Very pleased with the faux fur i got! And the customer support was on point, i forgot to add one fabric to my order and it was resolved efficiently and without any hassle! Definitely will recommend this site to other people who have a need of faux fur! Even though its a little costly, because i live in EU, its definitely worth it!It truly feels like i am petting an animal thats been getting good care! It has silky yet very fluffy feel to it, which is just what i want!

I placed multiple orders for samples before placing my first online order. The photo shows the sample that I was sent and what I wanted. Instead I was shipped a hot pink fabric which was delivered on a roll with 2 other fabrics. This one was rolled on first and was hidden under the two other fabrics. I had to unroll 60 yards of fabric just to see if they shipped the wrong fabric. And It was the WRONG fabric! I contacted Big Z by phone and email and the asked me to send a photo. They admitted it was the wrong fabric and agreed to ship the correct one. The replacement fabric was shipped...however it was shipped to an address from an previous order and not to my last address that I used online. So long story short I never received the fabric and thought the fabric was stolen. Luckily, I retrieved the bolt from the post office. However, when I opened the fabric it was the WRONG fabric. It was a light pink (thinner fabric ) and the quality was not the same as the sample, I contacted Big z and now they are telling me it is the correct fabric. If you look at the sample you can clearly see that it is not the correct fabric. I am not a happy customer and really appreciate if they would have admitted their errors, apologize and tried their best to fix it. I have been waiting 30 + days for this fabric from my initial order which put my production behind. I really would appreciate some accountability and customer service. It was already so hard to find this particular pink fabric. The only reason I am writing this post is because I havent received a contact from a manager. At this point a manager should be contacting me to resolve this.

Its a bit hard to find No signage what so ever,its the last building on the end if coming in off Maywood, the young lady was Pleasant if you go in to shop have your list with discrimination and the item #, there pricing is ok but you can only purchase a 1 yard minimum, there selection is OKAY you cant really make deals not the same as Downtown LA shops so be prepared for that, there faux fur selection is pretty good but needs improvement as there was Zero Mink, Silver fox or any of the better furs that are popular, the quality was very good with the furs they have.

Ive ordered Fur and other fabrics from Big Z 7 times now! So far everything that has arrived has been exactly what I ordered and has arrived in the exact number of days that the shipping option I select tells me it will arrive when I place the order.The fur is AMAZING in quality, I have ordered from other fabric websites before and the fur from BigZ is by far the most dense, soft, vibrantly colored fur I have worked with. It is a Pain in the butt to shave because it is sooo dense, but the end result is beautiful, realistic, and well worth the effort it takes to shave.The only two things that make this drop from a 5 star to a 4 star are very minor things! On one order that I made the gold costume vinyl was damaged in a way that made it difficult but not impossible to work with, there was a bald patch in the middle of the vinyl where it looked like someone had put a piece of tape and then peeled it off.I contacted bigZ with photos the same day that I opened the box and they got back to me the next day. I had explained that I could not return the fabric due to the fact that I did need it for a commission that needed to be completed quickly. There was a little bit of debate as they had contacted their warehouse staff and their staff told them that they hadnt seen any damage before sending it out. I pointed out that the fabric had been folded with the damaged side facing in, so it would have been easily missed had they not unfolded it to check before sending. BigZ responded a second time that same day stating that they would be sending me a credit to make up for the damaged fabric. I received a 50% refund for the yard of fabric that was damaged, which I am happy with since I did end up keeping the fabric and a good 3/4ths of it was still usable.The only other thing that is a little bit sketchy is that I always select USPS when i choose shipping options, I even pay a little bit more for it sometimes just because I personally trust them more then I trust FedEX and UPS due to the number of times they have lost and or damaged my orders. Yet about half the time BigZ still sends my order Using FedEX. One of the times the package arrived in a ripped open and damaged envelope. However thankfully the swatches inside were not damaged though the paper they were glued to was a bit torn and was badly warped.This of course is not BigZs fault- it is Fedexs fault. But it makes me a little bit unhappy given that I selected USPS as my shipping option. So far thankfully non of my orders have been lost from BigZ but it makes me worry knowing that it has happened to me multiple times when getting orders through fedex before.

Price gouging! I ordered fabric from this company on Amazon.com. I emailed them twice to get a stats update on my order. After 2 months they responded saying they did not have the fabric in stock... Yet they had processed my payment immediately upon receiving my order. I told them to refund my money immediately. I went back online and within 5 minutes placed the same order at a higher price per yard with Big Z Fabrics on ebay. I received the fabric in 3 days. Big Z Fabrics placed misleading ads for fabric on several sites online.

I tried Big Z Fabrics after having a lot of customer service issues with a different company. When my order came I was VERY impressed with the quality of their long like fur! Even the tinsel fur was silky, a huge change from what I had been getting! They were out of one fur that I had wanted (sad face) but my money for that yard was quickly refunded. Shipping was also less expensive and quicker! So I will happily order more fabric from this company!

This is a great one stop shop for fabric. Sure its a bit pricey compared to the other neighboring vendors, but the quality and variety here is top-notch. This store is well organized, and if you sign up for their monthly newsletter or check out their website youll be in the know for their daily deals, including no tax day! FYI, they have a restroom! And dont forget- the Loft across the street is closed on Sundays.

If I could give this a negative review I would. I thought I was ordering 1 yard of 3 different fabrics. Instead, got 3 cards of sample pieces. They would not refund me OR give me a discount on the order I actually wanted. Clearly, customer service is not high on their priority list! Also, their online order process was definitely NOT clear about what I was getting. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!! WOULD NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!

I got everything I needed for my Halloween costume from here. Mike was super helpful and Ill be using them for all my other DIY projects now!

I bought 8 yards of velvet flocking for a medieval cape. I returned the fabric because it was not suitable for clothing. I changed my negative EBay review to (neutral) to suit this seller and filed a claim. Then I got an email authorizing my return for refund with a RMA# and mailed the fabric back with the USPS tracking number. (BTW I have been a City letter carrier for 29 years). Tracking info said business was closed and the carrier left a notice in mailbox on Dec. 7th. I ordered a re-delivery online with the USPS on the 17th, 18th, and 21st! Parcel is still not picked up by Big Z Fabrics on the 23rd. Yea, they could be closed for Christmas holiday (from the 7th through the 23rd? not likely)!! The original order cost me $70.00, then spent another $17. to mail it back to Big Z. Now EBay closed this return and I cannot change my review from neutral to negative.I have been a costumer in Orlando, Florida (Disney, Universal and Sea World and I donate my sewing skills/time to Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Fair) so I have many contacts in the costume world there, and here in west TN where I costume for Nashville and Memphis Ren Faires and the Celtic Society and local SCA groups. It is fair to say that my negative experience with Big Z Fabrics will impact my small costume world!
