It seems like this must be a trend and shame on the owner of the store to not even bat an eyelash at these reviews! I understand that a lot of these bras come from overseas, I get that and although you are catering to niche crowd, you would think that you would be a little more forthcoming with where the orders are and when to expect them. The first time I went to the store it was a great experience and I went home happy with a new bra, so when a secret sale came up, and I was in need of a bra, I got it. The money has been taken out since Mid November, before the holidays even started. When I inquired in the beginning of Dec, a member of their team by the name of Jessica emailed me back, saying that it would take a little over a week or so and Id have it. I still dont have it.When you call their number, it goes right to a machine, not even the store so that they can avoid direct contact with you, hoping you just keep waiting for your bra to come in. Besides the fact that they just lost my business due to finding the same bra on Amazon for a little more, Im also going to report them to the BBB because this seems to be a rather alarming coincidence with others and things shouldnt be left like this...
It was great to finally get a true fitting and a bra that fits! They also sell great bathing suits with lots of support and an appropriate fit.
It has been almost a month since my purchase was made and paid and still no bras. Im starting to suspect that my bras were not ordered right away. I called today and was told that the delay of 1 bra was because it is the color coral and the other bra was because it is coming from the U.K. Neither of these answers make any sense. My suspicion is that my $ went towards rent, utilities or payroll and my order was placed at a later date if it has been placed at all. Maybe they avoid placing an order until a call is made to the store by a customer inquiring or maybe my bra was ordered and is being shipped by steamship and has been crossing the Atlantic for the last several weeks. Hopefully I get my bras soon, if I do I will be happy to be wrong and gladly write another review. I gave 1 star for this review because although I found the saleswoman pleasant and knowledgeable, I should have been told before being fitted, spending time trying on bras and literally standing at the register with my purchase that the bras are not sold in the store but will be mailed to me. Also, I was told my purchase would be mailed to me so casually I wrongly assumed my bras would come in days not weeks. Thanks for wasting my time and taking my money Helen of Troy, now where are my bras?

Unfortunately I am dealing with the same nonsense as many others. I ordered bras in October, was told they would be delivered in two weeks. Have made numerous calls to the store nust to be told that the delivery has been delayed. I asked for money back which was denied, was only.offered store credit. This is absolutely ridiculous. This madness has to stop!!!
This place does not deserve any stars. I bought my daughter a bra on Jan. 31, 2018 and was told it woukd be in in 2 weeks. Tgey claim they would send an Email. My daughter looked & searched her emails & found nothing. We went in person at thecend of Feburary. The person looked up our order & said its busy and there were order delays & it would be in within 2 weeks. The beginning of April same story. They are ope mb ed when people work. They were vlosed today still 97 days later NO EMAIL, NO PHONR CALL & NO BRA. OUT THERE $77.00!
I ordered a Bra in the store on the 17th September of 2017 it is now January 7 2018 and I do not have my bra. I have been calling since October and gotten NO solution. In the last 2 weeks I have left voicemails and not gotten a call back. No matter what time or day I call NOONE answers the phone. I am a 32J Cup, my bras are not cheap, this is garbage service. I want my bra or my money. It has been nearly 5 MONTHS. I was told the order would take 3 weeks.I spent $136 5 MONTHS AGO!
I want everybody to know to do yourself a favor and if they dont have anything in stock do not give them your credit card !!!! Here is my journey on January 21st I walked into the store to get fitted for a bra and I bought three bras and I dealt with Jessica and she is the owner!!!! because I know her sister and her sister told me she was the owner!! So if anybody was wondering who the owner is its Jessica . I am a bigger size so they dont have inventory there for bigger size women. That day my credit card was charged $219 I had no problem giving them my credit card because I needed the bras desperately and I cant buy my bras anywhere because and Im pregnant but they told me it would only take 2 weeks . The next time I called them was 4 Weeks Later and they take a day to call and get back to you. the reason why they take a day to get back to you is because they Outsource their customer service now if you ever went to the store their store only has two Associates and never busy so for them to Outsource their customer service is ridiculous. They never pick up the phone in the store because it doesnt ring at the store they have someone working at home picking up for their customer service so they call you the next day. They said it would be within a week I called again a week after that then they said February 14th that when i receiving a package, so I was excited but that excitement quickly diminished because when I received the package it was the sample bra a very used bra I may add trying to pass as a new bra. when I called customer service and made them aware of this that I knew it was a used I asked specifically to speak with Jessica and Jessica the owner confess that it was used and and she only sent it to me and good will... I can have something in the meantime while I wait for my bras to come in but they try passing it as new and put a Post-It note saying other bras will come in soon, again with no date. Admitting that they sent me a used bra and since I was going away there was nothing I can do about it and trust me I wanted to send it back to them cuz it wasnt dry cleaned and it was very dirty and I told them do you understand Im pregnant and I could have gotten a breast infection. Fast forward till now I have yet to receive any information or them calling me back. I put a dispute on my credit card in the end the end of February and today I called and my credit card was charged again from Helen of Troy and what the credit card company told me they sent us a tracking number and then they asked me if I lived in Bayshore and I said no and they clearly knew I dont because they have my address so they reactivated the dispute because they gave them false information.... this is a horror show I never shop online and now Im going to try to get everybody I can involved whether its news or anybody I can. please if you guys are desperate and are an M cup like I am go to blums in Patchogue they have big sizes that you can walk out with this place isnt worth it and if you read the reviews which I should have done to begin with, Im not the first person theyve done this to .anybody want to contact me please do!! I’ve been waiting 7 months for a bra and am still waiting. Customer service is terrible, can’t seem to get a hold on anyone. I’ve been buying from them for years and then they switched to order online from the store only and it was terrible. Heard they went back to store but at this point I’m already done with them. I want the bra I paid for and my money back. Maybe you’ll see this since apparently nobody sees my voicemails.

Helen of Troy Bras, Massapequa - BIG thumbs down. (They are also a member of Long Island Loyalty). This is a local store that I will never again shop at whether it be in store or online.I placed an order on July 7th through their website and the order was confirmed by them on July 7th via email, stating order was in process and I would be notified when it ships. My credit card was charged 2 days later on July 9th for the order totaling a little over $90.On July 17th I still had not received the order nor any word if it had shipped. I emailed them to find out when my order was being shipped. They responded TWO DAYS LATER, July 20th advising that my order was expected to ship the next day, July 21st with an expected delivery within 1 – 2 business days.On Wednesday July 26th I visited the store since my order STILL had not arrived and I was told it had been delivered the day before - Tuesday, July 25th. I did not receive the package. I agreed to give it one more day. I called the store again on Friday July 28th and spoke with Jessica since as of the 28th I STILL had not received my order. Jessica advised that my order had been delivered and was going to place a trace on the shipment to see where it was. (I came to find out a few days later that Jessica is the owner of the store.)I sent an email to them Sunday morning advising them that that as of July 30th, I still have NOT received my order. I told them that I don’t care whether the order was shipped or not, or where or if it was delivered. I want the order cancelled and a credit issued back to my credit card.As of Monday afternoon, July 31st I have not received a reply to my email. I called the store explaining the situation AGAIN and told them I want the order cancelled and a credit issued back to my card. The girl I spoke with told me that only the manager can handle that, she stepped out and is expected back within the hour and she will have manager call me. TWO HOURS later, no call from the manager. I call again, only to be told she left, but she did get my message and will call me.At 6:00 pm on Monday.....manager (whos name is Jessica...owner?), has still not returned my call. I left ANOTHER message that I would like to hear from Jessica by 7:00 pm tonight.FINALLY a response to my email (and repeated phone calls?) requesting a refund. Refund has been issued. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. Just notice that a refund was issued.I apologize for being long winded here, but Im sorry, this is absolutely not the correct way for the owner of a local store looking for local business to have handled this situation.P.S. - Thursday afternoon I went online, found the exact same items through another site that I had ordered from Helen of Troy (and never received) and for less money. I ordered them from the other site on Thursday, they shipped on Friday, I received them Saturday, and I saved $26 in the process.
Word cant describe the servie there. The sales rep Victoria was so helpful in helping me chose my bridal bra and my binkins for my up and coming wedding in august. I cant wait to go back to get more things from there. They made me feel wlecomed and comfortable i truly enjoyed my time there Thank you so much

I would not do business with this company unless you like paying for goods youll never receive, being lied to and not getting your money back from them without a fight!In April 3rd I went to Helen of Troy and was fitted for 2 bras by Bonnie. Bonnie was very helpful. She told me they didnt carry my size in stock and had to order it and it was coming from England. I was disappointed but needed a good fitting bra. She said it would take 2wks.After 2wks and not hearing anything I decided to stop in. I was told they were expecting a delivery that week but didnt know if my order was in the shipment and they would call me when I comes in. On May 4th after 2 more weeks of not hearing anything I called. I was told that my order still hadnt come in and that she would have the manager call me. She also took my email address.On May 6th the manager Jessica emailed me and said that they had an issue with the supplier and that they were expecting my bras to come in May 10th. After a few email exchanges with her with very little apology or sympathy I had enough and said I just wanted a refund and that I was taking my business somewhere else. That was May 9th.May 10th Jessica emailed me and said they were refunding me. On May 16th I email her asking when I could expect the refund in my account. Jessica emailed back the same day and said it was processed on the 10th and it takes 5-8 business days for the refund to show in my account.On May 24 I emailed Jessica questioning were my refund was. I did not hear back from her so I called on May 26th bc I still had no refund. The girl on the phone said it was processed on the 16th and it takes a few days. I said yes but not 2 weeks. I said I wanted to speak with Jessica. She said she would have her call me.I did not not hear back from Jessica so I emailed her again on the 30th asking why I still had no refund. She emailed and left me a message saying the refund was processed on the 12th and that she had sent me an email with the confirmation. I never received a confirmation email. I called and left her a message explaining how upset I was. I then decided to just go to the store.When I got to the store I asked for Jessica they said shes not in. I said Id like to speak with another manager. I was told its just the 4 of them and Jessica was the only manager. I said ok Id like to speak to the owner and was told Jessica is the owner! After hearing that I was extremely angry that this is how Ive been treated by the owner! I said I wanted to speak with her on the phone right then.They called Jessica and again she lied and said the refund was processed, this time on the 13th and she claimed she sent me the confirmation on Friday May 26th. I asked her to resend it while I was on the phone. I waited in the store for 15mins and still had not received the email. I asked her to take a photo of the confirmation and text it to me. She said at that time she couldnt but that shed try sending it from a different email address.I ended up having to leave the store with no email confirmation and no refund because I was on a time schedule. As soon as I got home that night, still May 30th, I called my bank and disputed the charges. They are crediting my account for the charge and will be going after her for the money. Almost 2 months this went on and Im now very glad I will not have to deal with this store ever again!Michelle DeStefano, LMT

Absolutely horrible service!! They used to be great but they have gone down hill DRAMATICALLY!!! I ordered a bra in December and finally got it in February. However, it was the WRONG bra!! I tried for 3 months to get in touch with someone. Tried calling and emailing- NOTHING! Finally, someone answered and said they would rush me the right bra. I waited, a month went by and I never got it. Sent another email. They said they emailed me a return label, which they never did and I had to return the wrong bra before they would send me the new one!! OVER 6 MONTHS TO GET ONE BRA!!! HORRIBLE. Will never return again after I finally get the right bra I ordered that costed a fortune anyway. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
This place is horrible ordered bras 3 months ago and still havent received them the girl in the store keeps telling next week theyre on back order...wanted to cancel order but wouldnt get my cash refund still waiting for the bras never will.shop here again..and nobody answers phone its not like they are busy

I made an in store order back in November of 2017 and it is Now February 7; No signs of a Order/shipment. I called to cancel today and someone told me it’s in Transit however she couldn’t provide me with a tracking number. I don’t know how this company is Operating. At this point; all I want is my full Refund ASAP.
