Context, I just got my second car ever ...I thought the employees would know about cars, they couldnt answer basic questions, like about oil for my car,and if it wasnt for a customer stepping in, I would of blown my engine, then i asked about a car cover, I was told to read the box, and you cant read the box because the writing is blured with bad ink, so impossible to read, so I waited another 30 minutes to ask for help again now Im their foe an hour just to be told idk, so I put cover back and got on line again because only 1 register is open so 30 minutes or so later I was up but only if I was paying to leave, so I was their for at least an hour or so, the customer that originally helped me waited for me to give me some basic info that the employees could not provide, so I will not be returning to auto zone ....tip,if u run a business, make sure you hire people who know the business.....

I had the pleasure of working with the district manager Peter today from the Shirley location. My husband needed a few minor things for his truck because the belt broke. Well Peter helped my husband when he came back twice to make sure he had the right tools. Peter expressed to my husband that if he still couldn’t fix the belt he would come to where he was and help him. Peter did just that! He helped my husband take care of everything even in the mist of this pandemic! Peter we thank you and appreciate everything you did!! I ordered some parts for my car yesterday and the worker forgot to send order.When I went to them today they started looking for parts and they realized that parts was in another store. The guy spent almost 1 hour to drive 3 miles and come back and bring my part. Also, no excuse, no apologies, nothing! Not feeling that they did mistake and feeling bad. Get smiled and funny to me. Definitely don’t go there any more. My technician was waiting for my but because of time couldn’t fixed my car today. Thanks autozone for the best customer service and take care of me!

Terrible experience! Ordered a part at the store on Saturday afternoon around 11:45. The part was supposed to be in Sunday morning, it wasnt. They said it will be here in the afternoon, it wasnt. They promised it would be in Monday morning, it wasnt. I go there today, Tuesday morning and it still wasnt there. I was livid. The manager, Anna, claimed she hadnt been there all weekend and didnt know anything about it. She looked in the computer after I told her the story and she said the part had been received and told a worker to find it. Ten minutes later she said they could not find it and she would be able to get the part from a store in Philly tomorrow morning and promised to give a percentage back... I guess Ill see what happens.

The worst experience ever. I bought a battery out of the Shirley store two months ago. When I returned it. ( Under Warranty )They told me they will charge me the difference and Ill have to wait for the refund. ( I assumed the difference ) I was charged full price twice $153.00 and another $153.00 $306 dollars. I called them back and they said it was a clinch for the first 153. the other was a computer error that will be fixed within 3-5 business days.

Didn’t get correct change!! Coin Shortage. So they give you less money back. I would’ve even taken a store credit for the change. It’s just the principle. Not a good way to do business. For that you get 1 lonely star!!

Very helpful, greeted promptly, got the part I asked for speedily. I needed one more item, a piece of hi pressure hose, she went in back cut it to size and rang it up. I returned later as one of the parts Id purchased was not needed, she handled the credit and debited my new purchase and I left with a store credit balance. This employee was a complete professional, my visit went as well as it could possibly have. There was one item which I purchased later at a hardware store that they did not have, a hacksaw tool for working in tight spaces, and which I think they should carry.

Normally Id say about 3&1/2 for customer service. 5 stars for having a part for a good price. But Last time I was there I needed a reading on my check engine light & the MANAGER (new obviously because Ive been a customer for YEARS!) told me no! Not wait not come back STRAIGHT NO! Never going back.

Super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Just needed to replace a burned out headlight bulb. I was pleasantly greeted at the door, had the bulb I needed within 5 minutes and thats including paying for it and and this is a big AND, one of the young men took the time to install it for me in front of the store and refused a tip. HE REFUSED A TIP! Saud he enjoys helping people. Gem of an auto parts store. Super nice people

The staff has always been very helpful. And I have always had success with buying parts etc from autozone. Note that I do buy detailing products, and my oil elsewhere. As far as oil filters, fuses, sockets, and other odds and ends for auto related stuff I have no complaints.

Service here is incredibly slow, nobody working here seems to know what theyre doing and they dont know a thing about auto parts or cars. Every time I go in here I either end up waiting 20 minutes in line or get held up at the register for a half hour because the person working doesnt know how to work the computer and has no concept of time. There is no sense of order in this store, its a mess. Do yourself a favor and go to advance autoparts across the street and be in and out in 5 minutes.

A store in crisis. How else can you explain just two people working the counters and the phones while there are another 4+ people aimlessly walking around. I was third inline at the pay counter and waited ~20 minutes to buy off the shelf items. By the time I got out the pay counter was ~15 deep! The parts counter wait was just as long. Big waits are normal on weekends, but they dont have to be. A little management please.

They have a specific girl, heavy set at the hips, dark hair, young... she told my friend he had a Ford focus engine in his Toyota (idiot didnt reset the machine from the last car she used it on). Then recently I went there the girl over charged me..I bought tree items at 11.99,8.99 and 4.99 and she was trying to charge me 41$...even with tax I knew that was wrong. On the reciet I realized she charged me twice for certain items and rung up and took off items multiple times so it was incredibly hard to keep track of where she messed up. Low and behold I told her to return everything and then Ill just rebuy these three items...she tried to return 38$ worth when I paied 41 so once again her math didnt add up...she didnt give me my old reciet so I instead of arguing the 4$ they owed me I just decided to never go back there again.

Car wouldnt start, I thought the battery was dead. Brought it to the store, they checked it and found it to be in good condition. Guy that checked it listened to the symptoms and suggested that the problem was with the starter. Back in the day I would have done it myself but to old now to be getting under a car. Mechanic verified a bad starter and I was back on the road the next morning.

Autozone is very over priced. I bought a 5 quart jug of oil and the next day I found the same brand at Walmart for half the price. Not on sale! I was shocked!This location often has empty shelves and little staff. Last visit, I spent twenty minutes returning and purchasing because the clerk was new and not trained well if at all. Only one person in the store that could authorize the return and since he was busy helping most of all the other customers, he was streched thin. I have to replace the same radiator twice because they are made defective. The one that is in my car now is leaking! It is not an easy job to remove and replace in spite of the lifetime warranty. Rewards points are great if you can ever get them. The Rewards card policy is spend twenty dollars and get a point. After you get 5 points, you get twenty dollars in store credit. Then I find out buying fluids does not count! I have had to call a service center to get other missing points on non fluid purchases and told that they would apply them to my account but never showed up. My purchases therein will be only out of absolute necessity.
