There was a bit of a wait, but once they were able to help me, Troy stuck around and made sure to help me with everything he was able to help me with, even if it meant staying late or taking extra steps to make things happen. He did a great job. My phone is now working perfectly on VZW.
My phone went into swipe mode. Went into Mech Verizon on 7/16 pm. &the Manager was assisting me and said my phone did a soft wear update so I have to cont to swipe instead of tap button. She had had No ideal to go to settings and turn off the icon for swipe.

Last time I went here I had to wait over an hour to exchange 2 items for the same items for the correct phone. Mistakes happen, but an hour is insane when there are 3 verizon reps and 5 people in the queue when all i need is 2 minutes. anyway. no Im mad because the rep who wasnt really doing anything except for check-in (had basically stood there for 20-30 minutes doing nothing) helped someone else who walked in off the street before helping me after I waited the hour while i was next in line.Im still angry about this, needed to lower the score to 1 star, super petty but I genuinely dont care.
Service was slow but after weeks of no good news via the toll free number. I received great assistance and a resolution to my problem.

We we went to Verizon to get me a new Samsung phone cause mine wouldnt stay charged. We had to order phone and it will be here in August some time.That kind of made me FLUSTERED cause I wouldnt have had to go to Mechanicsville from Sandston. We could have ordered the phone from my house and wouldnt have had to go to Verizon at all........ So Disappointed.!.
Let’s here it for the Verizon in Mechanicsville, VA. I was met at the door by a rep, they asked what I needed, sent me back to the car, and sent a rep out to accommodate the issue. This is an organization that takes the health of their workers and customers seriously. I am impressed.

Took 1 minute in store to fix a phone issue, after being when I customer service phone call, and 30 minutes later the lady on the other end of the phone was still looking up information, and the gentleman at the door of the Verizon store wanted to discourage me from going in. I really dont care which way I receive customer service as long as Im receiving it. The phone number for customer service when you have an issue is not providing customer service and Verizon needs to do something about that. The person answering those calls should have basic knowledge of what Verizon programs are at the very least and they do not!!
The people are understaffed and wIting times averGe 1 1/2 hours if not longer.The crew is wonderful and helpful once they finally get to you.

Had to wait in car but they did not forget us. The employee who waited on us was very patient and helpful. Verizon wireless is the problem as they messed up a simple online order and 3 days later has still not been resolved. If any other wireless phone company would work in a rural environment I would drop Verizon.
The guy that waited on me appeared to know little more than I did and didnt appear to care about helping me. The customer service at this place has really gone downhill. I will go to another location or get another device provider, after all these Verizon years Ive spent with them.

Horrible horrible experience with this location i recently transferred to at&t over the weekend and was having trouble transferring my number over. I was greeted at the door I explained that I was looking for a number transfer pin, the employee (big white dude didnt tell me his name) didnt even listen too me told me I was an at&t customer now so I had to deal with them then pointed across the parking lot to their store. I ended up on hold for 30 minutes for verizon customer service telling me I can go to a verizon store with a proof of ID to receive an number transfer pin. Walked back to the verizon store and was greeted by the same employee who told me he could not help me and I needed a working verizon phone to help. After that I went to the verizon store on midlothian turnpike and received my number transfer pin in less than 5 minutes of being helped. I dont know about the rest of the employees but he really made me never want to use verizon wireless again

Some girl nicknamed queen was trying to help my father-in-law and myself. He had got a Samsung Note 10+ that a sales associate pushed on him (77 years old). Just an expensive phone that he really doesnt need. It was slow and had some other issues. While talking to my father-in-law about his bill issues that he needs to call Verizon about the associate became offended. I told her to relax that we arent even talking to her. Where she said that I was being disrespectful. I reinstated that we werent even talking to her or about her. She continued to swap sim cards to help with the speed issue. In doing so neglected to move all the pictures of his grand kids that were on the original sim card or give the card to us. Just a disappointing experience.

I consistently receive outstanding service from this store. Most recently, Mitch was a patient miracle worker who helped me problem solve a significant hurdle. He helped me activate my warranty and reset my phone after I botched the iCloud transfer. He spent a lot of time with me and never made this technically deficient girl feel stupid. I drive by other Verizon stores to come to this one...and I hope for Mitch when I come.
Got here just after they opened on a Saturday morning and was immediately greeted by Kimberlie. She was excellent; best customer service I have ever encountered at a phone or electronics retailer. I had my arrangements for a new phone completed in no time.
Amazingly poor service right now, as Im standing in the store. They allowed my son to add a $1000 phone to our account without authorization, and are insistent they did nothing wrong. Will be looking at other providers before I leave the store.

Good customer service. The associate screwed up the lines as I have three on my plan. I had to rush back after they had closed and luckily another associate remembered us and mostly fixed it. Now I notice that my phone says already upgraded but it was another phone on my plan. Not too impressed.
Super helpful! Spent 3 hours on the the phone with Verizon tech support with no luck. The guy at the store took less than 5 minutes to diagnose and fix our issue.
A nightmare of an experience. Rude manager who enforces unconstitutional policies. Wanted me to jeopardize my health for his staffs safety. Didnt show any empathy. Had zero lack of responsibility and claimed erroneous conspiracy theories. I pray someone in power handles this very sad problem at Verizon.A full month later and no response or help regarding this matter. I emailed the proper response and was ignored. Ill be contacting a lawyer.

Place was crowded, though not packed. Took over 30 minutes to get waited on. Best deal with unlimited minutes and device protection, 75.00+/month. Went to at&t next, then to target for a nice samsung j7 phone for under 200.00. Gotta love consumer cellular. Sorry verizon and at&t.:-)

Went in with the expectation of a long wait, but we were pleasantly surprised. Fifteen minutes after signing in, Kimberlie helped us transfer my daughter back to Verizon (because Sprint stinks!). She was patient with my daughter and quite friendly. We were in and out of the store in 45 minutes.

The employees at this store are always pleasant. The wait is pretty long during peak hours so be prepared. Great selection of working devices to play with and great selection of cases for all the phones they have.
The guy that was helping me was more interested in his own personal phone than helping me.

Great showroom, but, absolutely the slowest service on the planet. They need more people to help customers. They checked me in, I waited for more than an hour before I left. 45 minutes later, I got a text message telling me I was next in line....

Ive never had a problem with this store. Went in recently to get a new phone and warranty and thankfully an employee (Sam) walked me through everything and helped reduce my monthly bill. The wait was a little long but the manager went to everyone and explained why and then another employee set out cookies for everyone. These guys are in a league of their own! This is why the store is always busy and the two other phone stores nearby are empty.

I notice that all employees are black people who are dumb and they dont want to help white people, For example, if the white people who wanted to purchase good phone device, but they look faultfinding about the application to fill out so then they will tell you that you are not qualify to purchase, because the black employees trying to impress the Stockholders that the new customers are rich and good Credit Reports, so that is why they refused good white customers with low income or low Credit Reports score.. That is why I said that it is bad Business.

I was in the store 2 days ago excited to switch from sprint to Verizon. Roger was my associate and after walking me through the process of switching. I returned to my house to get an alert about my bill being 250.00 more than what he told me in the store. He had signed me up for the wrong data plan and even inputed all of my phone information wrong. He clearly does not know what he is doing and at all costs I would stay away. I had to call the tech support and a very helpful individual was able to switch everything around to the way I wanted. I was extremely excited for this switch but it has definitely started off rough.

I remember being a kid going into this Verizon store waiting at least an hour and seeing everyone sitting on the floor waiting. Now, this store location has hired a lot of employees so when you come in, you can immediately get in touch with someone. I commend Verizon for doing this, all my visits have been great, but I do still recommend coming in later on a weekday if possible.
As a former Verizon Employee - this location is absolutely horrible. The wait time is crazy long and if it were because people were busy, it would be understandable. Its hard to think of the people at work when they are standing talking to each other. When you are lucky enough to have made it past the wait and get to a rep - you are treated as if your business or concern inst important. My mother has left in tears from the way shes been treated on more than 1 occasion.
Yes my experience with Verizon is always disappointment. The employees are not friendly at all. They act as if you are bothering them by asking for help. I got changed 3.50 to call my Verizon payment in and I went to Verizon to pay and the kiosk was out of order. Not my fault. Tryed calling Verizon to make a cancellation and was on the phone about 15 to 20 minutes no response. I am feed up with Verizon. Done.

It took 3+ hours to get my wife a new phone. After claiming we had a past due balance on our account, they triple-charged our credit card when we tried to pay the balance for her phone upgrade. When they tried to refund the credit card for the two extra charges, they contacted a support center that said our account was never past due to begin with. Staff is poorly trained; their tablets do not work properly; and the manager is not engaged at all. Throughout the entire experience, the manager didn’t have the decency to check in (not even once!) to see how it was going. Weak leadership, poor results. Save yourself the trouble and bypass this Verizon wireless location.

In all of my 75 years, I have never experienced such incompetent and insulting treatment by a so called salesperson. When she learned I was there only to replace my simple and inexpensive flip phone with another flip phone exactly like it, she gave me a nasty look of disgust as if to say I cant make any commission of this old guy. Without a word, she immediately turned her back and walked away leaving me standing there as if i was invisible. Add to this the fact that the extraordinary wait to be attended to is a total disgrace and you have a store that Verizon should be ashamed of!!! I would give them zero stars if that was a choice.

Typical Verizon support. They tell you your new phone will mirror your old and here I sit at home still downloading apps some 6 hours after going into the Mechanicsville location at 10 this morning. Theyve got me for a couple more months and then Im going with another vendor.
