If you want to have a salesperson bait and switch you and then charge your card an additional amount after “refunding” the difference on the price for the lower model appliance you were given but not sold on, this is the store for you, when I finally got ahold of a manager he claimed that his sales guy didn’t even know what the term bait and switch meant, and that charging a customers card an additional $1000 is an honest mistake, they also don’t even know how the warranty they sell works, and think that simply refunding the overcharges is “making it right”. Of course I need to be refunded the amount wrongfully charged to my card. And maybe If the apology wasn’t followed with “he’s new, I highly doubt he’d be doing bait and switches” I’d be more inclined to believe it. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else

Due to the storm the initial delivery was delayed but they worked with me to come up with a workable date. The two men who delivered my appliance were friendly, efficient and informative. Use another appliance store. Purchased appliance package from them, and the extended warranty. Fridge broke 6 weeks ago, and cant get warranty company to fix it. Called lakes, first they asked what brand and when I said Samsung, the gentlemans reply was good luck getting that fixed. Now stuck with broken fridge less than 2 years old. No help from lakes regarding the warranty I purchased though them.****Lakes did email me right away after leaving the above review, not happy about the review I left. Wish they cared half as much as helping me out with the warranty I purchased from them, as they did about the review that was left.

I bought a new Frigidaire range/oven from The Original Lakes Appliance Saturday. Lakes gave me quite a few options totally fitting in my budget. I was called in the morning giving me the time window for the delivery. Two great guys showed up in that time frame removing my old appliance and installing the new. They went over the basic mechanics of my new oven and patiently answered any questions I had. I am thrilled with my purchase and the service received from The Original Lakes Appliance. A friend of mine recommended The Lakes Appliance store in Medford to me 5 years ago. I stopped in and found out what a real appliance store is like. Scott Kentrus was my salesperson. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else for any appliance. I have now sent all of my family members over to them. Great prices and service and real honest advice. Had a problem with my new fridge once and their serviceman was out immediately and solved it. Thats the most important thing to me. Could not be happier!

As you may know, freezers sold out in one day at all the big box stores. All are back ordered for a very long time. I reached out to Lakes on Facebook, and Pat responded. I told him what I was looking for and they were out of them. He said he should one in a week or two and would call. Sure as heck, he messaged me the next week and told he had 2 coming in. I still didnt believe it, but now I we have one up and running. We are not hoarding, but we have one member of the family doing all the shopping. This is such a big help. Thank you so much Pat. Lakes is my new go-to store.P.S. It was $80 cheaper than the big boxes.

Found “Lake Appliance” while doing internet search for Commercial Washer and Dryer. Worked with Brian at the Medford Store via phone messages and phone calls. I purchased a Speed Queen set and their price was the best in the area and the whole deal was done painlessly without ever going to the store. Three days later the set was delivered on-time and the two delivery men setup and connected everything for our new gas dryer and new washing machine. Very professional work and overall a perfect experience. I never used Lake Appliance before but they are now my Appliance Store 👍

This place scheduled my dryer repair then cancelled it because of a technician called in then the holidays got in the way (which I understand). I was suppose to receive a call back and when I didn’t receive a call I called them to find out they had no record of my appointments. Way to treat your patiently waiting customers.

We have bought all our appliances from Lakes since we moved to town in 1992. Great service and selection. We just bought replacements to our original Asko washer/dryer . They lasted 15 years of heavy use.

I knew what i wanted... this place only sells Speed Queen appliances. Purchased washer and gas dryer. Instalation comes with all hoses. Salesman was not pushy and looked honest. Delivery is next week. Will update after that. Update: delivery came and they were great! Removed the old machines and installed the new ones. They were so nice and install was a breeze. Did a few loads and the machines run great!! Update: 8.18.17 dryer making funny noise. Calles and they immediately scheduled one of their technicians to come the following thursday. He was there as expected per the call back from their store that day. He advised me there was a manufacturing defect and would order the part. He asured me i could use the dryer in the meantime as it did not effect its performance. I will let you know when the dryer is fixed. The washer 3 weeks in runs great! Update: dryer was fixed within a week. Was a manufacturer defect. They did a great job w customer service and repair! Botb working terrific!

Lakes carries quality equipment and I don’t have to wait days to take possession of whatever I bought.

Bought a refrigerator and in less of a year rust appeared on the door. We tried to get it off but could not. Called Lakes and they would do nothing. Will never buy another item from them
