DO NOT buy a vehicle from them! Sent over $800 for property tax and received a letter from DMV saying I owned another $300 and they only received $600 of my $800 sent. They don’t know how to take care of the registration of vehicles either. Sent me a weighted tag for a truck I don’t need one for. Literally stole money from me. Tried to call and no one answered or ever called back. I don’t know how the owner could ever be okay with this

Charlie and Eugene were both super helpful and friendly! Just bought a car from there today. The financing process was quick and the easiest experience I’ve had in dealing with purchasing a car. They have an amazing inventory. When we couldn’t get my insurance provider on the phone, Charlie physically drove to my insurance providers office and got our insurance set up for us!! Firstly, I have never written a review before but felt the public should know the horrible experience my mother and I experienced here.We had researched a Hatchback listed on their website clearly priced at $16,900 which we felt was a fair price for the amount of miles, year, etc. We called before we drove in to ask if the car was on their lot, they said it was and was priced at $18,900. First red flag. I proceeded to say we had seen their vehicle listed for $2,000 less on their website. The salesman proceeded to feed me a line about features, etc. He then tried to steer us towards another car we were not interested in, that would be more in our price range.Against our better judgement we decided to see for ourselves in person.We tried different cars to be sure we liked the original car. The salesman said that the Hatchback was $22,500!!! Classic used car salesman up selling. When we explained that they have the price on their own website and others listed at $16,900, he said that he would of course honor it. That would be another red flag, and out right lie.At this point, we continue to give this dealership more of our time and efforts and sit down with their manager, Robbie. We explained our frustration at being taken for a ride and be given such different prices, even showing him their vehicle listed on their website listed at $16,900. He did not confirm or deny the price. Instead he harassed us to answer him if we would be paying cash or financing. We are still figuring out our options and had come for clarification for the price. This man refused to give us a price! He returned to ask his question and steam rolled us without any regard for our needs as a customer. Worse, he told us that he didnt want our business and rudely told us to get out!In all of my years in the service industry, my mother and I have never been treated so poorly. It is clear these guys are disorganized and bet on you, the customer, not doing their research. They do not list prices on the cars in their lot or honor the prices they list on their own website.Buyer Beware.

The process of purchasing my Ford Explorer was pretty smooth “of course”. I haven’t had my SUV for a month yet and a piece of my door panel flew off while driving the speed limit on I-95 and it began to hit my driver side window repeatedly while my family was also in the car with me. I contacted Richmond Rocket Auto sales to let them know about it and they stated they couldn’t pay for any damages even though my car is under warranty and is insured. I explained to them that nothing hit my car and that it had to be an existing issue. It’s actually looks as if somebody glued the panel on to cover the problem. They proceeded to not offer any assistance. Very very poor customer service and lack of effort with fixing issues.

Went to the newer location on Midlothian Tpk. had just left one of the “Big Boy” dealerships up the road. SO GLAD I pulled into Richmond Rocket! They had a much nicer version of the exact same vehicle we were previously looking at (at the “Big Boys”). Had gotten treated disrespectfully by the “Big Boys” and left there in such a bad mood. We were met by a very nice salesman at Richmond Rocket (Harley Hensley) and were treated wonderfully by him and their ENTIRE STAFF. Definitely recommend them! We had a great experience with Eugene and Ronnie assisting us in the purchase of a new Ram. We researched the internet shopping in NC and VA and not only did they have the exact truck we wanted but had the best price. We bought the truck a month ago but wanted to make sure it performed how we expected before writing a review. A few hundred miles, hauling building materials, and an awesome fishing trip. The Hemi ran great. Eugene and Ronnie made the purchase experience as smooth as possible and it was actually kinda fun. I would definitely send friends and family in their direction for a truck.

They will try to screw you over when you take a vehicle there to sell. Wont put anything on paper so they can change the deal as they please. There word is as valuable as the dirt on the bottom of my shoe.

Had an absolutely horrible experience at this place and wouldnt buy there again if my life depended on it! If you tell them what youre looking for dont take their word on it because they will screw you over and do absolutely nothing to try and help you out!! Bought a truck there and discovered a few days later it wasnt what I had asked for. I asked to get out of it AND buy another vehicle from there AND take a loss on whatever fees, etc were associated with it so they would have to eat nothing and I was told I could trade it in for 1000s less that what I had just paid for it! Not to mention, I know another individual that purchased from there and later discovered rust on the body hidden by the fender flares that had been installed on the truck. Nobody will let one negative review persuade them to buy or not, but I advise to buy with extreme caution.

Went up there to see a Chrysler 300c listed but wasnt told until I arrived there that the car needed over $3000 worth of work to pass a safety inspection. I think thats something that really should be disclosed over the phone before someone drives 45 minutes out there to see a vehicle. Other thing is that on the Carfax report for the car it says that the car PASSED its safety inspection on 11/18/2019. Correct me if Im wrong but those usually are good for one year from the inspection date. So how is it that the Carfax site says it passed and the dealer said it failed needing work.... Is the dealer not telling the truth or is Carfax posting false information?

Truly blessed to deal with such great people I was devastated at the loss of my old truck the engine had blown and do too my life style I can’t live with out a truck, they made this process pain free given the tears I shed lol they gave me a shoulder too cry on as well it was a emotional rollercoaster trying to find what I wanted and they had my back it felt like family when I walked in no pressure it was actually very comforting most of the dealerships I checked out which was just about anywhere who had used fords for sale they kept pushing me these guys where the complete opposite they supported me and made it happen they detailed it from under the hood too waxing it and even making sure the undercarage was nice and clean there detailing team was great and humorous which made it fun, I definitely recommend these guys they where great all across the board they sold me my dream truck which was apparently the only one in the state of VA that had everything I wanted plus some great price great mileage. My husband and I stopped in to Rocket Auto since they always have such good looking vehicles on the lot and it was time for me to get a new vehicle. We test drove an awesome Titan that would have matched my husbands but was half what we had paid for ours. Talk about a Bubba Truck..man that thing was unreal. Unfortunately it was just too much truck for me and I had my heart set on an AWD Sedan instead. We worked with Lil Ronnie Harris and he hooked me up with a 2018 Ford Focus Titanium that has all the bells and whistles. We were in and out within two hours time but it felt like 30 minutes. The best car dealing experience I have ever had. I went in with a pre approval great interest rate from my credit union and I did not even have to use it. The Sales Manager worked with Towne Bank and got me the same rate without me having to provide anything more so it was a smooth transaction. What a family friendly atmosphere. The owners were fantastic and even bought lunch for everyone there. My husband enjoyed a burger and chips while we did our business.Thanks for being such a welcoming place. I wanted to reach out to you to express my disappointment with a recent purchase I made from your dealership a couple months ago.I purchased a 2012 bmw 535i xdrive in November I believe it was.  Thank God I purchased the extended warranty but even that has been an extreme disappointment.In this time I have had several major issues.  I immediately had issues 3 days after my purchase and brought it back in for yall to send to a shop.There were things found 3 days after purchase that should have been found when the vehicle was inspected.  The defrost heater for example didnt work.  The Sarek mechanic told me this car shouldnt of passed inspection because of this issue alone much less the torque convertor being bad.  Warranty company wouldnt pay for the defroster.The transmission has had the torque convertor replaced.  Which by the way the vehicle didnt have the special little tool that should have been in the truck, that allows you to put the car in neutral.I have had to have 2 special tow trucks come out to tow it when it has broken down because I dont have this little tool that should be there to allow the vehicle to be put in neutral.  Its an xdrive.I have had to replace the fuel pump.I have had to replace a special $800 battery that a bmw requires.  And other stuff I just cant remember off the top of my head but Sarek can print me the list.  I have spent several thousand dollars.The warranty company has been a pain and I feel have not delivered service as advertised by your company.  Meaning, I had no idea they were going to argue with the repair shop on what they are willing to pay them for shop rates.  I didnt realize they would insist on using used or rebuilt parts which Sarek Auto says they didnt reccomend and has to argue with the very mechanic they sent me to.Sarek auto is the repair shop they told your guys to send my car to have prepaired.  So I went were I was directed and have had to come out of pocket considerably for labor they wont cover or parts.  I bought the next to best plan I believe thats covers just about everything.Thank God I bought something though because it would be an even greater nightmare if I had to pay 100%.Gary, it is my fault I trusted your company to provide me with a vehicle I was told yall checked out thoroughly and inspected.I should have taken it to my mechanic and had it put on a rack and had them look at it.  I trusted I was buying a good buy from you guys and I am sure you guys didnt intend on selling me a lemon but thats what I got.I dont feel the vehicle was checked out as communicated to me by your dealership and I am a disappointed customer to say the least.The car has broken down on me yet again last night.  Another 150 tow bill and more repairs.  The car just shut off so not sure whats up.I bought this for my 17 yr old son to drive.  He has broken down twice now on a back country road at night.  Didnt have the ability to put the car in neutral to move it to the side of the road for safety.  I had to wait over an hour in pitch darkness waiting on the tow.  Last night he was able to coast into a drive way but because it was on an incline and we couldnt put it in neutral the tow truck had a big issue finally hooking up and towing.  Had traffice backed up at 10pm at night on a back country dangerous road.I just wanted to let you know about my nightmare and I will unexhaustfully make sure I let people know they need to have their vehicles checked out before purchasing a vehicle from Richmond Rocket.  I am a local Mechanicsville resident.The warranties are deceptive and the inspection sticker is also deceptive that the vehicle has had the basic safety issues addressed before resale.I just cant believe my experience buying this car from someone I felt is a reputable dealer.Also, when buying an extended warranty plan. Make sure you question whether or not the plans replaces parts with used, rebuilt or new parts and do they argue with the mechanic about what rate they might charge to fix your car.
