Good coffee but I wish the staff would wear their masks
Amazing experience! Definitely the best coffee and customer service in Medford. Addison helped us and he was honestly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He offered my daughter and I a free cookie since it was our first time. He made sure the espresso pulled just right and the vanilla latte was great. 10/10 would recommend.
Went in for our first time yesterday and are hooked! Exceptional coffee, friendly professional staff and a great space to relax. Go for the scone - life changing honey butter going on there.
So glad we finally tried this place! I loved the converted gas station look with so much natural light; the whole vibe is just very cozy and inviting. Staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast sandwiches and coffees were top notch. Loved the pickled red onions on the avocado toast, and the pork belly sandwich was awesome. Much prefer supporting local coffee shops so will definitely return.
Very cute coffee shop, love the vibe. The Friendship bread is very good, I recommend trying that. I had a cortado which was pretty good. I’m not an espresso master but didn’t seem too over extracted or anything. Even though I doubt I will be back because we stopped on a road trip, all this place is missing is a pour over; that’s my specialty 😊. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. And even if you’re just passing through, give this place a try!
Forage is a coffee shop where the owners treat their employees like family, and the employees treat the customers as if we were their own children...Allow me to paint the picture:Imagine yourself arriving at a family reunion which your parents dragged you to, but instead of being met by awkward distant relatives and strangers you were greeted by celebrities and successful business people who are all eager to employ you for high paying jobs which require little work on your part, and no qualifications (for which you are incredibly grateful).Your parents who forced you to come, have each suddenly turned into a delicious caffeinated beverage. Your father is now an iced oat milk latte. You take your first sip. The espresso opens with an aroma of clove and orange zest. Then, a wave of hibiscus acidity balances the contrasting flavors of cocoa and farm grown oats. You let the tingling of your tastebuds linger while rejoicing that your taste has finally returned after losing it to COVID-19.You turn to your mother who is now a cortado. You look puzzled, unable to discern what a cortado actually is...but you embrace the mystery and flood your tastebuds with another rush of joyful flavors. This time, the flavor notes are so numerous that they swell and crescendo into a symphony upon your refined and sophisticated palette. Then you hear the applause. You suppose the cheers and shouts of approval are for the harmonious music which was effortlessly made by the barista...but then you discover the applause is for you. All of the customers and employees are giving you a standing ovation and simultaneously inviting you into their family. This is not merely a coffee shop. It is a home. Come and discover the truth of what Dorthy said as she clicked her shimmering slippers together.
My wife and I love Forage Coffee! Great food, innovative and very tasty drinks, great customer service. I just came back from visiting my kids in VA and only came across one business there that made mask wearing optional for fully vaccinated people. I was so happy when I went to Forage this morning to see they appeared to be following these new CDC guidelines as well. Thank you for doing that!
I really like how open and light this place is. Forage is an excellent place to relax wit a cup of coffee or shot of espresso in the morning with the sun streaming into the seating area. They have many comfortable places to sit. The drip coffee is absolutely amazing and the espresso is really good. It is served with a shot of seltzer water. I also like the ambiance of drinking coffee in a converted gas station.
Two stars because no one working there was wearing a mask and someone told me this place is some sort of religious cult. The former confirmed the latter. They have plants there which is cool.
Such a cute coffee shop! Delicious breakfast sandwich & free refills of drip coffee! Staff was so kind and funny! If I’m back in the area again, a definite return!!
O B S E S S E D.That is the easiest way to describe how I felt about this coffee shop. The vibe was so chill and the interior decor was to die for.If I could fangirl a coffee shop, this would be it.I got the Cardi B latte and it was delicious! The employees working were friendly and chatty. I wish I lived closer so I could come in regularly!
Eh. This place is okay. The barista had his mask down under his chin (whyyy?!), was yelling for the other barista to come help, and every patron that came in after me wasn’t wearing a mask, either. Bummer. Espresso was pulled alright, I just didn’t care for the roast. They have plants and some cute gifts for sale that were nice to look at while I waited.
One of the best Chai Lattes Ive ever had. Love all the plants inside. Really nice environment. Ill be hanging out there to get some work done!
Try the hibiscus tea. Wonderful!! 🌺 Great people, fantastic plants for sale!!
The savory scone was absolutely delicious! The tea list, though limited in scope, is right out in the open (yay!). The Black and Gold tea very good. I dislike lavender in tea, so that further restricts my options from 6 to 4, and it would be nice if there were a plain green tea. But it is a really cute place and I cant wait to try their other baked goods. Oh! And hubby says he really likes their coffee. And - big, unisex restroom with a diaper changing table for you moms and dads out there...
BEST MATCHA I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY WHOLE LIFEEEEEEE!!! It even had a heart in the foam and was in a nice sized mug. I got it with the oat milk and was recommended to try it with cardamom rose romance sweetener and I am amazed as this is such a wonderful, tasty replacement for honey. They even helped me acquire a pen so I may draw while enjoying my drink there. WiFi and outlets available, very welcoming service, and beautiful bright environment. 11/10 would recommend. I’m going back for another match right meow matter of fact! Blessings!
What a cute, quaint place!!! Right in the heart of Medford is a converted old gas station brought back to life with this great coffee house!!! The sausage scone, avocado toast and pork belly biscuit were amazing!!! I can see why the locals love this place!!! Forage Coffee Company GREAT JOB 👍
It appears to be an old gas station (in the event your confused when trying to find it), however it’s restyled with a modern chic edge. Amazing Dirty Chai with chai from Bend and a homemade Hazelnut milk. Pascal was a very sweet and entertaining barista. Recommend 10/10.
Most creative coffee place in Medford. Delicious breakfasts and unmatched coffee quality. Of course friendliest service and adorable and simple ambiance.
I love this place. The coffee and food are always great. But the person behind the counter was wearing their mask below their nose...and was sometimes behind the counter completely unmasked...Its pretty uncomfortable.
Great chai, good vibe, solid wifi and even nicer people. What coffee shops should be.
Favorite coffee shop in Medford. Love their cold brews
Amazing place, a defenet must if you are in the area! They have the best matcha tea and a soothing, rustic environment. Plus the people there are genuinely friendly :) love this place! 💕✨
Excellent coffee and great snacks! They offer plants for sale, cute selection.
Good coffee, plenty of out door seating.
Forage employees aren’t wearing masks even though COVID is surging and there is a mask mandate. Take your business elsewhere.
The atmosphere is chic and kind of bougie in the most positive way possible. This former service station turned coffee shop has a lot of character and gives off your local Oregon hipster vibes in a chill, down to earth, albeit paradoxical way, kind of way. A slight taste of Portland without pretension and great service to boot. The flavors are rich for all their lattes and none of them taste like your run of the mill corporate coffee shops. A great place to come and study as its a short walk from the local college and right next to Hawthorne Park. The strangest way to describe the place is gentrification done right. They took a place with great character and added more where most other places cant achieve the upcycling effect. This shop has added a lot of character to the community and makes for a good experience. Plus, who doesnt love adorable raccoons?Pictured is a mocha latte with caramel and love.
The forage experience is one like nah other. If you Fin’n to have a full send waves of espresso experience, Double Brody gainer this coffee shop. The ping and pong vibes of this place brought out all the good feels. I recommend the Kazakhstani barista with the gnar latte art skills and calm style. I do not like the picture in the bathroom. Other than this, is good.
The best espresso in medford, hands down. Friendly, locally owned and operated by people who are clearly passionate about coffee. We appreciate your service and your Americanos so much! Highly recommend!
Want to support local craft coffee? Outdoor seating for those who are concerned about distancing themselves. These guys are into creating originality, so stop by and try a drink or savory item made fresh. Its fresh and new and you wont get star bucked.
The coffee was better than the typical places around town. Also the owners work there.
100% delightful!! Everything is pretty, fresh flowers, excellent coffee, good baked goods, friendly servers, indoor/outdoor seating. got some!!
Always a great vibe. Best place to meet friends and hang out. Rotating coffee and fun plant selection. Amazing place to study or just enjoy the day. The owners are so fun and lively, and love sharing their passion for coffee with their guests. This place was such a necessity for Medford. This bright, eclectic, and creative third wave coffee and plant shop has done it right!
Nice atmosphere and great coffee. Check it out.
Ive always loved Forage and what they have to offer. I’ve been a huge fan of the atmosphere and their drinks since they opened. Though when I heard about the fines I thought it was an exaggeration but it wasnt until I went in today and notices how theyre still not reinforcing covid regulations. The first thing I noticed were the people without their masks who were already finished with their drinks and food. People walking in and waiting in line without masks and not being asked to wear one. The own barista who was making my drink wearing it under the nose and eventually just pulling it down to the chin and handing me my drink. Also, Jacob, who I believe is the owner, walking around without a mask insight and he wasnt drinking or eating anything either. This was disappointing considering it was my favorite local coffee shop. If the owner isn’t responsible enough to wear a mask while walking around the shop then it’s no surprise the employees and customers also don’t care. Every time Jacob has taken my order or made small talk he was such a friendly man but this is business and he needs to take accountability and control.
What Forage has done with a former gas station is amazing. Clean, comfortable plant filled area with good wifi. Great outdoor spot under the old pump awning. They gave amazing SO teas. The barista made my husbands mocha art. Warm and friendly staff who werent all gestapo about the legally and scientifically proved to be useless and ineffective government mandated muzzle. Ill be heading here to enjoy the awesome swing chair when sense and reason has returned.
Good coffee and breakfast sandwich. Outdoor seating under roof. Great springtime spot.
~200mbps down / 8 up!!Terrific internet, and even better coffee.
Quality of coffee and food is good.
I love supporting this coffee company. I always get an Americano and its perfect every time.
Superb Caffe Latte. Delicious Avocado Toast. Chill Atmosphere. Nice People. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nice people and great coffee. Went there for the first time today and plan to return often.
Forage Coffee is by far the best coffee shop in the Rogue Valley. They take great pride in their coffee and drinks, with incredible knowledge, craftsmanship, and care, they make some of the best quality products I have had in the Valley. Beyond their amazing drinks, they have one of the greatest atmospheres in the valley. With simply a super awesome environment and building, they have a niche offering of great merchandise and they have some of the best service you will find. Friendly and caring staff who focus on the customer and making their experience as great as possible. If you haven’t gone here, you are missing out!
No masks on any of employees despite statewide mandate. Whatever your “politics” on that, I prefer food establishments that follow health codes.I understand customers not wearing masks (this seems obvious trying to drink a coffee etc lol), but it seems necessary and obvious for employees to follow health codes and orders. The employees had masks just didn’t wear them on their face. What if they just decided it was inconvenient to wash their hands after the bath room or follow any other basic hygiene rules?
A wonderful retreat in this barren coffee hellscape filled with mediocre drive-thru chains.
Forage is by far the best coffee shop in Medford! They have excellent service and killer specialty coffee. If you are looking for a good hangout spot with friends or a place to study, Forage is the place for you.PS. If you love plants and local handmade goods. It is the best place to buy gifts for friends that love that stuff!
If you want to have a high quality coffee go this place and get a Pacamara!! You will love it!! I dont know if they know but that coffee has won several coffee competitions and you can have it here for a couple of dollars!! Go and enjoy it!!
They do have good coffee the only problem is one out of two times its way too hot like burn your tongue hot even when I ask them to make it warm. Bummer
Coffee really good and food is tasty
We pulled off the freeway to grab some coffee at what looked like a good coffee shop, sadly the coffee tastes too burnt to drink. Also disappointing, everyone in the shop was maskless (in the middle of the pandemic). The barista was nice.
Good coffee nice people plants for sale
Nice little shop in an old petrol station. Im not from this country. And they let me park my bike there for a few hours when I had an appointment downtown. Very Moto friendly. And the coffee presentation is more like something I would find in Croatia or Italy. I went to another shop similar to this in California. And price for similar things was over 10USD. It was considerably less here.
Seasonal house made syrup is to die for. I had a half sweet 8 oz late with cardamom rose syrup. The barista let me sample the syrup ahead and it was very nicely balanced. This shop is cool with laid back vibes and room to stick around and work if needed especially if the weather is nice. Large outdoor area.Great latte art too!
This is such a cute unique setting! There are plants everywhere, comfortable seating, and they have a lot of fun merchandise. The have to bay doors that they will open on warm days and there is a hanging pod chair thats very comfortable. The coffee itself is wonderful and Ive been rather tempted by their baked goods. Also they make their syrups, as somone with some odd allergies this was a real treat. I normally cannot get flavors.
I want to like this place so much! Coffee and baked goods are very yummy, but something about the vibe in here is just not welcoming. Ive gone in several times now and every time, it just feels like im intruding on something.
Awful coffee. Just swung by to pick up a cold brew with my wife and it was extremely bitter. Ive had better going through a drive through coffee shop, which is mediocre at best. The fact this place has good reviews says more about Medford than the shop itself. As long as it looks unique and hip the herd will show up. Disappointed.
Loved this coffee place. Very good pricing and coffee was amazing! They make some syrups in house and also make their own almond milk.
Excellent coffee, great atmosphere, food and Friendly service!
Great coffee and friendly staff! The outside (heated) seating area is a major win too.
Best Flat White Ive ever had 👍😋
Excellent coffee. Wonderful service. Reasonable prices! Free refills on drip while chilling here soaking in the wonderful lighting and plants! Keep up the good work, this place is one of the best coffeehouses in Medford! Highly recommend!
When you first walk in, the delicious smell of coffee drifts towards you. All of your favorite tastes are available and the people are friendly and helpful. Nice bright windows offer you a place to relax, conduct business or something. Outside seating is available for your pleasure. Parking can be tricky though.
Great coffee, ping pong and plants. Perfect way to spend an hour enjoying delicious drinks, beautiful plants and kind servers
Best Americano in the Rogue Valley.
We used to come here often, and with the two week freeze due COVID 19 of course we wanted to support local, but to our surprise when walking in we found ourselves with a full house all tables taken, no social distance, no mask required nor anyone wearing it including barista and no hand sanitizer, as a nurse I couldn’t believe lots of local businesses had to follow rules to slow down the curve and they’re going to be affected and this coffee shop is doesn’t seem to understand to COVID 19 situation, really selfish people.I’ll no longer support this business.
Unique service and accommodating options
Good local spot for coffee and a chat. outdoor seating is available most of the time and is mostly shaded
Great coffee shop, and apparently one of the only opened early on Saturday morning! They use toddy process for cold Brew and it was spot on. Looks like they converted an old gas station into a coffee shop with some stellar interior decorating. Definitely worth a trip if you are in town. The married fruity bran muffin was delicious.
Great vibe, lots of plants and merchandise. The coffee and tea is always fresh and delicious!
A superb roast with bright tones, surprisingly rich and yet smooth. Their coffee matches the atmosphere, and the staff is warm and friendly. A great addition to the neighborhood and hopefully, a sign of great things to come. It is about time we had something this good here. We deserve it.
Stopped by by this cozy place this Friday. Almost want to keep it a secret. Great spot to hang out and work, fantastic coffee, great service. Jakob and Storm are super chill, they builded the place from ground up, out of old service shop. Place Has these huge roll up window doors that makes it look nice and open has bunch of comfy seats, not to mention famous Hanging Egg seat.Best time to visit any time!Come and enjoy proper made coffee and delicious pastries and vibrant atmosphere if you down for some good time.
They use Case coffee. They serve a great latte and they have some unique baked goods. I would definitely recommend the fennel and goat cheese scones. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It can get a little cramped during busy hours but its right next to the park so you can grab a coffee and enjoy a walk through Hawthorne.
Who doesnt want to start reclaiming this part of town? Situated directly across from dicey Hawthorne Park, plenty of interesting people watching from this newly opened coffee shop. Espresso and vibe both good. Would come back again.
Delicious coffee. Yummy baked goods. Also the atmosphere is great partly because of the awesome decor but mostly the amazing staff. If you want a coffee place that doesnt just treat you like another order stop here and support a local business.
