1/9/18 Found the hard to find pop figure I wanted at this location, the pop figure section was extremely organized unlike most locations. The staff greeted me as I walked and thanked me for coming in as I left.Thank God for this store/Location,it should be the model on how other locations are to be organized!I found what i wanted in seconds for my nephew (an avengers action figure)and something for myselfThe prices were with the right figures and the selection was fantastic.Not only this location is well stocked and well organized.It has one of the bigger pop figure selection/areas like stuff you can only get online is at this location.

Great customer service. If they dont have something youre looking for they will assist in locating it at a different location or offer to place the order online and have it shipped to your home. Supervisors actually supervise with superior service if there is an issue.

Everyone working here is very friendly. The store is clean and very well organized. I love the deal they have with their credit card because you get 10% off of your purchase on Thursdays! I go here for the Yugioh cards! Great store!

I truly cant believe they are closing. I always came here for my toy/book purchases. This store had everything I always needed. Very friendly cashiers but the Manager needs more customer service skills.

Always great service!! Today I bought a bike for my sons bday. The gentleman that helped me was off duty and went out of his way to make sure the bike I picked was stable and put more air in the tires and helped me check out. By far the best toys r us Ive been to in the area!!

Poor customer service I called for a item the lady I spoke with said they had six.i get there to pick up the item the item was nowhere to be found.the staff looked for the item but never came back and walked pass as if I wasn’t standing there. Another associate came and asked if I was being helped I said I believe . To my surprise I see the two associates that were helping earlier peeking around the corner to see if I was still standing there.it was my 1st and last experience at the location I took my business to the Orland location where I was greeted and taken great care of thank you toys R. Us of Orland and to Matteson I will never be returning to this location ever again.

To bad they are closing the doors. Had a great time with the kids roaming the aisles looking for deals. Found a lot of toys using up some of the gift cards we had. Store was not the most cleanly of stores but not too much expected for going out of business. Manager on duty was very helpful in finding some specific toys we were looking for.

Its a nice inexpensive place to take a bunch of children. For less than $100 we had a great time pizza and drinks included.

Great customer service - I went in on Wednesday, April 1st and was greeted by Shanae at the Customer Service desk. We selected a Fisher Price four wheeler for my sons birthday and she was super helpful. I noticed the teamwork and enthusiasm from everyone with getting me the best deal. I wasnt aware of the bike special and credit card offer for free financing. While I was being assisted, I noticed how well Shanae helped everyone. Great worker and professional! I was very pleased with my experience and will continue to support Toys R Us in Matteson.

Shalita was FABULOUS!! Knew exactly where each item I was looking for was. Not only knowledgeable but had a 5 STAR personality also!!

Manager Sean Washington gave outstanding service and went above and beyond to help me locate my purchase.

Staff here was great ! The Manager on staff 5/6/17 was friendly and personable and everyone greeted us as soon as we walked in . I will continue to patronize ! Great to have a toy store in the south suburbs !

Im happy with my visit today. I was able to find what I came for quickly and checkout.

Asked two different people if they would help us take the kids Range Rover display car down from upper shelf so we could see it more closely. Both said they would be right back and never returned. Seems an air of indifference among staff. Definitely unwilling to make any extra effort to help customers. Disappointed with overall staffing of this location.

Some things were a bit pricey but was able to find some reasonably priced items for my daughter and nephew.

Love this Toys R Us. And I love that they make a big deal of the childrens birthdays when the birthday child is in store :)

Its no wonder why this store is closing. Even though a product was clearly labeled 30 percent off, they couldnt figure out how to change it in the system and would not honor it. To future business owners, take note of this example of a failing business.

This place is the worst toy r us because the employees dont even know what there special deals for customer. I called a day before they told they had some.So i went the next day they are Liars they didnt some. So dont waste your time in this place!!!😡😡

I called them to check an item availability, they transfer the phone to the inventory guy, and that guy just pretended cant hear me and hang up. I called again but the guy did the same thing. Worst ever!

They have so much going on with toys you can never just go their a get 1 item. My kids spend hours trying to figure out what they want from there.

An almost banal staff addressed my concern as if reading from a queue-card; offered no contingency - because frankly, I dont think their aptitude extends that far; and an associate thought it was a good time to converse with the associate that was addressing my concern at the moment I walked up .... Will not return here.

They dont answer the phone and they get a attitude when you ask a question . They can go to hell

I was here on a Sunday. Overall the store was typical for any Toys R Us location. The wait at the registers was longer than it should have been, however, and we waited over 15 minutes for someone to bring a small box from the back.

Poor customer service, I see why they had to file, bk. It took 4 people to find 2 items.

Super sad its closed. I went here as a child and I brought my children as well.
