Mayaguez mall store- very quick appointment and no waiting time. Eye exam doctor was very unprofessional making fun of my poor eyesight during the test. Lenscrafters sales staff decidedly unpleasant and refused to give me the PD measurement unless I bought a frame right then and there. I had to threaten them with a call to customer service to get them to give me the measurement. Manager called me a liar for saying I had got one before from the Plaza Las Americas store. Ridiculous…Ive been using Lenscrafters for my prescriptions and frames for over 10 years. Never coming back.

The overall experience was great. The doctor who did the eye exam was on point in his evaluation and performed the necessary steps. When I get the glasses I will know if the evaluation was done correctly. As for the choosing and ordering a complete set of prescription glasses.......Wilma (the sales lady) was great. She was cordially and helpful without being over bearing. She gave the opportunity for my family and I to decide what was the best frame we liked and then explained the add-ons and the final costs. She was friendly and a great asset to Lenscrafters! I also want to point out that your selection of frames was excellent and the costs were very affordable. This is the 5th pair I have bought from Lenscrafters over the past 15 years, all from this shop in Mayaguez, PR. There is a high chance I will return for another in the future as well!

Everything was perfect until the end when the employee treated me disparagingly. He was patient when it came to charging me, I applaud that, but a comment from him left a bad taste in my mouth. I was going out with my comadre to eat, and I didnt want to choose glasses at that time. She told me that I have been with these for 2 years, to which I replied that I was not going to do it at that time since the recipe was the same, it is not urgent. He said and the scratches? in a slightly mocking way. I showed him how well cared for I have them, they are not grated (they have anti-scratch protection, very good), nor scattered, they are sharp. I proceeded to remove the fogging with my blouse and there came his derogatory comment of yes, I see how well you take care of them. It was too much since she saw the condition of my lenses, no matter how I decide to remove the fogging, it cannot be denied that they are without grating in 2 years of use. I went yesterday to order 2 new glasses from another supplier who treated me wonderfully and confirmed the condition of my glasses, which I will continue to use as recommended by the doctor since I continue with the same prescription
