Much nicer system then our old 30 year old Kinetico. Pre-filter much easier to change. Professionally installed. Nice unit.

We recently worked with Clearwater to replace our 25 year old RO Kinetico system and our whole house carbon filter media. We received excellent advice and installation. The K5 is a significant improvement over the older RO unit. We are very pleased with Clearwater.

Service and Equipment is fabulous! We got the drinking water system because of having city water. When the guy came to give us the options, he explained things well and wasn’t pushy at all in which option we chose. He wanted us to be happy. We love it the system. The service is great! It was installed Tuesday n the faucet didn’t match our other kitchen faucet n they came and nicely replaced it a couple days later! We recommend them to anyone!

Recently, our kinetico water softener system wasnt working properly (metallic tasting water and toilets changing to an orange color). We scheduled a technician to service the system. Several days before the appointment, I was able to troubleshoot and figured out that the possible opportunity was a bridge in the salt pellet container, meaning the pellets were not in the bottom of the container. I was able to loosen the pellets and within a few days, the system appeared to be working just fine. The technician, Jim, walked me through every test/troubleshooting with great explanations of how and what he was checking. Our water tested perfect and the system was working properly. Jim agreed that more than likely there was a bridge in the pellet container. He recommended that we only add 3-4 bags when we are able to see some water in the bottom of the pellet container. Thanks again to Jim for providing a great tutorial on troubleshooting the system.

Recently we had a new system installed in our home. From the beginning of the project to the completion everyone from the office staff to the technicians was a great experience. We would recommend their services to anyone with any water related issues. Again great service!

We purchased a kinetico system years ago in our first house, it worked great! Weve moved and purchased another system for our new house. This non electric system is everything they say it is, uses little salt, and with the add on filters, it filters all the rust and particles out of our water. The water tastes great too. This is a wise investment! We love it!

Avoid this system if you can. We got what the salesman said was “top of the line”, but funny thing is we had a system that was twenty years old when we moved in and it was just as good if not better. We got ours in 11/2016, so less than 3 years after and 3-4 service calls later our water is unusable. If I could post a picture of our new toilets and what our water did to them I wouldn’t even have to write this post for people to avoid this system.

My parents have terrible well water and recently purchased a K5 RO system to go with their current softener. They like that they didnt have to replace everything in order to get good quality drinking water in their home. Great service and friendly installer. Would recommend calling Clear water for all your water needs!

This is our third Kinetico water softener system. We have been a customer since the early 90s. Each time we have moved we have put in a new system. Our third system was installed about a year ago when we downsized to another home and Luminous was wonderful to work with. We love the new Kinetico and really love how little salt and water the system uses! Great Job! Installation team was very professional and did a great job of explaining how to use and maintain the system. Its amazing the difference in your skin and hair. Also with the K5 drinking water we dont have to buy bottled water anymore - another bonus!

I moved into a house recently that has a Kinetico system. The system is only 3 years old but Ive never had as many issues with my water as I do now. Ive lost a lot of fairly pricey work clothes washing them at home. Its a pain feeling like its always a gamble washing my clothing.

Went here to buy see if they sold replacement filters for refrigerator. They were quite rude and told me to go to Home Depot or Amazon. A simple no we don’t carry those would have sufficed.

I don’t want to even give them one star but google will not allow me to do any less. Very displeased with customer service. Do NOT recommend.... spend your hard earned money elsewhere!!!!!!!

I bought a system approximately 3 years ago. At the time I purchased the sales person that I had told me that if I were to ever move just call him because the system could be moved to my new house. So I called today and the salesperson I worked with is no longer there and I was told today not 3 years ago when I purchased the system that it $125 for them to come and get and then $60/30mins for them to move it. This is an outrageous price for this service when I already spent thousands on the system and was never informed that there was a charge or that I would have a different sales person. So I guess I will try to move the system myself. This is terrible customer service especially if you want people to refer others to your company.

We have very hard water in Fairview and needed a new water softener. I have been extremely happy with the whole home Kinetico water system from the knowledgable folks at Luminous/Clearwater systems. It works great and the drinking water is fantastic. Luminous/Clearwater is the clear choice!

I have used this service for many years but today that will be the end. When i was in the office today i was informed that the simple service fee of changing filters had increased by more than 400% when i was simply charged around $20 for everything i was now being charged over $100 This service takes a mere 10 minutes and is said by the company to be needed every three months. So for the almost $7,000 Kinetico system that i have i need to now spend $400 per year in filter changes? Sounds like with the new company of clear water taking over we no longer have a local supplier that cares about customer service. I now will be dealing with the company my family has in erie called rainsoft. My mother has a lifetime equipment warranty and more importantly has been treated fairly for over the last 25 years she has owned it. I hope no one else makes the mistake that i made.
