I am vaccinated but would appreciate the handles on the carts be cleaned. I recently got covid usually wear a mask in Kroger.and would appreciate cit lean the cart handle.

I have been to this Kroger many of times with no problems. But Sunday ( 10 - 3 -2021) was not good. The cashier was loud and holding up the line with just being silly.Why?And making fun of how the customer speak. Not professional at all. Sorry I cannot remember her name. But this was not accepted at all.

Went here today Monday February 10th absolutely disgusting. The bacon and the sausage was a gross grey color and the bacon was white grey. I shouldve taken a picture of the baskets I understand its a rainy day but its your job to bring carts we could hardly park.

Life without KROGER would be like a Life without Oxygen. Food Fun Friends, fresh Meat and Seafood . I go there sometimes just to look at the Bread.

Kroger is a great place to shop. Have a great variety of foods, wines, everything you would want to eat and or enjoy. They also have a wide range of outdoor items, Hardware items, and other clothes, you name it they have it. Its very clean store. You get fuel points for your purchases, they have deals on gift cards, which you get fuel points for, which you save money on your gas for, its a really good deal if you add it all up. You may pay more, a little more to shop there, but you get so much more for that little additional cost. Their Pharmacy is great to work with and their Deli and their meat department is really strong. Their produce department is usually very well maintained, without having any outdated fruit and vegetables out on the floor. Ive actually bought some firewood, and hanging plants for the house from the store location. This location is also close to the credit union and other places I tend to frequent.

This Kroger is fine as far as stores go, but it seems like every time I try to use the restroom, it’s gross.

They keep moving EVERYTHING! You cant find what your looking for because of it. They dont stock a lot of different things that are apparently popular. This store used to be great, not anymore!

Fantastic grocery shopping experience, knowledgeable staff with smiles greet and assist customers.

Online ordering. I did this with items they show availability that I needed. I paid for these. Now today I am to pickup my order and will not even get half of them. They did not pull the items I bought until the day of pickup. I cannot got to the store everyday and wait all day in hopes to get it. So what is the purpose of online ordering if they do not pull what I bought. Plus I decided to go in right after I received my order. Everything but one item they said was out of stock was there. So no more online shopping. Best to just see for my self.

I love the ability to pick up my order but this Kroger cannot seem to get my orders correct. One week they loaded my bread on bottom and other groceries on top of it. It was totally unusable and I had to go out again to get more bread. Took them 3 weeks to get my money back. Today, I received 4 pounds green beans and only ordered one, they packed wrong potatoes than what I ordered, I was missing a butter and $12 in digital coupons did not post. They are telling me 7-10 days to give me my money back. Broken system. I won’t try again!

The produce here is usually very good but the store can be a bit crowded at times. Employees are friendly and keep the store clean.

Waited in a check out line with 3 people ahead of me and at least that many behind me. 2 check out lines open. There was a call for more cashiers but none appeared. The cashier that was working was very nice but definitely needed more of them. Does this place have any managers? Didnt see any of them either!

Store was wonderful. Bakery employees extra special. Deli employees very helpful. But I didnt expect to stand in line at check out as long as I spent shopping. For that..3 stars

Staff is friendly and helpful but hardly any of the signage is correct for the isles due to some sort of floor change. I use to shop here regularly and it took me an hour and 3 laps around the store to find the 15 items I needed.

You can smell the seafood department from the front door. Thats not a good thing when the seafood department is at the back of the store.

I love Kroger. Their prices are very competitive. In fact they are usually lower than other local supermarkets. In addition, their pharmacy prices are generally the best when you use Good RX to compare prices. I highly recommend Kroger. It is my supermarket of choice.

Well I love Kroger. Lots of parking, good competitive prices, variety is great. If they dont have something and you ask for it they do try to accommodate the customer.

Can usually get in and out with no problem. Always busy but they manage it will. THEIR SUSHI IS TOP NOTCH - considering its a grocery store.

I have to share that I’ve been picking up my groceries here for a while with their online order service. It’s always been a smooth process. But I was served by an employee named “Andrew” tonight and he was very kind, patient and courteous! I was particularly impressed with his positive handling of another pick up customer who I observed speaking rudely to Andrew. Andrew treated this angry man with courtesy and didn’t let this mans’ gross attitude impact his customer service! Andrew remained professional and served myself and another customer without missing a beat. Kudos to Kroger for finding this employee! And- THANK YOU ANDREW!

I tried the new Go Bag and Scan program. It was awesome. I needed help twice with it but someone was able to assist me right away both times

The customer service of this place sucks. The so called office assistants are to lazy. They wont call for higher up management when an issue occurs. Also called to see if they had a product in stock they said they didnt over the phone. Stopped in there and sure enough the shelves were fully stocked. Definitely need better trained associates with better customer service skills

I got 2 cartons of 18 count eggs for 69 cents plus tax..one was free! I enjoyed looking around and realized how competitive they are. Meat and produce looked beautiful!

Extremely frustrating that the mechanicsville Kroger on mechanicsville turnpike closed at 8 pm on June 2, 2020.No signage was posted stating they were closing early. There is a sign says open until 10 pm.Staff was rude at pushing patrons out of door in order to close and lock it! 😡

I love it. I find great sales, on every thing. I get vitamine food, appliances, and clothes for my children, grand kids, grown and great grand childs. Its a family affair. Thank you Kroger.

Customer service is fantastic. Specifically I want to point out that the pharmacy is phenomenal!! They are extremely friendly, fast, and efficient. I drive 25 minutes out of my way just to stay with them!

Nice Store. Easy to park. Clean and bright. Friendly staff. Several times baggers have forgotten to put bags in my cart and Ive gotten home without a purchase or two.

Ended up putting stuff back. Only one self checkout open and it wasn’t working. Other lines were 10 people deep. And only a couple open.

Love shopping there. I can get everything I need. Great fresh meat and seafood selection. Produce cant be beat either.

I like the store itself but the floral department needs some help. I had such a hard time finding flowers that didn’t look like they were dying..

I went into this store looking for an oyster knife because I know my Kroger carries them but I was on the way out of town when I realized I was short one knife for my group. This store was a hot cluttered mess!! The staff on the floor in the isles stocking were oblivious to what was going on around them. They were blocking the isles with their inventory, not realizing they were doing so. The customers were blocking the isles in the meat department as they were three carts side by side having a lengthy conversation. Seems to be a meeting place instead of a shopping store. So much Holiday items placed randomly around the store added to the trouble of moving around the store. The isles were not labeled correctly. Did I mention I didnt even have a shopping cart. It was awful and the people were just plain rude. Glad its not my Kroger I shop at twice a week!!

Someone should tell the manager that having shopping carts available is conducive to selling stuff to customers.I went to both Entrances to the store and could not find a single shopping cart. I went to customer service and told them I would not be able to buy my grocery list because there was no way to carry it in the hand baskets. When I checked out 30 minutes later there was still no shopping carts available in the store.

Great place to get all your essentials, however I am ready for it to get its expansion. Many of the coupons they send me are for products that arent available at this location and when coupons are offered for a product thats there, you better get it quick or it will be out of stock, much like their gallon jug of vegetable oil. Having self checkout is a plus for those quick trips and the staff is always friendly and willing to help.

Never had a bad experience here. Good beer selection as Krogers tend to have. Fine service. Typically one of the busier grocery stores, parking tends to be near the back of the lot.

Would have given 2 stars thanks to redesign that creates tighter aisles and rearranged product placement - both of which eliminates the previous quick/simple shostars because management wisely staffed to have ALL registers manned.

Visited the Deli for lunch meats very happy with them. However bakery did not have any rolls for subs and regular bread section was out as well. This was also on a Sat around 3pm.

Excellent service. Produce department goes out of their way to help you find specific items AND even looked up whether I should get a 3-lobe or 4-lobe green pepper! The only problem is there is a basket of candy bars AT checkout; Ive gotten used to putting on blinders to get past the impulse-buy candy but now I have to stare at a basket of Butterfingers while the clerk scans all my items. Groceries, and a willpower test I can do without.

Been a good experience until lately. What fool would put a store through a major remodel during the busiest season of the. Kroger is getting closer to Wal Mart, move everything around for something to do. Besides theres NO rhyme or reason to where they put it. Id love to have $100 bill in my pocket for every car of groceries someone/myself left in the middle of the isle because they got tired of looking for something, they knew where it was 2or 3 days earlier.

Kind of dark for a grocery store. Found some good deals. Thought the other customers would be more friendly since I was pushing my father in law in his wheel chair.

I love the people but procedures need to be followed. Boxes of frozen and other perishable items left unattended in the floor. I have purchased refrozen ice cream on several occasions.

Its Kroger. Some of their prices are higher than those at other grocery stores but they make up for it with consistent produce and excellent meat selections. They also have fresh sushi, a hot bar, a salad bar, and anti pasta selections.

Look at the expiration dates. Especially when it comes to canned goods, ice cream and milk. I returned ice cream last week that expired more than 2 months ago and brought it to the managers attention that every container of ice cream of the brand that I had bought was expired on the shelf. A week later and that same ice cream is still on the shelf.

Love this store. Lines go quickly and staff is friendly. Parking lot is a little rough but doest stop this from being my go to grocery store.

I love this Kroger, except on Tuesdays. Tuesdays are Senior Citizens day, and they come in by the busload. GREAT bakery and meat departments. Employees are awesome.

Why cant they restock over night or early am. I came to store at 7 am to beat the crowds but had to navigate around workers with big pallets of goods.and they are changing the store and moving items 2 to 3 times. Spend alot of time looking! Probably go back to Food Loin.

A five might be a bit much (usually reserved for absolute top notch stores) but a four doesnt quite say enough. This is our go to everyday store. The store has a great selection and decent prices, and is well managed.

Im done with Krogers. This store has become a nightmare. Went to Kroger my last time this week. As if parking wasnt already a problem theyve taken about 10 spots up front to devote to grocery pickup customers. Also, their habitual moving of product, frequently, to different locations within the store, (thinking Ill buy other stuff if I have to look for a product), only frustrates a person. Done. I have been very happy with Kroger in the past. But now ( I dont know about all the other stores) the Mechanicsville store is nothing but frustrating! The employees are great. I actually feel for them because they are having to hear the frustrations of the customers. I do mean most of us!! The store has been completely rearranged and in a way that makes No Since. Before I could go in knew just where to find what I needed maybe grab a few extra things and out. NOW,,, I (just like today) spent more time trying to Find What I Need AND I cant wait to get out of there 😲!!! Its a good store, I will not be going because not this one, but some are rude to police and their families, I will not support anyone that doesnt support our police, military, anyone that is with 9-11 emergency. I used to go, never again...

I generally prefer Kroger over other grocery stores in the area but this particular location is starting to show its age and needs a serious remodel and expansion. The Kroger on Rte. 301 is much more expansive.

If they would stop switching aisles around maybe, just maybe, some could find what they went in for. This marketing scheme of resetting aisles, to make customers have to search more sucks. Im a buyer not a shopper. Going to the grocery store is not a social event for me, its a necessity.

Awful Awful Awful. . . New setup is totally confusing and doesnt make sense. Place crowded with in store shoppers with only far off parking spaces. . . All handicapped spots taken with 2 separate little old couples hardly able to make it across the lot. BUT 12 click-it spots completely open close to the door. . . Its like they dont want real walking around customers. . .

I just used Kroger for the first time. It was very late towards closing and the bakery closed. Right from the gentleman calling for help in seafood to being assisted by Mr. Binns. It was the best experience I have ever had anywhere. Lindsay the cashier was great as well. I came to find out he was the store manager. He even hooked me up with a balloon for my wifes birthday flowers. I hope everyone shops here. Truly great employees and awesome customer service!

I love the Kroger chain. However, this store is way too small. Constantly crowded aisles even during slow periods of the day. Items are regularly out of stock.With that said, like all Krogers, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I will continue to shop here due to the proximity to my home.

This store not as nice as the one on 301 was hoping that it would be 301.360 was going to be like 301 but we heard its not going to be bigger. Due to publix a fantastic store looking forward on seeing them come. We love Publixs.

I am extremely disappointed each time I shop about Kroger deciding not to build the new bigger store. I was shopping at one of the bigger stores before I moved into this area it was extremely awesome. The store had everything and you had plenty of room to shop without disturbance by other patrons or employees. Kroger claims that with other food chains building in the area it was their concern about business. Well in my opinion Kroger would of capitalized on business if they had moved I realize Kroger would have lost some. However I feel that Kroger is driving customers to the competition I myself cant wait for them to open. In the past several times I have heard customers complain about the remodeling. This store used to be my grocery store of choice in Mechanicsville, but a steady decline in customer service, cleanliness, and product availability has changed that. Now I only stop by when I have to and only because its on my route home. A trip there yesterday drove home my disappointment when staff at the self check-out lanes couldnt be bothered to help customers checking out. Whatever was on their cell phone was much more important than the job they were supposed to be doing. Once I got their attention, I was given nothing but attitude and excuses. I have to give some kudos to Nikki, who stepped in to ease the tension. Too bad the store doesnt have more employees like her.

The best grocery store period!

My husband and I encountered a very rude manager at the Kroger in Mechanicsville, Ms. Bennett. Our credit card was not going through and the cashier wanted it to be used with pin number. Ms. Bennett was called over and we were explaining to her this doesnt happen when we use the card at other places. While we were explaining this and was ok with using a different card she rudely said, we dont want to hear it as she was walking. I found it to be very rude and unprofessional.

They have what I want. Very good service but I do shop on off peak hours too.

My clicklist pick up was for between 3-4. Got there 345...was told order not ready. Ordered the day before. No call to make me aware. I waited another hour just to be brought the wrong order. Cant wait for Publix!!!!

Love this store, neat, clean, stocked for the most part every time I go. Always friendly staff.

We enjoy it, but the selections certainly arent as broad as the offerings at the Super Kenny Roger on 301, hence the reason theyll soon be breaking ground on one across the street from here.
