A lot options for PC parts. You can find them there. Much better than best buy. Also they offer many service for reasonable price. I love all employees from there, they guide me to pick which right product for me to build my own PC.
Please do not shop at micro Center. There customer service is the worst. For 4 days I’ve been trying to get a hold of someone at the mayfield Hts store and was told for 2 days in a row someone would return my call. No one has called. I wanted to make a $800.00 dollar purchase. But they have proven they don’t want my business. The problem is you have to call the corporate office and they transfer you to the store you want. I have never heard of a retail store not having there own phone number for customers to call. This is the customer service store from Hell. Plus if you get an employees card there’s no phone number on there to call either. HORRIBLE!!!!!!
Went in because the icons on my computer were not showing correctly and they were just beyond helpful. They were kind, fast and fixed the issue in a matter of minutes! This is an extremally typical experience that I have with Microcenter and its why I continually shop there.
Great store to find all your computer parts, or needs. Always have what we are looking for.
Shawn in the service department gave confidence to my adult daughter re her computer. She lives in Pittsburgh and had asked for help from several people who should have known .When she came to visit me, I recommended going to MicroCenter . And it was there that Shawn so knowledgeable, helped her to learn how to do the issue she was having. She came back so thrilled! He not only showed her but let her try the steps to the reverse the issue she was having.Thank you so much, Shawn!
I ordered a gaming laptop 9/26 with two day shipping for one they didn’t say i’d still have to wait 5-7 days i would’ve juss got regular shipping and even worse its been 7 days i still haven’t received any tracking or shipping details and then on top of thatttt i called they’re support number during the business hrs and NOONE IS AVAILABILE TO HELP
I live about 4 hours from the nearest Micro Center (Mayfield Heights Location) and drove here to experience the glory first hand. This was the best retail experience of my life due to the phenomenal customer service I had with Dan. He spent roughly two hours with me picking out and debating parts with me for my computer build and I couldn’t have been more thankful for his help. If you’re building a computer, see Dan! He was incredible.
Amazing shopping experience. Every section of the store had experts at your service. Very, very helpful. The best shopping experience I believe Ive ever had. And the prices are fair and they offer products to meet all budgets. Will make the 30 minute drive anytime I need computer parts, accessories and any other related products. 5 stars all day long. An experience youll never have purchasing online or anywhere else for that matter.
Love this store. Have been going for several years and always have a great experience. The staff is always helpful and courteous. In February I went in to out my latest computer build together and had some questions. Employee gave me some advice, gave me some alternative options to what I was going to build, and helped me find everything.Today, after a short wait before open, was able to finally get my hands on a rtx 3000 series card and it was a very painless experience.
Brought a laptop in for repair that Id only purchased a month ago. Justin (who is primarily a tech) was also an excellent salesperson. He weighed the amount of time it would have taken to see why the screen was not passing the color red, and he decided to speak with his manager about getting me a new laptop. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. So pleased to see excellent customer service offered. Way to go, Justin! Way to go, Microcenter! A++
Great sales rep and very knowledgeable. I tell them what I want they guide to what I need. I only gave 3 stars because the tech I went to see for help from was condescending and was rude. Also they were a week out in repairs with 70 PCs to check out Micro Center should not take on more they can chew but that’s their choice.
Truly an electronics superstore. I was not able to find any of the GTX 30 Series or Radeon 6000 here but as of 2020 you cant find them anywhere. Though the store does sometimes get them in but I assume you have to be there at opening time given that I live three hours away I am not up for the task. Doesnt matter found a graphics card for a reasonable price as well as the other components to upgrade my pc. Staff is very knowledgeableand the prices are reasonable. You can find pretty much anything you need for your computer.EditI was actually able to get a 30 series here but I got lucky
If you need computer parts there is no better place to go. This store is awesome. The employees are more than helpful and knowledgeable.
Love this store, so many cool things to choose from,
They always have a great selection. I ordered on line and just went to the counter for pickup. So easy.
Outstanding knowledgeable service. The sales associates are friendly, great at explaining technical details in easily understandable terms.Highly recommended
The best computer/tech store in all of NE ohio. just picked up a gaming laptop (at a great price) and then they cut the price a day later by $100. i contacted them and they refunded me $100 pretty much no questions asked. theres a reason everyone goes here
Going here was like traveling back in time but with all of todays gadgets. Love it and wish I had more time to look around. Will definitely be back
Wish my small city had this! Or even 1/25th of the nerd goods u can find here..can spend days in here..finding open box and clearance is the way to go 🙃
Can your staff update the status of products listed on the website? I tried to reserve order a product that was listed as In Stock but promptly got an email saying the product wasnt in stock. This would be great for your customers who live far from the store.
Excellent staff expertise! Usually have the product youre looking for. Quick in and out!
I went into Micro Center for a RTX3060 and instead of that they yelled at me for wearing my, My Little Pony onesie.
Best place to go for computer parts.
Lately, the customer service has tanked at Microcenter. I purchased a refurbished PC two years ago which failed recently. The cost of repair was high so I bought another refurbished PC hoping to get a price break for the bad experience I had with the first one. But the manager refused to give me any break. I do not recommend buying refurbished items there unless you wish to fork over hefty fees for extended warranty. Also, dont believe the vendors response to contact customer service. It is just the PR thing and they do not care to respond to any such enquiry or complaints.
Micro Center was great. Assistance was A1. It also felt good to visit again. Its been 13 years
My sales representative, Julie was so nice and professional. She was so helpful.
Was great. The sales people directed me to exactly what I needed and also helped me get a deal on protecting the products I got here. Definitely my main store to buy any hardware or software for PCs or even all parts to build a PC.
Always a nice place for computers & parts to build your own.Very helpfull!
A geeks wet dream. Really busy took some time to get help but better late than never. Will definitely be going back.
Salesperson were exceptional; very helpful in answering questions and locating products. Check out was fast and easy.
Just about any computer part or system can found here. New, used, and repairs available. Clean store with many well informed employees to answer your questions. Many different sections in the store so you can have help in a specific area or finding a specific part/thing. Restrooms available and clean but quite old and in need of updating and improvements.
Generally the prices for computer parts are the most competitive you would find anywhere. I’m talking 25% under just about anywhere else which is awesome if you’re on a tight budget. The prices for other miscellaneous electronics is usually about the same price as amazon or Newegg which is fine but as of late the computer parts prices are honestly insane. A graphics card with a recommended selling price of $999 from the manufacturer is being priced around $2,500. Now it’s not entirely the fault of micro center with the 25% import tariff and partner cards costing more but that does not correlate to a 2.5x price increase. I know there’s an extraordinary demand for the latest graphics cards and they are commonly scalped to be resold but to basically just remove the middleman markup and scalp your customers directly seems like a poor, a** backwards way to do business, especially for a company the size of micro center.
I love this place. Ive been going since they opened 30 years ago. Everything you need for computers is here.
Very good experience! Our sales associate actually showed me a laptop that was less expensive than I had planned for. He asked enough questions to know it was a better fit for what I need to do!
Pretty good place. Nice employees
Its like New Egg but I can get the part today. Prices are good. I can find what I need to repair my computer. I never realized they had a child toy selection
I accidentally shattered my laptop screen they were able to replace it within a reasonable amount of time. Customer service is always exceptional!! Will forever do business with them
I worked with Phil quite a bit here, and had questions answered extremely thoroughly. The other guys in the pc parts dept were amazing too, and very knowledgable. Highly recommend this store both on pricing and their staff.
Best Computer store for the entire area and surrounding states even. They always have great deals and products. On my last visit, I was greeted by the manager who just wanted to thank me for shopping. Such a nice staff. They offer a credit card as well (creditor is Wells Fargo I think). I have been very happy with my Micro Center cc, because they allow me to pay off bills over 6 months with 0 interest. Im not sure if thats the standard deal, but it sure is convenient in this day and age.
This is what Best Buy wishes they were. If Microcenter doesnt have it, it probably doesnt exist. Or if it does you dont want it. All that and the sales staff is actually helpful and knowledgeable. Prices arent bad either.Just dont expect it to be quick. You will shake hands with at least two managers for every $500 you spend.
This is my favorite store in Cleveland. It is a true treasure. They have anything that anyone could need electronics wise. Perfect place for someone who likes to build their own electronic devices and computers because they have tons of supplies for sale. They also have a huge selection of printers, computers, cameras, video game counsels, and accessories. The staff is super helpful too. Keep up the good work!
Great store even if youre not deep into the world of computers. Ive never had a poor interaction with staff. They also have the soda Bawls which is worth a try every time!
Associates are helpful and knowledgeable. Pricing on most stuff is good, even better than the blue store.
Drove 40 minutes to shop for a computer. No help available in Build Your Own PC. Poor guy swamped. Many people waiting. Many people. Complete waste of my time. Doubt Ill ever go again, to far to take the chance. Bought my last two computers here plus parts.
There are places online where you can get products cheaper, but this place has everything a computer or tech enthusiast needs all in one place. I love Microcenter
This is a great store. Staff is very helpful and very knowledgeable! They didnt have what I was looking for but that didnt stop them from helping me find what i needed.
We are so lucky to have a place like this nearby. With everything you can think of from a computer and technology perspective, its amazing to have a place where you can go and see things first hand, talk to a knowledgeable team member and get advice for your project or build. I love this place and will go back as often as possible.
Never a bad experience here. For the volume of items here...IT NEVER LOOKS CLUTTERED and everyone know where everything is.
Always a great experience. Very knowledgeable staff and will steer you in the right direction while keeping your budget in mind. Cant recommend them enough.
I was in recently in to scope out which parts i could buy in person rather than order online & was kindly greeted by staff until I was approached by a man named “John” who when I told him I was just browsing today he made a smart aleck reply saying “thanks for ‘JUST’ coming in, really helps keeps the lights on”. Great experience just be careful if you want to go check out what products they actually have in stock without just blindly handing them your money. Hopefully all the employees aren’t like John & funny enough I still ended up spending $300 that day & brought my friend in for his $40 pc diagnostic, so YOU’RE WELCOME JOHN, glad i could help keep the lights on :)
I sure hope this place stays in business its very handy
Major computer store! This is a dream stop for most Geeks! If you are looking for something in particular, please consider checking here. The only down side is their pricing is average. What they carry is priced about what any other major retailer is selling it for. On the bright side, their customer service is awesome!
Pssttt! Heres a secret, sign up for their emails! The free items via email always get me in the store but the customer service keeps me! While everyone always thinks about the big box retailers for electronics I always find a good deal here.Best kept secret for finding hot holiday electronics. Ive found Apple airpods that were sold out everywhere, tvs etc. All at cheaper prices than other retailers. Order online pick up in store has been a life saver also. Worth trying.Dont sleep on Microcenter!
If you want or need anything elctronic they will have it.
The best electronics store Ive ever been to. Anything you can ever want
Best place in Ohio to buy electronics.
Pretty good selection for some niche items, and a more trustworthy supply chain than Amazon.
My goto for all my electronics and geekery needs
I always have a good experience at this Micro Center Location. I went in to look at some phone stands, but ended up browsing the 3D printers and their smart home gadgets. I was greeted and helped by a very nice gentleman who pointed me in the direction of what I needed. As I was checking out I used a coupon that I had to get a free 16Gb flash drive or SD card. I chose a micro SD card. Always great service from this store.
The store is great but the employees are horrible. My wife and 2 year old daughter were followed through the entire store as if they were going to steal something and all they were doing was looking around for printer ink! This is inapp6and unacceptable by any means. This was their first time ever going to the store period. My wife came home and told me and I wanted to go there and give them a piece of my mind but Im doing this instead. Its situations like this that get innocent people locked up and killed!! CLEAN UP YOUR ACT PEOPLE! WE HAVE TO DO Better in order to be better!
Excellent customer service, smiles, professionalism and cleanliness as soon as you walk in the door only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because they recently got rid of their call center so there is no way to call the store only email them which I would say is a inconvenience for someone trying to find out a question instead of having to travel to the store in person or wait for a email which could take days perhaps.
I was here because to find a new PSU for my sons computer. I received an excellent recommendation by the employee whod helped me.
Love coming here. The staff is always so helpful and there are always great choices and prices. Worth the 6 hour round trip for me.Edit 2/19: it’s been almost a year since my last visit, and I can say they have stayed amazing. Even during the pandemic, I enjoyed my trip. This time for a rig with a 3080 new monitor and some other things. Super helpful when I had questions. Love going there, even though they always drain my wallet. Lol
Good technical service. Thanks!
This place is amazing. I took my computer in to get fixed and the technician was able to boot up the computer and fix the problem within minutes with no charge (Just needed to make a change in Bios). I also bought a computer here and realized it wasnt the right fit for me-much too large. The return process was extremely easy. No one here tried to sell me anything either. I was looking to get an antenna to get local tv channels and they said none of the ones in store would likely get me the range I needed. I saved so much time, energy, and money by going here.
Sales people were very knowledgeable
Great store, great staff, love it Everytime I go
Great place for computer parts. You don’t have to worry about having expensive parts shipped in the mail.
These guys do a wonderful job of providing information and helping make selections for your individual needs. I use the Mayfield Heights, OH location. I would not consider myself a computer guy and they help make the decisions simple and easy. I purchase all my business and personal computer products here. My most recent purchase was handled by Justin and he kept me updated on the back order status and was great to work with. They have a wide range of products and selection and I would recommend anyone go here for their computer / technology needs.
A way better store than Best Buy. Sales associates are very knowledgeable and helpful. The repair department knows their stuff unlike Geek Squad. Everything you need in terms of technology under one roof.
Micro Center has electric doors which are wide enough for 2 people to enter together, which is great for people with a disability. They carry everything a technician and DIY(er) would need. The employees know their stuff. I think you can trust what they say. I needed to buy cable for my home network the employee suggested I buy a cable reference book. That book saved me from a nervous break-down when I placed a repeater to close to my router, I need to extend the cable 40ft this book had all the information I needed. The store looks unorganized such ask the employee your question and let them do the shopping for you.
My husband loved it there. Wished we lived near there, but were on vacation when we went there.
I asked if they had a sonic sega graphics card, they said no, left in tears
Every time I go here the sales associate are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. If you have questions about anything techie, strongly advise you to go to Micro Center!
I had never been to a microcenter, because quite simply there are none near where I live within a 3 hour drive. But when I noticed I was near one while on a vacation through Ohio I decided to take 20 mins and drive over there. After 6 months of actively trying to get a GPU online (Amazon bot, BestBuy Drops, Zotac, everything...) I was able to get a 3070Ti first try. Don’t know if that was lucky or if after 6 months luck even exists, but thank you microcenter. Service was 5 stars, the workers helping were more then happy to help. I didn’t look for any other parts but saw many people getting assistance with buying them, so I know if I needed help they would have been right there. The last piece of the puzzle has been found, and I recommend that if you are still looking for a GPU to go to microcenter 100 times before trying a BestBuy drop. Thank you again!
Black Friday and I needed to get some network cables and adapters. Helpful person in the Apple section had an adapter then offered to go get the cables so I could get in the long line to check out. They were all set up for heavy business; the clerk told me everyone who works there was present. There was a bit of a wait as there often is but the line moved pretty quickly. Great experience today.
Great sale people; horrible managers. Just spent over $7K. Monitor stopped working after 60 days. Manager said I need to deal with ASUS direct since I didnt purchase protection from MicroCenter. I *USED TO* buy all of my business electronics there. Needed a new laptop this week also. I will now buy everything from Amazon as the process is cheaper and easier. Used local store because of individualized service....this is NOT the case anymore with MicroCenter. Store managers are too young to understand customer service. Dont complain about supporting local businesses if the business doesnt care about their customers. Bye Bye MicroCenter.
Okay so its not a bad idea of a store its a cool place and all however, its very crowded and poorly setup in my opinion. Another issue is the price of stuff. You can find the exact same parts for hundreds less (literally hundreds not an exaggeration) on sites like new egg. Otherwise the staff seemed okay and its a pretty cool store.
Seems to get larger and more complex over time. Folks are still really helpful.
Best place to get computer parts in the entire Cleveland area.
You can place an order online and pick it up from the store within 2 days of purchase. They will also send you a few reminder emails to pick up items. Once at store, just proceed to checkout and give them your name. Very easy!
This is my place of zen. My outer sanctum. My church. I love this place. I can build a computer on the fly or get a converter for my tv. I can upgrade my computer cas or buy a television. I can just go there and look around if I wanted to. Did I say I love this place? I love being around all the technology. Its a building made for nerds in a way.
Love this place but for some reason they completely hide their phone number so you can’t call them. Drove from Avon just for them to tell me I can’t return an item.
This is a really neat place. It has tons of neat equipment for building a computer or a gaming cabinet. The staff is extremely helpful and nice.
What can be said about this place? If you want tech products and dont have the time to order online, you go to Micro Center. This place makes Best Buy look like a kiosk in a dead mall. For computers/accessories, you should not go anywhere else.Incredible selection of tech and you can usually count on the item you wanted being in stock. The staff is always very helpful, chill, relaxed, and the best yet, non pushy. They will talk to you like a human being. The store is always in amazing condition, very clean and professional.Thank you, Micro Center! Keep up the great work.
The store is over crowded, cant get mobility carts around aisles, then when you mention it, the employees laugh and think its funny. I would like to know how they would feel not being able to walk
I have always had an amazing experience here; especially when dealing with any of the sales people in the PC parts departments. They are all very knowledgeable and Ive never had one steer me wrong while there (especially as Im a PC gaming hobbyist myself.) Not once have I felt unwelcome here.Always a pleasure walking into this store and spending double what I intended to spend.
My favorite store, most if the sales people are helpful. Worth the drive and merchandise is reliable. Warranty on items are awesome.
Although well equipment and knowledgeable they try to sell you things you dont want telling you its just as good sorry rtx 3070 is as good as a rtx 3080 or i7 10 gen vs i9 10 gen
The best place for any electronic need. I have been shopping at Microcenter for nearly 30 years, and the Mayfield, OH store does not disappoint.Microcenter has everything from components level resistors to high end televisions, top of the line laptops and desktops, and all the components to build your own PC. They also have a large variety of networking equipment, data storage solutions and every cable to connect it all together.Seriously, skip the other stores and the online stores, shop Microcenter first. Chances are they have it for the same or better price and you can get it today.
In the age of online sales and bloggers on technology, MC remains one of the few places you can go to be hands on. Decent prices, always something new to check out. Shop local!
Paul Wagner has got to the be the best employee I’ve ever come across here, he knows everything about 3D printing and helped me so much, GO PAUL!
Bought a refurbished Omen 25L pc and when I got home it did not have a power connector to plug into the wall and power the pc. I contacted customer support and they couldn’t even exchange the pc because it was the last one. They then suggested I come back in and PURCHASE one. It is insane that they would even suggest that when it should have been included with the product in the first place. I live over an hour away and paid over 1000 dollars for it. The support person then said a manager would be in contact within 48 hours. It has been over a week now. They don’t care that they sold a product that is practically useless without that one part. This experience has been beyond frustrating.
