I really enjoyed drinking my coffee at Mystic Coffee Roaster cafeteria for the first time. My friend also liked her coffee specialty. The coffee has authentic organic taste and it was a blend of three different types. Outstanding service and beautiful art accomplished the wonderful experience! Thank you very much!

Top notch coffee! This coming from a self proclaimed coffee snob. So much goes into the making of a great espresso drink and the synergy was there that day. I would definitely go back and recommend it to others. I was very pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere is nice and cozy and the pastries looked yummy although I did not partake.

I like theirs coffee so much! Fun and polite baristas, good food. Usually exhibitions of works by artists are held on walls. Have some parking.

This is a nice coffee shop situated in the center of Medford Square. Great location close to a bunch of bus stops and a lot of other restaurants if youre feeling peckish after your coffee.The coffee is good by me... then again most coffee is good by me... but what I really like about this place is the quiet intimate atmosphere, the friendly service, and the interesting decor. Its a great place to sit down and chat with a friend, or you can get some work done. There are seats by the windows if you want some sun or tables along the walls if youre looking for shade, plus theyve got a good array of magazines if you havent brought anything of your own to do.Good pastries as well. Highly recommend for a coffee and a quick bite if youre in the area.

Tasty vanilla lattes, but would not recommend their bagels/egg sandwiches. Eggs and bacon are definitely microwaved and the bagel was mediocre.

This little coffee shop is great! I love coming here for the delicious brews, but I always come back for the friendly staff. Always polite and pleasant even when you cant open your eyes in the morning.No 5 star just because its small, and usually pretty busy (which is good for them). This means that occasionally the wait time suffers so if youre in a hurry avoid peak coffee hours here and come for your mid-morning boost.

I like the place and regularly take a coffee there but the guy barista don’t know how to make coffee. Last time I had to trash all of it because it was impossible to drink. I understand he might be new so please give him a proper training!

Simple things like an egg & cheese croissant, a chocolate chip muffin and a flat white are done just right.

Cute, friendly and a great place to hang out! The coffee is hot and fresh with great sandwiches to go with it....plus such a variety of speciality drinks (hot and cold) and smoothies! Plenty of regulars who meet there for socializing and work breaks. So many choices ......each visit is for something different!

So far I like their coffee & lattes and look forward to trying more drinks. Ive had their quiche and didnt like it at all-it was just like a souffle, not like a quiche. But I love this shop!

Baristas are super helpful, but the honey latte I got was terrible. The beans were clearly burnt to a crisp from the taste, and there were coffee grounds at the bottom of my drink. Not a big fan of gritty burnt coffee.

I was expecting an awesome coffee shop for 4.6 stars. Nope. It is really small and cramped, and did not feel clean. My bagel tasted like a grocery store bagel. The young gal that took my order also had trouble listening. Our conversation:Me: Ill take a medium mystic fog and an everything bagel with cream cheese.Her: Ok, what size mystic fog do you want?Me: Medium...Her: Do you want cream cheese with your bagel?Me: Yeah...I did enjoy my London fog though, hence the 2 stars instead of 1.

Our go to coffee shop in the area. Best iced coffee around, and weve tried a ton of places. There food selection is ok but not great. They dont open until 7 though, and later on weekends. Staff is fairly friendly and they have a nice punch card to earn free drinks

Some of the best beans in the Boston area, and at reasonable prices too! They even sell green beans if you want to try roasting at home. The shop itself is small and doesnt have much seating, but who cares when the coffee is this good!

This is my #1 go-to coffee place after school! Their coffees are rich in flavor and thick, just how I like my coffee. They also have great smoothies. If youre not sure what you want to drink, I would recommend the iced caramel latte (I like mine black eye, especially for school), the mango smoothie, the pineapple coconut smoothie, or the hot chocolate. They also have pastries from the Danish Pastry House, a little bakery/coffee joint in Hillside near Tufts, which sells coffee that is frankly a bit too watery for my taste, but they have amazing goodies such as chocolate croissants, icing snails, and more that are readily available at Mystic Coffee. I think its very nice that they are helping each other out. The inside decor is very cozy and Ive never had a problem with the smell as one reviewer mentioned. They have an open kitchen and its fun to see the workers make coffee in plain sight. They also have punch cards which make the 7th drink free so dont forget to grab one of those. Ive seen 4 workers at Mystic Coffee so far and all of them have been very polite and friendly and I really appreciate that No one wants a grumpy worker half-heartedly making your coffee. All in all, if I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Enjoy your coffee!~

Would not recommend as a breakfast place. Had an awful first experience.Stopped in on a Saturday morning, looking to grab coffee and a bite. The only people in the place had already been served. Two large iced coffees and two bagels were approximately what you would pay for it at Dunks, but it took 8 minutes to get my bagels despite the fact that there were 3 employees working. Meanwhile 3 other customers had come in and had been served their coffee. On top of the long wait, both bagels were incredibly stale (the top half of the bagels were crunchy and inedible) and they didnt even schmear it!The only redeeming quality of this place is that the coffee was decent. But thats a requirement of a coffee shop, not a bonus, and something that anyone can do with the right beans. I understand that this place has high reviews for the pleasant staff, but that is not enough to get me to go back.

The owner is charming.A few years ago, after lattes with off-flavors followed by one that was plain undrinkable, I stopped going entirely. Today I wanted to compare it to Demets Donuts -- and, sad to say, the coffee I got from Demets is better. The one from Mystic has strangely acrid off flavors. I like my coffee strong, too, but I just dont want to drink this one.The croissant was tasty, buttery, and croissant-shaped, but it was not even a little bit flaky, it was bready. I enjoyed eating it certainly. It was delightful, but strangely not really a croissant.
