Amazing local spot for good grub....a must try. Had the Original Cameo Burger with all the fixings, mozzarella sticks w/ sauce, and the fried pretzels with cheese. Huge yummy greasy burger that tasted fresh and homemade. Mozz was just right how I like them...not too stringy...just the right amount of chew...and had a nice crunch. Never really had heard of a fried pretzel before...but it was a nice appetizer too...just make sure you dip it in their cheese sauce. What a nice quaint little joint on S. Erie.
Steak was cooked beautifully. Cooked up to perfection. Eggs were delicious. The only complaint I had is that I asked for very easy onions in my home fries and there was an abundance.

It took him about 35-40 minutes to take my order. And then I feel like the patty melt that I ordered had no seasoning on the meat. I did like the fried mushrooms though. I went there after work at 7:00 in the morning. It was pretty busy. And the vodka and orange juice I had I felt like could have used more vodka LOL seriously though. I am going to go back one more time to try the burger just because Ive heard so much about it. But I hope the same meat that was used for my patty melt is not the same meat that makes the burger. Can I get some Lawrys and some hot sauce 🤗

1st time there! Both of us had bacon cheeseburger, shared fried pickles and fresh cut fries. Everything was amazing!! Only reason giving four stars is that it was cash only. That still wouldnt stop us from going back!
Had the jumbo jalapeno dog which was pretty good. The fried zucchini were excellent. Just note its cash only and they do have an ATM inside.

Food grease and not cooked to good
I am new to the area my friend here introduce me to this please. I was excited besides the friendly and awesome service and food the seat you see from the stadium my friend from Chardon Ohio Hilltoppers renovated the new stadium seats his company. His high school team won the state championship at the stadium. Cameo bar and Grill is an amazing awesome place to visit a lot of history and the staff is very friendly and has a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend visiting this place and I’ll be back.
I used to live in Massillon and the Cameo was once a favorite so I happened to be near by and decided to stop in. I received a cheap frozen burger and a jack n coke with no alcohol in it. The burger was edible but not good quality meat, plus missing all the stuff that comes with the Cameo burger that I made sure was still the same before ordering it. I used to recommend this place all the time but wont be back for awhile myself now.
Went there for different meals with different people over 3 days. Always excellent. Shrimp one day, steak the next...

We were SO disappointed in the food on our first trip there. My husband and I both ordered burgers. He ordered a bacon cheeseburger and I ordered my burger with swiss cheese. First off, there was NO bacon on the bacon cheeseburger. Mine did have the swiss cheese that I ordered. We also ordered an order of fries and an order of onion rings. The onion rings were brought out about 15 min before the rest. We were informed that they were served as an appetizer. So, they were cold by the time our food was served. I didnt even eat half of my burger because is was so dry, I could barely swallow it. It didnt even leave any juice on the bun.Itworst burger I have tried to eat in a very long time. I ordered food through DoorDash a little before 9 from them. The weather is bad so I’m not expecting lightning speed from the door dasher, but when they finally get there, the people at Cameo said they didn’t make the order cause I placed it too late. Which would have been fine if I hadn’t literally been waiting almost 2 hours at this point, still expecting food to eventually get to me. If it was past the point of ordering why not cancel it or contact me as soon as I placed it. Again, if you closed before the dasher got there, why not cancel the order or contact me. I could have just moved on to ordering something else. The reason I’m upset is because I could have made other arrangements but by the time I was informed I was not going to receive my food, everything else was closed and there was nowhere to order from except fast food.

My boyfriend and I went hereIt was a very friendly burger joint / bar. Staff was wonderful and attentive. Food was delicious I got the lg sized 1/2 lb cameo bacon cheeseburger and lg fresh cut fries. And very reasonably priced. Music was good too. I will definitely be going back.

Cameo Grill has been a fixture of Massillon for decades. They are famous for their Original Cameo Burgers which are almost as big as a dinner plate and delicious. The Cameo Burgers do come a smaller sizes for smaller appetites.
