Its been since 2004 that I was in Medford. Back then, Id buy beer everyday there at Rose Grocery from Julie Schnider. She had free coffee in those days... She married a guy, Scott Little, and ever now n then theyd have a cook out over where they lived... Those were some partying days fer sure. 17 yrs gone now. I can only imagine how everthings changed. Medford was a great town to kick back, drink beer and jam on guitars... I wish all the bros and sisters well....🍻

I have always liked this store. Average prices and usually amazing people. At least all the times i been there! Really caring and kind lady last time. She let me buy a couple homeless people coffee. Some places have told me i cant. As i was buying a cup and letting them choose what kind they wanted. It is across from the mens homeless shelter. But most of the guys are friendly or keep to themselves. The real bad guys wouldnt be there as they dont want to follow rules or get along with others. People trying to better themselves there. Anyways, great store. Found some amazing candy in there super cheap and i was stoked.

Gave 2 stars for the polite gentleman cashier and the older gal whom I enjoy talking to, and the fair prices. Other than that, I dont enjoy being harassed by homeless persons when I get out of my car.

Store has a new name, with new outrages prices. For a pound of sugar $2.59, a bag of coffee $9.99 elsewhere $3.99. A bag is 25 cents, 25 cents to use debit card. I, will NEVER return!!!! I just found out, the small store right up the street is owned by the same person!

Small, but convenient and fairly priced. Rose market is a genuine rival to major convenient store chain. They have everything the other convenient stores do, but are again fairly priced. If you live nearby then check them out.

Holy smokes! Best cherry coke in Southern Oregon :) Yes, i will go WAY out of my way just to grab a 44oz from Roses. I lived down the street for 3 years, so i know what im talking about. The strawberry soda is the kids favorite, and those dang gummy geckos find a way to go home with us every time. Support your local businesses, folks!

The place has a lot of stuff for a smaller store. Same prices as larger chains. Considering location and type of customers that generally populate the area the clerks are extremely kind to everyone. No bias

Fueling the drunken homeless problem in our neighborhood with cheap high octane malt liquor at affordable prices .Im less than a block away my self and when I first moved to the neighborhood its where I went for my needs, mostly cause the owner was super nice and seemed liked good peoples her employee cherel is a sweet heart too. Sadly towards the end of going there the help became worse quality of people employed who are more concerned with smoking and talking . Besides the great white they sell my standards refused to purchase anything else of that quality, its mostly bum supplies, they seem to always be hovering close by to trade in rifled cans and bottles for their next tall-cans & 40oz, they even trade mopping the floors for beer with the bums. I pity anyone who goes in and has to smell anything when theirs a line of drunken homeless addicts yuck ! I kept trying not to blame them but on some days these entilited bum dont even leave sight of the store and drink on peoples front door stoops and in front of business interrupting my street mostly. I even had a knife pulled on me from one of their customers who felt entitled to drink with his friends on my street so they were close enough to go back. They should focus on not polluting our community by enabling these degenerates with cheap beer, the lowest quality food items, letting them panhandle out front and should not be encouraging such behavior by trading work for beer. I wish they would stand up for the downtown and be apart of the solution like thrifty nifty a block down who refuses that clientele. Imagine if they did the problem would have to migrate.I truly wish they could truly see the problems they cause in our neighbor and be accountable to make a change to better downtown, we need it so desperately .Sorry but enough is enough!
