I love this store of treasures!!! I cannot express it enough. I drive an hour to visit Amanda and never can leave without a bag filled with the most beautiful and unique items I cannot find anywhere else. She has this gift of choosing the sweetest treasures for my home. I have purchased signs, bottle toppers, salt and pepper shakers, placemats, decorative towels, and don’t get me started on all the amazing holiday decor from Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter. Thank you Amanda for helping me turn my house into a home. I pray this store has many, many more years of success. ❤️

I am very upset. Not by the item but how they purchased it for me. I didn’t have money on me so my friend offered to buy me something. I wanted to get this wax melter that was $28 (i have the tag for proof) and i picked out two wax melters. Im not sure how much the wax melters are but on the sign it say like 1 for something and 9 melters for $10 (im not for sure but thats what i saw) then we proceed to check out. Since the sign said 1 melter for like 1 dollar something i just told my friend i would get 2 wax melters to add up to 30. I totally did not check the receipt but when my friend checked she showed me and it said that the wax melter was $35 dollars i was shocked because the wax melter said 28. I get it with tax it might of added a dollar or two? But 7?? Come on. And then i check the wax melters and they put 2 wax melters for 15 dollars. Ma’am… thats more than yankee candle melts. Like omg- then the total comes out as 50- like excuse me? Girl I ain’t rich. Im paying 50? For one wax melter that i probably won’t use that much and two melts… what the heck.. please explain. Like i might be the problem here but they also made the receipt so hard to read. They put like an b and r mixed together idk what happened. Im not saying that the store didn’t have the cutest things in the earth im just concerned about the price :D because the tag to the wax melter clearly says 28 but then im paying 35 for the melter. Explain

Just happened to walk by it at Christmas. I needed nothing, and walked out with bags and bags of cute stuff for gifts and for myself! Now want to go back and look at the Spring stuff!

The Little Locust is such a cute gift shop in downtown Maywood. Amanda the owner, was so sweet and even wrapped my purchase even though it was a gift to myself. Unusual, resonably priced gift items, I really enjoyed looking around the shop, I will be going back in the future

This is the cutest little store in the heart of Maywood. Its a great place to treat yourself to a little gift or find a gift for someone else! Everything is great quality! You won’t be disappointed shopping here.

The Little Locust is exactly what Maywood needed!

Charming new store just steps from the Maywood Pancake House. From picture frames to novelties, this store has beautiful items that I have never seen elsewhere. Great prices and the owner is warm and friendly. I will definitely return for more items.
