Recently tried to shop here and was thrown out when my husband who is a disabled veteran declined to wear a mask. Have shopped here without a mask before without a problem. We told the associate we would inform the community of their un-accommodating stance. Would not recommend shopping here if you want a friendly and welcoming experience.

This place is fantastic from the grocery store to the Cafe, everyone has a very loving and genuine feel about them. Every person that works at this place works very hard, and it is evident in their craft. I am a little biased towards the Cafe portion, but that is only because of the wonderful group of individuals I had the pleasure to work with. The people who work there posses passion for other people, they want the customer to have the best experience possible. If they make a mistake, they are the first to correct it and offer a gift of some sort at no charge, along with excellent customer service. The baked goods are incredible. The sandwiches are well worth every penny. And any money you spend in either the grocery store or the Cafe is money well spent. Both the managers of the grocery store and of the Cafe exhibit above and beyond customer service behaviors. This place is a staple in this community because of the strong men and women who run that store and love every customer and employee the same on the way in as on the way out. Check out the Cafe, I know they were making renovations, and I imagine it looks fantastic. 5 stars people, 5 star experience, five star customer service 👌

The food was excellent and I really enjoyed the stew. They have options for vegetarians and vegans as well if youre into that sort of thing. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because of the cost. Lunch added up very quickly. But the food was very good.

I visited here for the first time. The selection is not bad, and the staff very friendly. The only problem I had was that the parking lot is small and very crowded. A staff member was out there directing traffic to keep it under control. Not the kind of hassle one once when they go shopping. However, they are very conveniently located for that area of town and definitely worth checking out.

Friendly service, lots of experienced advice. The prices arent any worse than quality items in other stores. This is the place to go to when youre finally ready to eat healthy and break the cycle of Corp America slowly poisoning you and your family.

This store has to be one of the prettiest grocery stores in Jackson County! Also, you can have a free organic banana on the house. Cant beat that! The prices are slightly more expensive than Ashland Coop, but if you happen to be in the area, it is worthwhile to come here. The have also recently made a cafe, which has a few things on the menu we can eat and enjoy as organic gluten-free vegans.

I love Medford food Co-op cuz I always find what I want there, as long as I go there first. What I mean by that is if I go somewhere else first and buy it, well,I regret cuz theyve got it here and its better quality and its better price. Its a good place to pick up chicks too.

I went in to the cafe not knowing what it is I like (my coworker gets me coffee there a lot) and the staff was super helpful and made sure we left happy! Definitely worth the extra to have gooooooooood coffee made by really nice people 😊

Have you been to the store before and it is cool. not only can you find what youre looking for you can find some new healthy choices and put some variety in your life. The organic vegetables were fresher than Ive seen it most local stores. It also wasnt a limited variety. They had everything we were looking for in the produce department and also packaged goods. They have high quality dairy products and some very interesting varieties of cheese. The story is really clean. The staff was pretty darn friendly. Off the street parking which helps in downtown Medford. Keep up the good work I will be back.

How have I not been here before?? I decided to try out the cafe and got the Plant Power sandwich and a slice of vegansweet potato pie.. It was so good!!! The sandwich had their house made hummus with veggies and pesto sauce on it, and the bread was soo good. The sweet potato pie didnt disappoint either, it wasnt too sweet and the crust was yummy. Definitely going here again :)

This is a super little store! They have a lot of unique and familiar products (don’t take a shopping list—just grab a basket and explore!), and I’m amazed how much variety there is in a relatively small space. You’ll find both fresh, refrigerated, and pantry staples, plus snacks and treats, baking supplies (natural dye sprinkles, anyone?), and a lovely produce section.I found lots to buy; my only disappointment were the fresh apricots. They looked beautiful but almost too much so, because the lack of apricot scent didn’t match the vibrant color. I should have known better than to buy them—I grow apricots; I know how they should look, smell, and feel, but I did, and not only did they never get to the just-soft-enough stage, they had zero flavor. Absolutely none. I’m still puzzled by how the apricots ended up like this (colorful, too firm, and flavorless. Refrigerated before ripening?), and how they allowed them on their produce display. (As you can tell, I’m still annoyed by it.)But visit the store just the same ... really! It’s lovely and inviting.

In the little cafe, Food is way too pricey, and they only have Stevia for sugar.i havent been in the market. Sorry for the confusion.

I like the quality of food however, we donate to charity ourselves, yet the co-op wants us to donate for them too. Like us, they should make their own donations as opposed to begging for our change to donate in their name. Yes, it’s just change. They ask out loud in order to pressure us. They can put out a box for voluntary donations. Instead they want to embarrass those who say no and make us look like we are cold hearted. I would be ashamed to be a member.

This is my happy place! I LOVE shopping here. Everyone is so knowledgeable & nice! Its small and slower placed then the large cooperations but has absolutely everything I need and more! I feel comfortable shopping here because I know I can trust the buying decisions made here. Its important to me, not only that products are mostly local & organic, but also chosen from farming companies with compassionate & sustainable practices. I am happy to call this my #1 grocery store!

Love the Medford Co-op for the produce selection. Bought a bounty of peaches and plums for the kids and picked up some daikon radishes to make some fries.

Not a member but they have things you just cant get anywhere else, and the people will help you even if they are busy with other things. They will go out of their way to answer your questions. Very impressed with the whole place

I almost always have great experiences here, but if you want to order the gluten free and vegan bread at the cafe counter you may have to repeat yourself a lot to make sure the order is correct. I come here more than twice a week on average and am extremely shocked at how adamant I have to be about my bread order. I love the atmosphere and the employees are friendly, but you guys specialize in allergen friendly foods, its hard to keep coming back when half the time my sandwich is made wrong.

I like the idea of this place in Medford and I like the concept and the fresh greens and veggies and fruit but the energy in this store is terrible. You feel watched and not trusted while walking around like you are stealing! You also notice obviously that the staff here is so unhappy working here and they have such a huge turn over. Too many new faces all the time . Something is off and management should definitely make some changes to make this place feel like a friendly live energetic place

This place has so many vegan/vegetarian meat replacement items! Wide variety of local organic foods at good prices! We were even able to find Strauss milk! The staff were very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend it!

Nice to have organic prepared foods in a clean chill environment. The warm meals at salad bar are surprisingly tasty. Basic but clean eating area. Servers are great. I hope this place sticks around.

Organic food, good variety of produce, meat, etc. Much is locally sourced. Smaller venue than Ashland coop but good overall selection. They also have a small lunch cafe on site.

Horrible. I’m a white male standing in line and the female cashier completely ignores me and calls the female customer behind up to order. I was clearly in line. Even the customer behind me acknowledged that I was in line. I guess the sign on the front door that says they accept all genders doesn’t apply to white males.

The coop has the best quality produce around. Even if I am getting things elsewhere I will try to wait and get my produce here. It also has a good community feel. While the prices are higher than some grocery stores in Medford, you get what you pay for. I think it is still a bit cheaper than the coop in Ashland, too.

I love this place! A real old school Co-op. Not like the overpriced weirdo-festival that is constantly taking place at the Ashland Co-op! People here at the Medford Co-op are nice, nonjudgmental and actually know how to park too. You dont have to be dressed in environmentally conscious Festival clothes to shop either. Great place, good beer and wine selection too.

Beautiful and well stocked health food store! Local is king here, as is organic. Delicious hand made soup, artisan kumbucha and a deli. All for fair prices. And Kettle chips 2 for $5! Cheapest Ive ever seen.They say there will soon be a restaurant too!

If youre looking for a healthy alternate store to buy high-quality Foods this is the place for you! They also carry a lot of homeopathic items that you cant find anywhere else.

Great staff,vegan breakfast burritos are off the chain, and they always a great produce selection.Only downside is prices are a bit steep. Like 7 bucks for a a pretty basic vegan sandwich.

I really enjoyed this health food store. They have a great selection of items, some very unique and the people who work there are super helpful. Wish we had one closer to us - I would shop there weekly if there was.

Member-owned food cooperative right in the heart of Medford. Great selection of healthy local organic produce and products. Friendly staff is super helpful and maintain a great atmosphere. The restaurant attached to the coop has a great menu, free WiFi and a salad bar.

For a Coop this one has an odd entrance from the road, the area feels a bit misplaced and needs better surroundings.Not the most friendly staff either. Good stock of wholesome foods and delicious organic deli .

Excellent produce and alternative medicine. I love a detox they sell here and at great price. Friendly, fast, excellent costumer service!

Did not serve my partner, the only black man in the store. We waited 20 minutes IN LINE where the cashier somehow did not even look at my partner or acknowledge his existence, but found it incredibly easy to let a white woman check out before him. Then we waited ANOTHER 20 MINUTES wherein they just...never made his food. It then took ages to get his money refunded. In conclusion: trash place with trash people. Save your money and go somewhere where they respect their patrons.Let it be known that we were not causing a scene or being rude to anyone.

A wide variety of organic foods both fresh, packaged, even wines. If you are looking for something you cant find they probably have it. As can be expected the prices are higher than a regular grocery store, although Im not sure about the equivalency of organic food prices.

Great little coop to stop by if you need to grab a sandwich or drink on your way up or down I-5. Its a little cozy in there, but if you dont mind the reduced selection from a larger grocery store and the higher prices then this is the place for you. If you are gluten intolerant or choose to abstain from meat or animal products, then this is probably a good bet.

Love the co op anyway for groceries, but now there’s a cafe next door. Delicious meals, reasonable prices, and so many healthy options. New favorite lunch spot, for sure!
