I am a big Ford person. And was loyal to this dealership. However Rich, the sales manager here, is either complete incompetent or lacks any integrity or both. I had good truck experience one year ago, but that was D-plan defined price. Came back to help my son with new car purchase. Deal was done weeks ago. We got new copy of deal this week. We got outside first time financing set up, we set up extended warranty, we got all arrangements made and told by him we needed to sign today, last day of the month to lock it in. He then slides new paper in front of us a three days after last paper showing extra 800 because he did not know about issue with our trade-in. He allowed paperwork to go to us with all knowing everything and all that time said nothing until we came to pick it up. He really thought we would just roll over and pay. As I said, the reason this dealership has lost so many customers and good will since it was Webber Harris is people like this. Add me to list of lost forever customers. (Dealer across town gave us 3x what rich was going to stick us with his bate/switch tactic)

Out of the dealers local to me McCandless has the best service by far IMO. I had an issue shortly after I bought my truck and they were the only dealer willing to help. I didn’t even buy from them and they were willing to help. That’s why I still take my truck there exclusively. Nice people and competent service, what more could I ask for.

My son took my wife’s 2019 Ford Escape in for inspection with 20,000 miles on it. She had a chip in the windshield and knew it needed filled. The vehicle didn’t pass inspection because of it and was charged $45.53 and then $37.05 when brought back. I was told that this is state policy, but called around and 99% said they don’t charge if it leaves the premises. I will never bring another vehicle there, nor buy my truck in 4 months there. Sad part is, I use to work there and bring all my vehicles there....not anymore.

My daughter goes to Allegheny College, and we live in western NY. When she had serious car problems, so far from home, I worried that she would be taken advantage of. The service department took a look at the fault codes, called me directly and thoroughly explained the situation. The man running the auto body shop at Weber-Harris Ford, Allen, is a top notch mechanic and person. I crashed my new Ford F-150 a month ago and the truck was taken directly to Weber-Harris. I have never had dealings with this dealership and was hesitant to have the work done by someone I didnt know. From start to finish Allen kept me updated on the trucks status and answered all my questions quickly and professionally. Allen and his team repaired significant cosmetic damage all the way down the passenger side of the truck and a large dent on the drivers side. When I saw the truck it looked as new as the day I bought it. PERFECT. Cant say enough about this team of mechanics and the gentlemen who leads them. She answered every question in a timely manner. She then referred us to Levi which made our car buying experience the most relaxed and stress free trip ever. Worst dealership experience ever! Stoped with my dad to shop for a truck, the sale person was very nice and helpful at first, we returned later in the day with our trade and the whole attitude changed we received very poor service, and a poor attitude from our sales person. Even after the sale they continued to treat me like a long lost family member. We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Dave Bartholomew, he answered all of our questions and even set the vehicles up on sync so we could talk on the phone hands free. I even messed up the sync with my phone and took it back to Dave and he fixed it again for me all the While smiling and laughing. But every person that works there is same as Dave. I bought two great cars from here but the service department is horrible. Such as they broke my dipstick during an oil change, I had to buy a new dipstick - they should of paid for that- then they refused to try to change the dipstick! They didnt want to be responsible if it fell down in. So I had to also pay to have that removed. All of this because they broke my dipstick! I dont recommend them at all unless you like horrible service and wasting money

Service department is great but will never buy another vehicle from this place ever again. Ive bought 2 from here. Honestly, I cant believe I bought the 2nd after the 1st experience. As I sit and type this, waiting for an oil change, they are relentlessly harassing me into trading mine in on another! Ive said no repeatedly and explained what happened the 1st 2 times but they just wont stop. I dread coming here even for an oil change because they do this every time. Terribly dishonest and deceptive. I do not recommend.

Be very careful because they take the price of the car that theyre supposed to take off and they added on secretly. They try to hurry you up so you dont notice. Be careful when bringing your carbhere for service because the Service Department here has trouble fixing car problems. I had an inspection and they said I needed new calipers. They were going to charge me twice as much for the calipers than actual cost. They put them on but when I was driving home there was a clicking and grinding in the front right tire that was never there before. I took the car back twice since then and it was still making a noise. I took it back again and this time they said I needed new rotors all around and new rear brakes. A $400+ bill. And guess what? There was still a grinding noise. I feel they create problems to get into peoples wallets. I know that sounds harsh but if they cant fix a problem that didnt exist before I took it there in the first place, something is wrong. It turns out the rotors were warped because they put the calipers on incorrectly. Then when they put the new rotors on they screwed that up too and didnt grind the bolts flat or index the rotors. I had to take it to a different mechanic who actually fixed the problem on the first go.

Update:The review written below was for the dealership when it was Weber Harris Ford. It is now named McCandless Ford. I do not know if the new management engages in the same kinds of practices described below, so please do not ascribe my experience to the new ownership.I had the worst car buying experience here, by far. My wife and I bought a van from there several years ago. We are modest people. We have no desire the drive the newest models or pay a car note thats several hundred dollars. First off, the vehicles had no prices on them. That shouldve been a red flag right there. What followed was a procession of every underhanded trick in the book to overcharge people. They had several guys come out to talk to us, and each had a bag of tricks they tried to pull rather than just be straight with us. The first claimed the van had only been on sale for a few weeks, but the Carfax clearly showed they bought it over a year before that and tried to sell it at least twice before now. Of course, I didnt tell him I discovered that because it let me know they really wanted to get rid of it.The second guy tried to use pressure and intimidation. He made offers and went on about how he was going to really plead to the big boss on our behalf (yeah right). He said we werent allowed to shop that price around and had to agree to it right then and there. We never agreed to the offers, yet he comes back into the showroom banging on a cowbell saying we have a great deal as if that was supposed to trick us into thinking it was a good deal. When we said we were going to compare that to prices from other dealers, he literally ripped the paper in our faces saying no deal.So were leaving and they send the big boss out to negotiate. He wasnt giving us any better prices so we start to leave. He then yells out a price that was good and we come back. But then he still tries to get us to pay more than that. I said unless youre giving us the price you said before, we have nothing else to talk about. Then the guy got mad and was acting like I disrespected him for actually holding him to his word instead of paying more just for the heck of it.We were able to get the van for that price, but they made sure to make us the absolute last people they processed that night in retribution. We were literally there for hours waiting to do the paperwork, but people who came in and agreed to deals after us left before we did (because they fell for the tricks and paid well above Bluebook value). I will never set foot on that lot again and caution others not to do it either. Or at least if you do, make sure you already know the values beforehand so you dont leave feeling like a fool. Definitely not a place for customers who are weak-minded or easily persuaded. I dont know if theyve improved since then, but that was my experience.

I have a real problem with Webber Harris. They have tried to take advantage of me as a woman multiple times. They tried to get me to pay almost $3,000 so my car would pass inspection. Almost had a heart attack and took it to my uncle who is great with cars. He changed the breaks himself and took it to a garage for the inspection. Many of the problems WH told me I needed fixed were non-existent. One of the problems, which they said would require an entirely new exhaust system was a very simple fix. I ended up paying around $250 to get my car inspection ready. I will never take my vehicle back to them again. I recommend others dont either.

Im not very happy with the way i was treated when i was there to purchase this vehicle then when i went to get it inspected they told me it needed brakes and rotors on all 4 wheels but they made it right. But that is not the point so now it needs all 4 tires 1 year later whoever inspected this vehicle like this shouldn t be inspecting vehicles at all.Makes me not wanting to deal there anymore.And also i did not get a 2nd set of keys with this vehicle they told me the other people that had the vehicle before me had them these are very expensive keys which i still don t have because i don t have 350 dollars for another set which they told me thats what it would cost,Im not very happy at all.

By far the worst Ford Dealership in the fleet. If you want a bad car buying experience, shop here!Facility is terrible. I witnessed two people fall on their face because they tripped when coming in the front door. The sales guy told me, while laughing, that this happens all the time. Someone should sue Weber Harris for this if they havent already.Sales/Customer Service: in a word: horrible. They did NOTHING to set us up (no mysync, no GPS, no phone, no vehicle code, etc, etc.)Closing: NIGHTMARE. Pressured and demeaned us for 1.5 hours to buy an extended service contract. An extra 30 mins were used to sell us accessories (windshield protectant) and Im not sure they actually gave us the product. Entire process took about 5 hours at the dealership.Good News: I called in July and offered to buy the car (sight unseen) for $500 under asking price. The greedy people turned it down even though they knew it was a VERY fair offer. Three months later, the car was still for sale and they had just dropped the price by $5,000, no exaggeration. Of course I gladly paid their new asking price and in the end they lost out on $4,500 in revenue. I bought the car that next week.The only reason we put up with it was because they had the exact used car we had been looking for nine consecutive months. The dealer is 240 miles round trip from our home. I will drive 500 miles one way next time to avoid Weber Harris.Ford should be ashamed to associate with this dealer.
