Used to be on the family Dollar account love this distribution center always friendly and they try to get you in and out as soon as possible

Pretty fast unloading..cant complain. 7am appointment. Done at 8:30 8:45am. So lets get into the meat and potatoes.. the lady at the front guard shack beware.. she is very rude and somewhere along the line I believe somebody hurt her and she wants to take it out on everybody else.. I really want to say it but I cant because Im afraid the post will get pulled down.. she finally pushed me to a limit to where I snapped at her and I did some things that I wish I could take back but thats what you get when you push somebody to the Limit... I hope the lady that was rude and nasty reads this post and changes her life because I almost feel bad for her and especially her husband if this is what hes got to deal with on a daily basis..

Very rude distasteful customer service. I went to the store today and the young lady refused to change the price the price was incorrect on the shelf instead she stated that it was her own people (African Americans) are trying to cheat the store. If you would do your job and stop acting like trash with your hair sticking all over your head the price on the shelf would be correct.African Americans we are not the problem the price was clearly wrong. I will not visit this filthy rude establishment ever again.

I spent $100. Last week and $60. This week They did not give me my receipts, either time. I went back tonight & was told no, come back tomorrow how many times do I need to go back to the store on Broadway. In Albuquerque? May I please have my receipts????????? Thats not very nice! I give alot of buisness to this store. I have reason to believe,one of the employees are keeping receipts, so when he leaves at night he can shop for free.

Great staff...Terrible corporate support!If corporate would properly support their workers and location their store could be a goldmine. That said... If you cant manage to have inventory stocked for your store then just close it down..competitor is 1/2 mile away and the shelves are always full...

Note that BOTH handicap parking spaces at this store in Parkton, NC are occupied. Inside was worse. Spilled items that had obviously been there a while. Isles blocked so a wheelchair couldn’t pass, and some that a person on foot couldn’t get through. Just a nasty store…but the parking is a legal issue.

Store near me is alright! The employees are mature & cordial, greeting you sincerely as you enter the store. I have bought many household, laundry, personal items and food here. Never yet disappointed & confident that I saved money because I compare prices around town. Eight years a shopper at Family Dollar.

Your West Plains branch is a complete waste of space. Who told your manager to interrupt a funeral and threaten to tow any vehicle parked in your parking lot. That parking lot is ALWAYS EMPTY so those cars where not hurting your business. When the family went to talk to the manager he said your loss is not mu problem really? I have couponed at that store for years simply because they always have the items I want but never again. Neither will any of the other hundreds of couponers in the area. Good luck paying the bills from now on.

Albany st utica ny family dollar. Cashier and the other person behind the register was wearing a tank top and shorts. I took the bulky stuff out of my shopping cart the items were scanned and I put them in my cart. He accused me of not paying for these items. He told the cashier that they were not rung through I assure this man that i was check the list of items that were scanned. Then he started yelling screaming and using foul words. Other customers were in line they became uneasy. When he look at the receipt it should I paid for all the items. I told he never said Im sorry. Since when do people who work at this store wear shorts and a tank top. This guy needs to be fired.

Your assistant manager Joe at store #11630 assumed I was paying with food stamps bc Im black. I had 2 separate transactions, one was apple juice and stool softener and the other was laundry detergent.. he said if youre paying with food stamps, itll automatically separate it. Didnt even make sense bc one transaction by itself had food and non food items, my second transaction had no foot items. Never going there again! He tells that to the right person and their response wont be as gentle as mine.

They were very nice there. The process of dropping and hooking was simple. The all trucks here sign is good, but the Family Dollar sign needs to be lit up at night for first time delivery. Overall,I had a great experience there.

I was waiting in line to checkout the items I was purchasing and I was sprayed in the face by an automatic air freshener sprayer that was placed not even 3 feet from the register. This happened in the Marietta Ga store at 1605 Austell Rd SW. I immediately began coughing from inhaling the areosol. I was told only the manager can do an incident/injury report. The next day my throat was irritated and swollen, even after I rinsed my mouth out tried to clear my throat of the areosol the night before. My condition got worse and had to seek medical attention. Turns out I am having an allergic reaction to the areosol that was inhaled from being sprayed in my face. None of the employees wanted to complete an incident/injury report. I have reached out to corporate office and I still havent heard anything back from them. My throat and pharinx is still swollen. Ive had to miss work and take steroids and magic mouthwash just to be able to eat, drink and speak. Ive missed work and my throat is on fire! I reached out to the local District Manager and still no one has gotten back to me yet. I have pictures of the hazards in the store and the air freshener sprayer that sprayed me in my face. I emailed several people in the corporate office and I have yet to get a response from anyone. I have been taking pictures of my throat and documenting my progress. Its been 8 days since this has happened and I dont feel much better. I really need someone from their corporate office to contact me.

The pics below show the condition of the coolers at the Family Dollar Store located at 10008 US-165N Sterlington, LA 71280. I do not go in the store because it is so dirty unless it is necessary. It is very convenient to my home but I only buy products that are non perishable.

I used to frequent the Fam Dollar on Jensenave in Fresno 93706. Why is it EVERYTIME I find something on AD posted with that brand they are advertising, its never the right product, size, something. This causes delays when standing in line waiting to pay and your Assistant managers responds,,You have the wrong size and the product is the same brand . Why does Family Dollar hire such incompetant workers. Why cant they put the sign in the right place...or is it that your pushing your regualar priced items instead. And as the manager said, well Its not my fault. So is it your customers fault.?I will start driving a couple more miles up the road and stop at a business thT STANDS BEHIND THEIR ADS!!!!!

2303 Westinghouse Blvd Charlotte NC. The Manager is very disrespectful. I understand that we are in a pandemic and I ran to the store while it was pouring rain. I forgot my mask and I politely asked him that I needed a mask 😷 to shop there because my mask was in the car on the other side of the parking lot. So the manager told me that he was the manager of the store and if I wanted a mask I would need to purchase one. I still said can I cover my face with my shirt 👕 he said that I can get whatever I was shopping for BUT HE WASNT GOING TO RING ME UP. In a mad tone. 😠 So basically I walked out of the store and took my money 💰 somewhere else. I told my wife never again. My family will never shopping there again. Food Lion will appreciate that. I purchased some cereal from the store located at 1016 South Main St, Greer, SC. The box had a date of Man 8/2022, bit upon eating the cereal they were stale. Went back to the store that morning to return and get a new box, the worker told me he could t help me. Refused to.provide me with a new box. Didnt want a refund only a new box because the cereal was stale. Called corporate they were closed. Due to this incident and his unprofessioanlism I will not shop here any linger and will inform my community. Wahts wrong with replacing a box, heck I didnt come in rude. Nor was I demanding. I politely walked out called corporate and left and review.

I got in and out with no problem, the evening guard was very polite and had no problem talking since no one else was around. This location does suck at night to get trailers backed into a spot so be careful

I was not able to pack in the Handicapped area because your store manager was there.I did park and go and and the lady there told me it was the managers car.. I left the store and took the pictures. He shows NO regards for his customers .. And while I was there the little car in one of the pictures was also a Handicapped Lady whom had to park behind his car She was using a cane to help her walk..I posted it on Facebook also.. And will take the pictures to the Police department....If this is a example of your Managers in charge of a Store, They set a very bad example for The Store And The Company..Just so you know I use to Manage Dollar General Stores in Ga... I arrived at 08:10 for a 09:00 delivery appt on a Wednesday morning. The street entrance is well marked for trucks, if the signage is not being blocked by outbound trucks. Check-in process is not very efficient, but the gal at the guard shack was friendly. Second driver check-in at office on the north side of bldg is outdated and dingy. Got to the dock at 08:50. Lumper service was prepaid by shipper, so I didn’t have to deal with that. Trlr was a mess when done unloading. Departed at 11:17. No restrooms for drivers, no parking on site.

I just left the Menasha Family Dollar on Appleton Road and witnessed your cashier Lorie doing something amazing. A special needs woman needed major help with her transactions. Lories patience and kindness were incredible. We need more people like her in the world. I left the store crying knowing that people on the world really care! She is incredible.

Family dollar on Broadway,Its bad enough that the staff is rude, but now they have been closed ALL day. Its 5:30 pm and my first attempt started at 11am. There are people in the store yet the door is locked, plus they wont pick up the phone. Booo FD!!!

I tried to use the app to get discounts and the discounts would not show up on the app I asked the manager if she could help me because he was clearly marked on the shelf that it would be for that price with the yeah she looked at my phone and tried to pull up the discounts and said that she could not do anything about it that I would have to contact corporate I now have been on the phone with corporate for 1 hour and 2 minutes and they still have not answered and I keep hearing elevator music and did you know you can contact a customer care representative by email what so that they cant respond to my email if theyre waiting this long to answer my phone call to talk to corporate Im really upset I cant believe that corporate have an app that coincides with the apps that they put in paper but yet you have to use the app to get that discount and its not coming up its bologna attached are pictures of the items I was trying to purchase

A few months ago I purchased some nail polish which didnt ring up the sale price. The clerk changed it for which I was pleased. Today I went in the Fallon, Nv Family Dollar store & attempted to purchase nail polish again & some other items for which the nail polish once again didnt ring up the sale sticker price of 88cents. I told the clerk the sale sign says 88cents. She went to look & came back with the sticker in hand saying itd expired on April 4th. I asked her, are you not going to honor the price? to which she replied it was beyond her control/ I thought BOLOGNA! I told her I would not be purchasing anything at all & left. I will never shop at a Family Dollar tree again.

So many people are frustrated that the Amery store closed at random times during the day to unload trycks. The store is usually a disaster, dirty floors, carts full of items in the isles so its hard to navigate them. I know some people were hoping with new management this would all change or they will drive out if their way to go to Turtle Lake, Balsam Lake or any other family dollar or just stop going to family dollar all together

The corporate office is just plain rude, like the local store in Alabama! I placed an order on 2/02/2021. Got an email saying I can pick it up 2/23/2021. I go to the store on 2/24/2021 & my order is no where to be found. I return 3 day’s in a row, nothing. I called corporate to get a refund. Just to be on hold for over an hour!

I found their customer service to be extremely call mind and hopeful they were very patient with me in the store helping me to find things that I haven’t been out to search for myself in months due to being sick how he was the nighttime manager that was there and the way I heard him say he had a long drive home he was more than patient with Me as I shot I would definitely go back while him and Sheldon are working call to have a pleasant shopping trip

Family Dollar has gone so far down hill Im not sure they can get back!! The staff off of Arrowood behind the Zaxbys in Charlotte is just downright awful!! Ive had things on sale that once at the register, has mysteriously been put in the wrong place, according to management. Some are better than others but the store is always cluttered and just a mess!! Its very disappointing to draw a conclusion on why the store is handled & look this way!! The store I go to stores bleach and ammonia right next to each other. My experiences have been fine, but the lingering danger of mustard gas killing me is definitely not a positive store interaction.

Store on 9th avenue in Huntington West Virginia constantly closes earlier than the store hours, closed at 8 last night, around 15 people standing outside waiting to get in and the employees wouldn’t have Ben come and say were closed, no sign. Went inside to day and ask manager why they close all the time 1-2 hours early, he said well we closing at 6 tonight. Management needs retraining desperately.

Family Dollar off Westinghouse Blvd in Charlotte NC the store manager may need more training. I made a $80 purchase but some items was on sale I brought that to her attention and instead of asking how I wanted my refund she took it upon herself to give me a gift card!! First off I didnt purchase my items on a gift card she should have refunded me back on my CARD!!! I asked why she didnt ask me first she responded by saying I dont know how to fix it and its only $6.97...THATS NOT THE POINT!!! Whos to say I wanted to come back and give Family Dollar my $6.97 back!!!! VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

While shopping there was no one around to help when I finally found someone she was on the phone with both ears closed off with pods two people asked where an item was and she didn’t hear them because she has EarPods in her ears talking on the phone! She doesn’t give receipts she just leaves them on the register for you to get yourself! She is always there however she has no etiquette whatsoever! Just watched the manager completely make fun of an older lady. Then when she was checking her out she made this older lady wait while she was texting on her sell phone. The manager then finishes the check out but refuses to give the balance due! I spoke up about the miss treatment and when it was my turn to check out she tossed the receipt at me.

I see so many bad reviews that this one is likely to get caught in the shuffle. I purchased products on the website almost a month ago. Received the email receipt with the date for pick-up. Called the store to check the availability of the product and was told that it had not shipped. I have gone to the store 4 times and called about the same - both to corporate and the local sore where it shipped. No results and to add insult to injury, they claim not to know how to refund me my money. It is absolutely ridiculous what customer service and simple business etiquette has come to. One wonders why consumers are finding other places to put their dollar. Its an absolute disgrace and its a mistake that I wont make twice.

I had recently been employed for one day. Working off the clock which is against the law. Worked 7.5 hours. And was told by the manager here in Willcox Arizona. Her name is Florence and she had told me 3 weeks ago that my check was sent off. To this very day I havent seen anything yet. Then the district manager Yati called me and asked for some of my info so I can get paid and still havent gotten anything. Im waiting to hear back on my check and if Im rehireable to work full time. Family dollar on American & Allegheny in Philadelphia is a disaster waiting to happen. They have a homeless leaving on there property. Hes so comfortable hes even put up a fence marking off his area. Family Dollar on Copley Rd. in Akron will probably be closing soon,....the last three months they have been plagued with (1) No shopping bags!!!!, (2)...NO SHOPPING CARTS!!!!,...this is a receipt for economic disaster!!,....the Better Business Bureau and our city councilman have been informed of this and the impending doom of this store,...the effects on the tax base will be easily calculateable... another empty building in the community 😶

No one ever answers the phone at Dollar way store or corporate. Employee at Dollar way had her mask under her chin. She coughed and a delivery person reminder her that she didnt have her mask over her mouth when she coughed. She still didnt put it on! I had two contacts with this employee. I asked wheres your batteries? She didnt answer, she just pointed. I was in another isle and I thought she was going to run me over with the rolling ladder, never said excuse me. She is a Black female, sorry I didnt get her name, but I didnt want to get close to her since she didnt have on a mask. Maybe I should have called the police, since there is an enforced Ordinance in Jefferson County.

I shop at store #3147 in Rome, NY. Due to COVID I haven’t shopped there in several months.When I went in yesterday, November 5th around 2:30 pm. I had to walk through two employees that were smoking to enter the store. I found this unacceptable. In addition they were discussing a shopper that had been unhappy with her experience in a loud boisterous manner for all to hear.As usual I was able to find all the products I needed. Unfortunately I forgot my own bags. The cashier neglected to ask if I wanted to buy some bags. She just went ahead and charged me.I realize that due to COVID the selection of hiring staff is daunting for employers. I will continue to shop at this store since it’s close to my home. This pertains to store #11912 and now it pertains to your corporate office too. Last Thursday I bought a bag of cat food at the above mentioned store. The receipt says AF HLTH ESST DRY CAT FOOD 12 LBS. On Friday morning I opened the bag, dumped it into my air tight container, then filled two bowls for my colony cats. They would not eat this food. It sat in their bowls for two days. I poured the rest of the cat food into a garbage bag and returned to the store with the receipt. Was told she couldnt refund my money because I didnt have the package it came in. I asked for a manager. She WAS the manager. I wasnt even asking for a refund, just store credit towards another brand of cat food. Got home. Googled corporate office. Called. First call waited on hold for 10 minutes. Hung up. Called back, chose a different option, waited on hold for 8 more minutes. Hung up. What kind of corporate office are you running over there? And why would you not give me store credit for cat food that was so awful that a bunch of feral cats wouldnt eat it. Why would you not stand behind a product you sell? Why would you not try to make it right with a customer who is in your store twice a week? Your manager needs to check her attitude. And someone seriously needs to answer the damn phones at your corporate office! I am really fed up and pretty angry. I doubt Ill shop at that store any more.

Cashier in Yoakum Texas store refuse to sell me what I took up to counter. She asked if I had a mask and I told her no because I can’t wear them. She was discriminating against a person with medical reason that can’t wear a mask... she tells me it is policy but most stores are aware that some cannot wear a mask. I go in other stores with no issues without a mask. Will never do business at these stores again.

Yet that they do not accept returns or offer refunds on ANYTHING due to covid. That you should know based on a worn out piece of paper thats UNDER where all the bagged groceries are placed so you never see it. They have a policy that gets them out of offering refunds because of the seriousness of the virus, but dont cover their spit holes. NM-11 Columbus NM

I would like someone from corporate to contact me. Before the store gets turned in to the Kansas Department of Health & Environment. 1313 SW 21st is disgusting. Management blames employees. She advised they dont want to work. SHES THE MANAGER. IF I DONT HEAR FROM ANYONE. Thats what I will do.

My area has 3 Family Dollar stores and each one is worse than the next, starting with the nasty parking lot into the store. Nasty attitude staff, one manager threaten to slap the SH_it out of someone she knew that may have been her boyfriend or husband while customers standing in line waiting on the 1 slow cashier being stressed out and probably under paid. Products in store are few or sitting in the aisle in boxes items on shelf no rhyme or reason, or concern for neatness. Get your act together and hire people who take their job and the store seriously including the customers who are attempting to buy products there in order to pay your and others salary! Sickening

Ive been there a bunch of times the family dollar in dracut and they have been closing when they feel like it,its 845 now closed when they are open til 9 this has been happening alot lately,if u are closed then post it

The attitudes of the clerks were awful. I was standing at counter to ask a question, clerk looked at me and shook her head at me. I asked her what was wrong? She replied that she wasnt open. I asked youre not open for me to ask a question? She answered yes rudely. Second cashier that waited on me just rang up purchase, no thank you, nothing after waiting five minutes for her to come to register. Another customer was waiting behind me. He asked whats going on here? Thats when she came to wait on us. Store # 05646.

At the Family Dollar in Mankato MN the cashier shouted across the store that I needed a mask. When the entire store realized she was shouting at me, another customer grabbed my attention. I responded by telling the employee that I had a medical reason for not wearing a mask and if she had any idea as to why she was bullying me to wear a mask hers would be covering her nose.Another person, not in fd uniform began following me around the store accusing me of trying to steal an item that I picked up and removed plastic that was already falling off. I told the woman she was being rude and she wanted me to explain how she was the rude one. I gathered my teenage children, who were wearing masks, and left disgusted with the behavior of the employees here.

Just to let you guys know employees have no lunch or break room the store I worked at in Wilmington nc we also had no fridge we had to put our food and drinks in the same fridge that customer went in I worked for a month n havent been paid Ive called the manager n she said call HR I called 17 times one time I was able to get n answer after I told her the deal she hung up employees also do not get a ten minute break they say its not a law I will never purchase a thing from this company hope they read this and PAY me DROSE market st Wilmington nc

The manger very unprofessional rude this young lady does not need to work with the public and corporate need to send a secret shoper ask a question and you will see. Also they hide items for them self.that the public need. 2117 w center street. Family dollar in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Like for example a truck load of items came in today .but would not let people buy what they needed.and once again no sign was posted on a limit.pleade look into this problem.thanks.

The manager at store #12273 on 13239 Hiram Clarke Rd hollered at me about taking a basket outside. I didnt know that was a policy and was not offer any help with my purchase at the time of check out. Instead he hollered at me which was rude. Then tell me that people steal baskets.Well, Im not a thief just a paying customer that will not be back! If the corporate office read this, customer service training is desperately needed for all your employees. Meanwhile I will take my business to another store.

Oh my gosh District Manager Stewart was so ignorant and rude for me complaining it was like his way to get me off the phone was to insult me .

No one working nor many customers were wearing masks. The cashier who waited on us had hers under her chin. When I asked,she and the assistant manager were very rude and stated they dont enforce the mask rule. I then returned home and called the store for corporate number and shawn, the assistant manager told me I would have to Google it,that he would not give it to me. I will not return and i hope others follow my lead. The particular store is in Three Oaks,Michigan.

What tipe manager have this store everytime come to buy something the trashcan is like that and inside the store the floor is nasty like them dont have cleaning supplies for the store and they always are on the phone

Family Dollar employees takes pride in humiliating its customers. You hear other shoppers saying I hate to come to this store and how the staff doesnt want to work. The lines are continually long, reaching around the last isle of the store. When customers start complaining about the long lines, the workers become angry and yell at the customers to hurry up. Its like their dealing with children and not grown people. The Family Dollar located on the corner of NW 183 Street and 17 Avenue in Miami Gardens, Florida, is the worst. Last night, you should have seen the long lines, whereas, customers were shouting that another line be opened. The fat worker behind the counter slammed the register and was so mad because she had to work. What a mess! They say Family Dollar doesnt value its customers since the majority of them are minorities.

Went to the one here in Dunkirk In wanting to buy an item went to the register to pay for it only to be told I couldnt buy it because it was clearened! If something Is out for purchase people should be able to buy it if they dont want people buying an item take it in the back where people arent mislead thinking they can buy it. Then of course when I asked the cashier why I couldnt purchase the item I was told that they didnt have time to take it off the floor and they was throwing it away! It was earrings! Why would they rather throw it away instead of selling it?

I was shopping at family dollar in Blue Hill Maine... The sign on the item said buy one get one half off. I bought two.The items came up full price ...I explained the deal on the signThe salesman didn’t believe me.I showed him the sign... he read it .. ripped it off the wall and told me he couldn’t override the cash register.I asked to see the manager.. he said he WAS THE MANAGER and he was done talking to me.Shocked I said I would contact corporate ... he snarled, “ Go ahead I am done with you.”I have NEVER been treated poorly in a store in the past 65 years of shopping.This is a disgrace !

I gave 2 stars because they are friendly. Sign on the door says mask required. Not one employee wearing a mask. When asked why, because of health conditions. Most employees can be found outside smoking . Thats not healthy. Confusing by all means.
