So the pin dropped by google maps isnt the correct location. They are on the western side of the plaza next to Ricos.My family stopped in on a Sunday after visiting some family in the area. They had an awesome selection and an efficient use of space inside. My 5 year old was able to find a new Narwhal and Jelly book and Pusheen plush, and I was able to find some rulebooks for not-Dungeons-and-Dragons RPGs. They had a decent spattering of other systems on their shelves. Yeah I could have probably gotten the books cheaper on amazon, but some of these other games I really want to skim through the rulebooks before making a $50+ decision.A+ Staff and customer service, too.

This is one of my favorite places to go on earth. Everybody is very very nice and helpful. They all try their best to keep up with the trends on comic books and theyre pretty knowledgeable about everything thats in the store as well. Very good place

Awesome! Loved it the moment I walked inside. 😎 Very neatly organized and clean, staff was super helpful and knowledgeable, and I literally found nearly everything Ive been searching for plus more. They have one of the biggest selections of graphic novels Ive seen in a long time. There were titles right there on the wall that I couldnt find at any other comic or book store. So that saved me the trouble of trusting Amazon, which Im eternally grateful for. Hubby found a ton of figurines he wants to knock off his Christmas list and their Funko Pop selection is just remarkable. I highly recommend this shop if youre searching and searching but having no luck locating certain things except online. Definitely call first though if its a hard-to-find type of thing.

My sons and I were in the store next door and they wanted to check out the comic book store next door, which wevenever been in. We decided to go in there and try it out. We were greeted, asked if we wanted to see anything in particular and then showed what we asked about. First time visiting this store was to look for Walking Dead comics for a craft project just recently. The man running the shop was super helpful and asked me what he could help me find immediately upon walking in. It was hard to leave once I found what I needed, they have some awesome finds and I cant wait to browse!

Ok here is the low down on this store. If you are looking for new or subscription issues, this store is great. If you are looking for back issues then this store is unable to help you. Super friendly owner is behind the counter. He is very knowledgeable about all kinds of comics. I liked the store just wished it offered more. For me it was a bit far to tracel. Over all a nice local shop for new and current issues. By the way a pretty good selection of current variant covers.

Pretty expansive comic book store, what brought me in was the very good selection of Gundam models; all are same price if not cheaper than found online and no wait or extra charge for shipping.

I havent been to many comic book stores in my life but out of the few Ive gone to, this one was definitely the best.Not only is everything laid out in a way that makes finding what youre looking for as easy as possible but, while I consider myself quite knowledgeable of comics, the staff are leagues ahead of me.Every recommendation they gave me was spot on, I highly recommend this place for anyone just starting to get into comics that doesnt know where to start or someone just looking to catch up with a series they fell out of.

One of the best comic shops in Richmond! Clean, well stocked, and the employees are friendly. I love when a shop is well lit, and actually has room to move around and look. The employees being both friendly and helpful is rare in shops around here, and its nice to not be looked at like a germ when I have to ask where things are. They also do special orders if they dont have something you are looking for. The best extra feature is a corner specifically stocked with kid friendly comics for the little ones!

The people are knowledgeable and fun to talk to, just an overall great place for Nerds like myself to hang out.

This place has everything awesome, my son wanted a bane pin couldnt find I looked found it went to pay and the guy said its yours. He has been proudly wearing it and Im pretty sure thats his next costume he asks for thanks for making his day.

Best shop in Richmond. Great layout, clean and well lit (for those true comic collectors we know this is rare!), and GREAT staff. If youre new to comics, Joe and Kevin will walk you through various books and series to find a story youll love. If youre already into comics, youll find their selection awesome and their books in good condition. They have even teamed with comic publishes to have discovery days. If you live in Mechanicsville, Blue Marble is a must. If you live in the Richmond are, its totally worth the trip.

In a digital age, this is the kind of comic shop that reminds you why you want to buy the physical books. Great recommendations from their friendly staff, good conversation and will bend over backwards to get you what you need. They stock a wide variety of tabletop and card games as well. Its easier to download your books, but its far more worth it to buy them here.

I have been an avid comic collector since childhood. Id like to say Ive been to my share of comic stores and Blue Marble certainly has the best customer service. Hell, I havent had customer service like this in half of the places I go to on a day to day basis. Both Joe and Kevin seem to know everyones name who walks through the door! They go above and beyond to know what each person likes, and gives excellent ideas on what to try next. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for comics or board games!

This is one of my favorite places in Mechanicsville, its where you get comics from, and action figures! I try to come here as often as I can and every time I go, i accidentally end up sending about $20- $40 its worth it (Sells the best comics ever!)

New shop in the area, promoted the gaming, has no gaming space. Wasted a long drive out there when other gaming shops were close by. Great stock, friendly staff.

Mechanicsville has a winner. Joe and Kevin are enthusiastic about comics and, if not busy, will chat about favorite storylines, the latest blockbuster, or any other comic-nerd topic. They also love pointing out other books you might like and happily manage a pull list for you (sort of like subscribing to a series, but you get it through Blue Marble). Every visit is a treat.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, has some of the best kawaii, Sanrio, & Miyazaki stuffies, and quite possibly the most interesting card game selection ever. Bought my very first Cards Against Humanity from there. Love it!

Staff is excellent and extremely friendly. The amount of items in store in wonderful as well its almost an overwhelming selection.

I was very excited for this shops opening, and I was thoroughly pleased with their range of comics, manga, and other novelties! They also sell a variety of buildable Gundam kits which was a nice surprise! The staff was super friendly too, making the visit even more enjoyable.

Small space, but packed to the brim with goodies! Besides comics and manga, they also carry board games, Pops, statues, trading cards and more. And if they dont have what youre looking for? Theyre more than willing to make a few phone calls and check if they can get it in stock for you.

Not really a review, but ive been to 5 different comic book stores near me and none of them look like this or have good reviews. Didnt even see this one on my list, but it looks like its well worth the travel. Cant wait to actually go to comic book store thats actually clean and well lit!

Great had everything I needed

I was very disappointed in this shop. Compared to the one in Annapolis, this one was a big let down. If you are looking for a bigger selection, do yourself a favor and make the trip to the Annapolis one.
