Ms. Mary is the real deal teacherHappy my daughter has been taught by her for over 5 years now

Mrs Mary is amazing! Shes incredibly knowledgeable, not just about ballet but also about teaching. My kids adore her and theyre learning so much.

Words cannot express the exponential talent, love and teaching that goes on here with Mary and her team.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Mary Cowden-Snyder has danced professionally and taught at universities, and she teaches her students all different styles of classical ballet. Her classes have open and friendly atmospheres, and working with dancers of all different ages in productions has been the highlight of much of my teenage years. I would highly recommend everyone interested in dance to come to the Dance Arts Center.

I could not be more happy with they way Mary and the other Ladies construct the ballet classes. They have the patience and gentleness that it takes to teach a little class full of three year olds! We absolutely love it here!

I have a GREAT review for Mary and Mary alone..... My daughter LOVED dancing with Mary. It was what she looked forward to all week, we had went to a few other dance studios but I do not think any of them understand children like Mary! She is amazing and talented and wonderful with Children..... I have NO complaints about her. However I will NEVER EVER go to her establishment again. One of her office staff women..... the younger one is VERY RUDE!. I do have to say I was warned about her ahead of time and I thought to myself oh people can be so judgemental but no they were right. There were a multitude of times I was spoken down to by her and I do not stand for that. We were paying customers. I think she needs a class in customer service and how to speak people in a respectful manner. Since we have no longer decided to go here my daughter is Crushed! But this Momma does not stand for that. I will not be spoken to like I am slow.....or beneath her........ I spend literally hundreds of dollars in the clothing shop. But because of a disagreement with the office woman and the way she spoke to me I will NEVER take any of my children there again..... I have since seen people we went to class with there who say the same thing...... She just isnt the nicest person. I think her behavior hurts the establishment. Maybe she is just a bit to comfy with her position.......

My mother enrolled me in lessons when I was three, I enrolled my daughter when she was three and to this day we are all still dancing with Mary. This is a studio that is welcoming to all ages and skill levels!

Mary Cowden Synder is an amazingly talented dance teacher. Her attention to detail is impressive. The students at her school love her. Medford Dance Arts Center is also home to the Medford Civic Ballet.
