The whole rating will be for customer service after the sell. I wasn’t happy because there is a leak somewhere around the driver side when it rains that is pretty bad, along with the windshield washer jug being busted (it worked on the test drive and then it didn’t, I thought it was out of water)and not holding water. Finally I told them wires were missing in the engine and his reply was basically sorry it was an as is sell. I now found out from the dealer that the diesel emissions has been deleted. So, buyer beware. If your local I would suggest getting a dealer to look at it and if you are from out of state just STAY AWAY

My experience in trying to work with this dealership was not great. They overpriced the KBB value for vehicle I was looking at purchasing and they were very unprofessional in their communication back and forth.I chose to go through another dealership and purchased a newer vehicle that was a four door with a better interest rate rather than the older, two door model I was looking at with Seay. They asked me if I went forward with another vehicle and I responded that I had. They then informed me that the 4 door option I went with was “cheaper”. That inspired me to write this review. Unless you want to buy from a dealership that thinks it is acceptable to insult you and lacks apparent knowledge of vehicle value, I would buy somewhere else.

When me and my husband were looking for a new vehicle we decided to get ahold of this dealership because of the great reviews and for the fact that they had a couple cars that we were interested in buying. My husband was talking to a guy named Chris Roberts about what kind of car we were wanting and was telling him about how we wanted to trade my old Mustang in for something newer. Everything was fine at first because Chris asked us to send pics of the Mustang along with the VIN and said that he would get back to us.. but he never did. So, we ended up going to a different dealership and buying a new vehicle with my trade-in instead. It just kinda sucks when you start moving forward towards purchasing a car at a dealership.. and then the dealership drops the ball without any explanation. Oh well, I’m extremely happy with my new car and you guys missed out on a sale.*And in response back to the owner*My husband never received any phone calls or texts after we sent Chris the pictures of the Mustang. Like I said, we did talk to him beforehand on the phone but he dropped the ball completely after we set him pics of my car and the VIN. That’s just really bad customer service not getting back with someone that is looking to buy a vehicle from you guys. I appreciate the apology but if we buy another car it will be from Wyatt Johnson. Purchased a used truck for my son. Brett gave us a good deal including a good price on our trade. It came with a 60 day 2k mile dealer warranty and we bought an extended warranty. We started having what we thought were transmission problems we thought would be covered by the extended warranty. Turns out it wasnt the transmission but it was missing badly because plugs, wires and coil packs were badly worn and needed to be replaced. This was not covered by the extended warranty and was going to cost $1,300. I called Brett and he referred me to Service Mgr. Howell Bean who talked to my mechanic. Even though they were under no obligation to do anything, they sent me a check for 1/2 the cost of the work. This is a stand-up group of folks! Truly great experience.

Although I didnt end up buying there because I wanted to go newer on my import for a longer warranty, these folks were excellent. I liked the no nonsense way of doing business and they were nice also. Ill be back for when my husband needs a car.

Drove 3 hours to look at a Wrangler. These guys were very courteous and didnt take advantage of the fact I drove that far. In the end, bought the Jeep and it drove great!

These guys were great! Quoted them the KBB price and they lowered their price to meet it!Bought a 2009 Honda Fit with almost 100K miles on it, and it runs like a dream. Had it for a month and absolutely no complaints.They overcharged (by design) a bit for the taxes, license, etc. just to make sure they didnt come up short, but sent me a check for the difference when I got my license plate.A good experience all around.

Me and my husband recently purchased a truck from Seay Motors in Mayfield KY and will never be doing business with them again. I urge everyone to rethink your decision before going to them. Within 8 days of purchasing the vehicle we have spent close to $5,000 in repairs with more to come. We have yet to even be able to put 150 miles on it since purchase and have owned it for 30 days now.Within 24 hours of purchasing the vehicle we started having problems with it. To date we have had to:-Replace the starter-Fix an oil leak-Replace the front drive shaftFront yoke-Replace the transfer case-no transfer grease-Purchase a new fuel lineWire harnessTransmission brain-Purchase a new transmission control module-Have an exhaust leak that has yet to be fixed (turbo pipe)-and have 3 tow bills (thus far)Front right axel needs replacedWhen contacting Seay Motors, with each incident, all they have to say is “I hate to hear that”. They have flat out refused to do anything on their part stating that they do not have to because they did not offer any type of warranty. While I understand we do not have a warranty with them, I also believe that is horrible business to sell a vehicle that breaks down 8 days later and still not driveable by 30 days and refuse to do anything to try and make it right. Not one time have they offered to do anything. Not only has this put a financial strain on us, but it has also left our family of 4 with only one working vehicle for the past month and for no telling how much longer.
