The folks here are great! Had a problem with mobile text notifications that ATT tech support, Samsung tech support or UbreakIFix could not fix. Very courteous and patient. We appreciate their help!
Aaron is awesome!He really worked tirelessly to make sure that I was an informed customer. I explained what I was looking for he did his absolute best to accommodate both my tech needs and my price point. Good customer service is hard to find but Aaron is golden. I am a happy customer!
This has been the best experience I’ve ever had with ATT. Harold helped me find a phone the perfect phone I wanted and even helped me save a bunch of money. I messed up my screen protector and he even put on the replacement for me. Super chill store and very helpful
Switching my phone to AT&T was the worse thing I couldve done. We traded in two perfectly good phones for which we were to receive a credit or a promotional card. Received a letter regarding one of the phones but never received the card. Now no one can help. Ive been sent back in forth between the Trade in Program Dept., the Rewards Dept. and the store. No body can track anything down and tell me what happened to my phones or why Im not receiving my credit. Will not recommend or do service with them again.
Got my galaxy S10 from here recently and I was very impressed with the level of service provided. I was helped by Samantha, she was lighthearted and gave me an excellent overview of the services available for my new phone. She was also patient in assisting me when we had problems with my credit card not authorizing my purchase.
Went in to this location after having a bad experience with the location on Independence. The salesman Patrick Young was very professional, informative, and had a sense of urgency about my time. Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with Brett signing up for Direct TV. He was professional, knowledgeable and very patient as I asked question after question. I had been looking at the different package choices and thought I had made up m mind on the one I wanted. Brett suggested going with a package with more channels and after listening to his reasoning it really made a lot of sense. I happily purchased the upgrade he recommended. I can definitely say that Brett made the whole process of purchasing Direct TV easy and simple. I had a great customer service experience and I want to be sure Brett knows how much he is appreciated. September 2019I went there to get new iPhone 11. I was told by Deandre that I could order and receive a phone in 10 days. Also, his Manager Patrick was there and agreed. I was hoping that Deandre who was great and was very good in customer service would get the commission. I anxiously waited for the pickup date. The Friday the iPhone 11 came out - I called and Deandre answered the phone. I asked him if my phone was ready and reminded him I’d come in Sunday. He replied that he has the phone there and it will be ready Sunday for pickup.Well, guess what/. I go on Sunday I waited for 32 minutes for Patrick to actually ask what I’m there for ... I told him I had a phone to pickup. He told me they sold it. I was confused and irritated. He then told me about 3 times - “oh just take the white one “.. nope I was told by his employee (twice) that the phone was there for me. I went to the ATT store on independence and I was done ✅ and finished with my new iPhone and back in my car in 31 minutes...I asked Patrick for his Manager’s number and name. I get the number and then Patrick says “don’t talk bad about me.” What?? I’m gonna call and express my disappointment and disapproval of your service.I called the District Manager and he just said they’ll make sure the employees are trained ...
It seems small and unimpressive as the newly refurbished stores, but makes up for it with friendly and knowledgeable staff.Was switching over from Verizon to ATT with my own phone, porting my number, and using prepaid plans. The staff ran the process so easily it seemed like they couldve done it in their sleep.You dont come to a phone store for over-friendly and enthusiastic conversations or be pitched all possible phones/plans, you come for competent customer service and satisfying results.Thats what I got, with a bit of relaxed friendliness in the air.Thanks guys!
I walked into the AT&T store located at 1909 Matthews Township Parkway on May 20,2020 after my short shift as a healthcare worker at Atrium Pineville. I arrived at 10:30 am in dire need of assistance to contact customer service regarding a suspension of my service. I encountered Aron, the store manager, alone in the store and proceeded to explain to him that I had spoken to an AT&T representative Monday, May 18th regarding my inability to pay my outstanding balance due to COVID-19 and a reduction in my work hours. I went from working greater than 50 hours a week to 5 to 15 hours. The rep was compassionate, caring and assured me my service would not be suspended. Aron asked for my driver’s license and I realized I had misplaced it and asked if he could use an alternate ID. He stated he would accept a passport. I informed him that I had a picture stored in my telephone of my driver’s license and passport which he did not accept. I drove home in the heavy rain, got my passport and returned. After Aron entered all info and then informed me I had to pay the outstanding balance before he could do anything else to help me. I pleaded with him to contact customer service to rectify the situation and Aron stated ”I do not have a live phone in the store”. I knew immediately he was lying because I have been an AT&T customer for more than 10 years and have witnessed store representatives contact customer service to problem solve, establish new service, etc. I then walked out of the store distressed with disconcerting feelings about Aron’s attitude. He was rude, uninterested in servicing his customer and clearly should not represent AT&T in any way, shape, form or fashion. He did not just do the right thing.. I believe it would be a service to me and other members of my community to have Aron replaced at the Matthews AT&T store.I have worked in healthcare for almost 15 years and everyday I take the time to listen to every patient’s story with compassion, empathy and I work to solve their problems to get them back home to their families.To you, Aron, should you or any of your loved ones require my services while in the hospital, I will just do the right thing and treat you the way I expected to be treated.I walked out of the store after my bad experience and drove to the AT&T store located at 6820 Matthews-Mint Hill Road where my experience was EXCEPTIONAL. I was met by Shawn and Jakyie who listened intently and sprang into action. Shawn contacted customer service, explained the problem, was on the call for up to 1 hour and finally, all was rectified. He even got AT&T to issue a $50 credit for my inconvenience and suspension of service. During this time Jakyie sprang into sales mode and convinced me to try AT&T fiber optic internet and TV service.Shawn and Jakyie thanked me for my service on the front lines during this pandemic and I thanked them profusely for their kindness. I’m very upset, I bought an iPhone phone here on March 20, 2020 for $ 599 on credit and they told me that I would pay $ 75 a month summary wireless plus phone (16$ per month), only the first month a little more than $ 120 in total. The first bill was $ 170 and the next 2 for $ 108. I have an ATT piece of paper on which the manager wrote me amounts that I will pay. I want to show to att head office and if there is no answer, then to the higher authorities to resolve this issue and demonstrate the ATT fraud. This is false information and I did not plan to pay as much.
Went here and got a new phone. Very welcoming staff and very easy process! Pat and Jessica were very helpful and nice! Definitely will be back.
Very friendly and knowledgeable people. -Not your run-of-the-mill wireless store. This store has the ability to assist consistently whether your are a consumer or business owner. Brett listens closely and cares to go the extra mile.

Visited the Matthews Festival store today and there was a man there that was covering to open the store for someone else who couldnt make it in. He was dealing with the alarm which resulted in the police coming and in the midst of all that he still managed to fix my issue for me. Amazing service. That man deserves a raise.
Ive been with AT&T sence 2010 however lately my phone service has been nothing but dropped calls and missed calls with no representative able to help me, Im unable to forward calls to a IP number.From my research it seems they have overloaded servers that send my calls automatically to voicemail.

The new Manager Patrick Young is not only a sorry excuse of a Manager but sorry excuse of a human being. I think he is uneducated and totally unprepared for the tasks of management. He has ZERO customer service ability. A true shame for your organization to have such a person managing-lol this store

Joseph was awesome. Very friendly, professional, patient and knowledgeable. I had walked in and out of so many AT&T stores. If your not familiar with all the different buddles, offers, etc, getting a new phone and service can be extremely stressful and overwhelming. But Joseph explained everything and was so nice and patient and made sure I was happy and had the right plan for me. Thanks!!
Brett is a great guy. I needed to replace my moms old phone and he was most helpful. He is very knowledge about iPhones, AT&T, and related services. He also has a strong shoe game. Rocking the Js was a plus for my experience. While the 4s are not my fav, I respect a kind hearted sneaker head.
I just visited the Mathews AT&T store today and I give them an A+ for their customer service and help. I won’t be using any other AT&T store in this area because of this. Try them, you will love them! Make sure you see Brett or Joe and they will take care of all your needs and save you money!!!!
I waited 30 minutes cause only one person was working for a return they would not honor because it was 2 days over the supposed return policy deadline, it was a charging cable, not a phone for heaven sake.
Employees will lie to your face to get a sale, but at least they wont ignore you

AT&T is a rip off! I cant remember the name of our sales person, but he did not disclose proper information. When we switched from Verizon to at&t, I told the sales guy (I cant remember his name, this was 2 years ago) that I wanted my bill to stay around $160 a month. He said he could make that happen... we got two new phones and two new mini ipads with a promotion going on (he said they were FREE) so we get our first bill of $160.. awesome! Im happy with that. Our next bill jumps up to $180, so I reach out to customer support and am told that the extra $20 on the bill is for the Ipads, $10 for each line... but wait, he said the Ipads were free, already paid taxes on them... now $270 total for our 2 yr contract... thats NOT free!!!! We were also not told that the phone contract we signed was for 30 months, not 24 months... I am just now finding this out because I am so done with at&t and I am ready to switch phone companies! I should also note that the data plan we were on which was 6gb was gotten rid of in the middle of our contract and that made our bill jump up again $10 more. Now my bill is over $200 a month, when it was supposed to be $160.00. I will pay the extra to get out of my contract at this point because I am done with at&t and I will continue to tell everyone not to go with their service!
After a horrible customer service experience at the AT&T location in Monroe, I tried the AT&T store in Matthews. This store is an authorized retailer, not a corporate store. It is smaller so I didn’t have much hope. I was thinking about canceling my account altogether, but then I met Dieu. He listened to me, and helped me with my problem right away—no appointment necessary. I even bought a new iPhone 8+. Dieu, made a point to greet customers when they walked in. He set up my new iPhone for me, and even put on the new screen protector in the store. Dieu is honest, helpful, friendly and enjoys helping people. Well worth your time to come to this location.
