Great experience replacing carpet! We took our time with many samples and went with their recommendations once we narrowed down our selections. Excellent install - workers were clean, friendly and worked very hard. Amazing quality from the product to the service! I would highly recommend!

I worked with Mark in the Counter top section. He was very knowledgeable and helpful for a first time home buyer. I would recommend him to anyone looking to replace counter tops. From start to finish the process took me about 2.5 weeks from picking the counter, to measuring, to install. This was a great experience and I plan on using National Design Mart for the rest of my remodel.

Ordered cabinets from here back in May and still have not received my full order. Of the cabinets I ordered and received some were damaged. The remaining outstanding items National Design has shown no urgency to expedite the parts. I would stay far away if you are planning on buying cabinets.

Great experience walking through the giant one-stop shop showroom. We drove in from over an hour away and it was absolutely worth the trip. Competitive pricing. Definitely recommend to anyone looking at flooring, countertops, cabinets and even furniture. Even have a supervised kids play area. Great customer service. Karl was our flooring sales associate (very knowledgeable) and helped guide us through the process. We picked out our luxury vinyl plank, carpet and scheduled our flooring measurements in less then an hour!

The showroom is beautiful. The salesperson we worked with was very knowledgeable and helpful. The price was competitive. The installation was another story. We had three bathrooms and our kitchen completed. They forgot one of our slabs for our install with no information on when it would be installed. The demo of our marble countertops was a hack job in our master bath. So much so that the granite wasn’t installed properly. It took several phone calls, pictures, a video, and stopping payment to get someone to respond. Finally 11 days after the initial install they brought the piece they forgot and fixed our master bath. The damage to our walls in the master bathroom was insane. We were told that we would need to hire a contractor to fix any minor damage but minor doesn’t describe a demo so bad that they ripped 8 inches of drywall paper off the wall. Not wallpaper. It was a painted wall that they stripped the drywall paper off. My husband had to prepare the wall so that they could install the backsplash properly on the return visit. We won’t be back.

We had a good experience shopping and purchasing our new wood flooring.The expanse selection of products for floors was a surprise. Much better then any other store we shopped at. The friendliness and expertise of all employees made it a fun and rewarding experience. I even found some nice decor item. I have recommend National Design Mart to numerous people.

Its worth the drive! A full service provider of flooring and surfaces. This is the place to go to see what your options are.You really can make a decision about materials by looking online. Your screen, no matter how awesome, wont b give you an understanding of what the material looks like from different angles and lighting.They have TONS of samples and lots of material in stock. The staff is helpful and respectful of your need to browse, but was always a wave away to summon help.Lastly, the prices were good. This is the place youre looking for if youre looking to explore your options!

My husband and I love that store..first time in to look at granite colors which we had no idea about granite. The lady at the door asked what we were looking for. Had a very nice man ..Tony came to get us. Explained so much to us..took his time..it was just the most fun..

Very disappointed. When you walk in they tell you that if you have any questions when walking around come back up front and they will get you a salesperson. This place is very big. I walked to the far end where the flooring was. I was just along with a friend but when I got to the flooring I did have a question, as I will be getting new flooring but you have to walk back up front, they will call a salesperson and then you walk all the way back. I happen to have injured my back. By the time I walked back to the front, having 2 salespeople pass me without a smile, I had it. Thats not customer service.

Let me start by saying that initially, our experience was positive, sales person was informative. However, thats when the good experience ended. I was in the market for new countertops and was able to find a slab that looked great on our first visit. From there, there were a host of issues. 1. the sales person forgot to give the care instructions until the end of our 2.5 hr visit, putting the responsibility on the measuring person to get the paperwork from me when they came out to my house. (they did not take the paperwork). 2. I was informed beforehand that anyone from their center would be wearing masks when in my home, all parties showed up unmasked 3. I informed the initial salesperson as well as the measuring pro about the fact that I have cats to ensure that anyone coming would be safe in my home. Fast forward to install day where I took an entire day off work and then 2 of the 3 people who came to install are severely allergic to cats and they proceed to leave. They did eventually come back which I appreciate, after calls to the salesperson and their supervisor. I did ensure windows were opened and fans on to keep the area more clear of allergens. 4. Then I received repeated calls from the salesperson wanting to know when they were getting payment. Not sure about all you readers, but any other service of a trade I have had requires payment upon completion, not payment before you even know if the job was performed correctly, not to mention this was not told to me until less than 24 hours before the install. No issue with us paying, just trying to improve a frustrating process.To end this incredibly disappointing experience, the manager of the salesperson blamed everything on the man who came to measure the countertops, took zero responsibility.

Buyer beware!!! I sincerely regret doing business with this professional company. I cant undo whats been done but I can let people know what happened and hopefully help them avoid the headaches, sleepless nights, and thousands of dollars thrown down the drain!Our mistake:We trusted their in-store experts - if you decide to go with this company PLEASE do your research BEFORE signing anything! Theres a reason why they can give better deals than their competitors. They make up the money elsewhere…What happened:We went to several different flooring companies and thought we liked National Design Mart best. They had a great sales woman and gave us the best offer. They sent a professional out to measure and take photos of our living room and gave us the price for installing our new carpet. They sent us the paperwork which included a drawing of our living room. It looked good to us and we trusted that the professionals knew best. When the installer came out (third party- PHENOMENAL guy) refused to install the carpet because of the seam location. The seam was placed almost directly on the walking path / high traffic area. The installer let us know that this was beyond bad and one of the biggest no nos in carpet install. A simple google search confirmed this. He was at our home for over an hour waiting for National Design Mart to respond- thinking that they were going to make this right… They wouldnt return our calls and when they finally did all they said was that we signed off on it. They never once brought up seam placement. Never told us it was important. Never asked us where we wanted the seams placed. They said absolutely nothing about it. We didnt know it was important or that we had to ask them about it. We trusted that they were the experts and that they knew best. We tried to work with them to figure out a solution but they already had our money and thats clearly all they care about. They refused to send a new piece of carpet (its pre-cut) and had the installer put in what we signed/agreed to. We asked that they replace the carpet, or that they give us some money back, or that they simply guarantee the seam for the life of the carpet. Nope. Nada. Nothing. They did send a really nice spokesperson out to the house to chat with us but he wasnt allowed to give his opinion or make any decisions. Great guy but a smile and a friendly conversation doesnt help the fact that our carpets life span was cut in half. They obviously know seam placement is important but if they can trick customers into putting it in high traffic areas then its a win win for them. They save money on materials and they know the carpet will need replaced in half the time. If you’re an expert on flooring and know then you may have a good experience with this company but I highly recommend you go elsewhere. They are not trustworthy. They are not professionals. They do not care about their customers. They do not care about doing the right thing. They do not care about anything other than their bottom line.Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!

This is not a place for do-it-yourselfers. We walked in and quickly found some tile that we wanted to purchase. We went to the front desk and asked if we could check out. We were told wed have to wait for a salesperson to help us. We had to ask for salesperson twice because after waiting for about 10 minutes no one showed up. The salesperson was friendly. No problem there. He wrote down what we wanted and he went back to his cubicle to make the purchase for us. We fully expected to pick up our tile and walk out the front door but no. Thats not how they operate. You have to go around to the back of the building and pick it up. We did this. After 10 minutes we went inside and the person behind the desk said sorry it wasnt ready yet. Another 10 minutes went by. Tried again. After 35 minutes we finally received our order. This is completely unacceptable. I cant say we will never go back here because I just dont say never. But it is highly unlikely we will return. If you want somebody to basically take you through the whole home improvement process you may want to give this place a go. But if you do it yourself dont bother.

This is a tough one because it depends on the salesperson you receive. The place has a ton of selection for any major project in your home. It’s so large that it can be overwhelming, unless you have the right person who is patient and knows the product. First time we went there, the salesperson was trash, but we knew what we were looking for and we made the purchase in spite of them. Good product, right price. The second time we went back was for new countertops and our sales woman, Pam; was super helpful and patient. We went back a few times before our decision and exploring other vendors, but she was most helpful and the prices were the same here as the other places. So new countertops we will have and will continue to shop there. We will see how installation goes...

National Design Mart is A+ ... many product options with great people and ownership. Karl from the sales team is top notch and helped us create our new basement. The family loves it!

Your company deserves ZERO stars! Stand up and take some ownership. Im your customer! I dont care about that its just blah, blah, blah. It is in your control to make it right with your customer. If a vendor is this bad then stop offering that vendor goods because it makes you look bad. I can come up with hundreds of different solutions. This is why its just not my frustration, its the fact that your company STINKS at customer service... that means serving YOUR CUSTOMER!

They have very high quality accessories for drawers and cabinets. There is a huge selection to choose from. We needed drawer handles and cabinet pulls for our kitchen cabinets. We looked around the whole store,too. Nice merchandise in the whole store. Lots of styles to choose from.

I shopped here for a tile backslash. They have a large selection. I was overwhelmed by the selection. The person who helped me was kind and enthusiastic, but had to riffle through everything as much as I did. I didnt find what I wanted (even though it might have been there) . I got frustrated an left.

I purchased carpet in 2016 from this store I called them about the fact it does not come clean after having it done professionally several times also doing it myself several times it’s a Monsanto carpet they sent out a representative from Monsanto who claimed it had a funny smell to it and feels it might be the floor underneath the carpet and padding which is BS because I had carpet down there for almost 20 years that I could shampoo and it was really nice the only reason I changed it was because I did some remodeling in the home they have not stood by it they pretty much have just ignored me trying to claim it’s my fault anybody comes here can see it’s day path of walking. Do not buy carpet from this place because they do not stand behind a warranty in my opinion

We remodeled our kitchen and loved working with Mary (our designer) She is so great to work with and very knowledgeable. Russel and Kim were our contacts on flooring and counter tops. Everyone was very responsive and helpful. The teams that came out to install everything were also great. We did have an issue with the caulk around the counter and back splash about 8 months after the job was complete. We called and they sent someone out within a week to fix it without hesitation. They even noticed something else that needed repaired that we had not noticed and fixed that as well!! Would recommend using National Design Mart! In fact, we are working on next project right now!!

Kitchen cabinets were represented as all wood but are particle board. The bottoms of the upper cabinets are unfinished and visible... apparently $10,000 doesnt qualify for a finished bottom. 🙄We told them our microwave size, they said they ordered a cabinet that would fit...they did not.The delivery was also a mess. Wrong dates. Trying to say they werent sure they would come out...when the cabinets had arrived over a week ago.We could have bought cabinets at Lowes or Home Depot and had better quality for a fraction of the price.Weve had no response from our efforts to contact them. Very disappointed. Huge waste of money. They dont know their products.Dont trust them. You have no way to tell if staff know what they are doing. And the managers hide when you try to hold them accountable.

The place has a lot of beautiful things. Make sure you go in with lots of time to spare. They must page people to help you. 30 minutes later we get someone. (It was NOT busy) Purchased our item. Its reserved for pick up the next afternoon. ( too big to fit in truck) We go pick up purchased/ paid for item. They sold it. To someone else in the morning. How does this happen? Not worth the time, effort or money. Customer service was terrible. No apologies. Do not recommend AT ALL!

A very large space but not a lot of product on the floor. Displays were minimal, furniture was over priced and so dusty. Maybe 3 saleman on a Saturday. I truly liked the old store better. Smaller, so much selection and so many sales people. Went for shaw carpet and all the rolls are mixed in and couldnt find but one roll of shaw.

I was referred to give them a call by my neighbor as I needed all new carpet put in my condo. After playing phone tag and not having my voice messages responded to for a day and a half I finally got in touch with Russel. We came in and picked out our carpet and scheduled for a measurement, although I Nicky unimpressed with the lack of customer service, and in stock carpet selection. Long story short they never called to let us know they were on the way to the measurement (though we told them no one would be there so we needed the call and would have run over as soon as we were called) when I called to find out what was going on I was told they had my number wrong (how did he call me the past week on the correct number?) and was rudely told “well that’s the number we have on file”. I ended up telling him I think I am going to go another direction since elsewhere had told me they could get me in for installation a whole week sooner (I was just trying to use them since my neighbor so highly recommended) and all of the sudden they could magically get me in sooner for installation. I cannot speak to the work they do or their other sales reps but as far as Russel’s customer service and representation of the company I would never recommend them.

We visited National a few months ago to look at Quartz countertops and were told that any slab that was cut would be at remnant price. Today when we visited we were told the policy changed two weeks ago and any decent slab would be full price. The sales guy, Mark Kulbaga was extremely rude and not helpful. When my husband challenged him he flat out said “we are done.” We just cannot deal with a company that is that rude to customers. He also tried to convince me I should be satisfied with a damaged remnant because it’s discounted.

Not a good experience with this company. First, they intentionally under bid my floor installation job and then demanded more money after they tore out my original floor. Then, they installed the wrong transition pieces and it took them 3 weeks to replace them.Then, they messed up the billing and recended their 1 yr same as cash deal through Wells Fargo. I recommend going elsewhere for flooring needs.

I purchased purchased $12000 worth of cabinets from them and their rep came out to measure everything. One of the cabinets was not the properly sized and would not fit. I notified them of this issue and they immediately said they probably wouldnt be able to do anything about it, but Tony the kitchen manager said he would look into it. He called me back while I was at work and left a message. I returned the call three times and have not gotten a return call. I assume that this is a lost cause. If anybody there can help me get this issue resolved that would be great and I would be happy to revise my review. But as it sits now I am ranking these guys one star because of a Mismeasured cabinet that I am going to have to get remade and probably wont match, and for inadequate ability to return calls. If you make a mistake, make it right. Thats just good business. If not, then youre reputation takes a hit. Welcome to business in 2020.

We got carpet, vinyl plank flooring, and tile from them and are very happy with the products. A Great Experience!We went to NDM last year after seeing it on TV. We were looking to replace flooring in the kitchen and ended up replacing carpeting in all the main living areas as well. We spoke with Russell in sales and he was very informative in explaining different options.We then met with designer, Mary. It was obvious she knew her stuff!! She did not just give us options, but really listened to understand our particular style. Mary was very thorough in requesting samples of existing furnishings, etc. as well as pictures. In the end, we selected flooring I would have never expected us to choose, but Mary was spot on! In addition she gave us some other options to consider to update the existing decor.Russell took over for the sale and coordinated the installation keeping us informed throughout the whole process.The installation team was friendly, efficient and cleaned up well afterwards.We were very pleased with everything and are now working on two more projects with them. National Design Mart is great and a bonus to have one stop shopping.

I am renovating my house. Started with bathrooms now I am working on the first floor. Everything is being remodeled. I can’t walk far didn’t know there was a flooring showroom way in the other part of the store. Asked two sep floor representatives for help picking vinyl flooring. No one ever mentioned this other showroom to me. There is a section in the front of the store that has flooring that is in stock. So this is why there are two sections. Found a lady to help last week she was going to check on stuff never heard back from her. They were going to have a manger call me last week never heard from him either. I came in one last time today to find a sample of flooring I found online here there was another display the lady never showed us last week. I told the front reception area. They didn’t care and the one lady rolled her eyes at me. TERRIBLE customer service.

Always fun to look around. They have a very large stock for countertops, and flooring. There are some interesting art pieces scattered throughout the store. The childrens area is a lot of fun. Very professionally run. Our child doesnt want to leave. On Black Friday they have Santa and Mrs. Claus. Best around and you get awesome photos!

Went here for a kitchen remodel and flooring for whole house. Not as many kitchens to see as in TV commercial. Drove amost 2 hrs and found out you needed appointment to speak anyone. Did look at flooring and prices since we have already looked else comparing apples to apples prices were better elsewhere on flooring. Wish they would have stated the appointment being necessary in advertisement.

I would highly recommend to all my family and friends to go National Design Mart for all their home improvement needs. My experience here has been excellent and will continue in the future to use them for all my updates. I shopped around and NDM far exceeds their competitors from sales, estimates and installation to quality of product and price!

We are very disappointed with the work done during our install, the dishonesty and the customer service. We saw a large amount of extra padding/carpet upstairs that had been rolled up and taped when the work was finished. When we asked for those rolls, the man on site said they had already left on another van. When we called customer service the next morning to discuss the issue, the woman told us that the installers said there was no carpet left, a different answer than the installer gave us onsite. She blew off our requests twice and we finally gave up on the company doing the right thing. Also, the installers had agreed to finish off the carpet in the bathrooms by rolling the carpet over and stapling it. By the time the work was done, it was dark and we could not see the finished product and the installation team had left before we could check it. The edges were not completed. It took five calls with Customer Service, pictures in an email to customer service, two emails to my Sales Rep (who never responded to any of my emails) and me contacting my credit card company to hold the payment before they finally scheduled someone to come on site to fix their work. They even tried to get out of fixing their work by saying the tack strip we had down wasnt right and thats why they didnt finish. When I told them that was added after their job was supposed to be finished so that didnt work as an excuse, they had no idea how to respond. With two situations of dishonesty and the lack of actual customer service, I was incredibly unsatisfied with my experience at National Design Mart. Phillip, who came on site to fix my carpet after all of this, was the only positive experience that I had with the company.

Went on Black Friday and was blown away. This place has a huge variety of everything you need to renovate, build or furnish your house. I purchased some flooring and am extremely happy with the selection. Took advantage of the Black Friday discounts and the hot cookies. Ms Kelly helped us with our selections and a tour. We bought our floor from them about 10 months ago, nick (management team ) got us a great deal, very friendly people, let you browse as long as you want without being down your throat, and the free snacks are always great, and have to mention the play area for kids. My boys love it, and the 2 women in there are absolutely wonderful, sorry not good with names, no hesitation whatsoever leaving the boys with them, and they even interacted with them, which is nice, instead of just being watched. Great job everyone, it is always a pleasure to come out, and if you dont find something, it is just nice to relax for a little while.

We contracted by National Design Mart for new flooring and tile work on a recent condo purchase. The experience had both highs and lows. The salesman did a great job helping us choose flooring products, and all the installers were prompt, courteous and highly professional. The tile installer, Joe, made two brilliant suggestions that vastly improved the appearance of our new fireplace surround. Unfortunately, the wrong width wood flooring was ordered and the quarter round was under measured, delaying that part of the project several weeks. We had to follow up continually to ascertain the status of the reordered flooring. Things only moved when we called. At one point we requested a callback from the store manager who did not respond--disappointing to say the least. When a project is prepaid in full, one would hope the company would be far more attentive. NEVER did they follow-up to determine our satisfaction with the completed project. Were very happy with the finished project, but less than enthused about our customer relations experience.

John Schnell was the associate that helped my wife and I narrow our selection of flooring for our family room. He was also very knowledgeable about how to tile and complete stairs and forwarded select you tube videos to help me through the process. Along with the videos, John also made a list of materials I would need as well. Although the job is not yet completed, I feel as though I have enough background knowledge to successfully get it done.

Great selection & great service! Pam was our designer & did a wonderful job helping us select our granite countertops. Wasn’t pushy like some sales people are & she also was fun! Also a shout out to George who helped us with the layout. Installers great too! Highly recommend!!

The last couple times in here it has gotten very different, you walk in now and are bombarded with a girl with a clipboard asking you 15 questions about why you are in the store. We came in to look at granite and flooring, went over by the granite desk where a lady was sitting there on her cell phone and didnt even look at us until we said something first. That being said our flooring salesman D.Wayne was great. He was very helpful and outgoing.

Long story...we went in to get countertops, were paired with Elizabeth who was helpful, and picked out granite. Completed the paperwork, and set an install date. Called a few days later to reschedule after a holiday weekend, instead of before to get the plumber in sooner. Assured that we were the first ones on the schedule and were all set. No contact at all leading up to the week prior, so I called them. Was told Elizabeth was no longer employed (large enough company to avoid pitfalls?), but that we were scheduled for the original/wrong date. Spoke with Ed (commercial salesman) who got it straightened out, or thats what I was told. He said we were on the schedule twice, but Brandy fixed it. Of course, the truck shows up the wrong day for install (came on the original date). We called the shop who said sorry, it was a miscommunication. Didnt hear from anyone again until they left a voicemail that install was between 12-2 on our date (guess we werent first on the list anymore). Guys showed up at 2:05 (outside the timeframe without a call). I actually called at 1:45 to find out why, spoke with Mark who told me they were close. After showing up late because they stopped for lunch, one of them asked to use the bathroom. Ends up taking a dump in my bathroom for 15 minutes. So unprofessional. I get that nature calls, but you were just eating, you couldnt go there? Called Mark again who said hed tell their direct boss. Showed up without the faucet we ordered and paid for too. Another person had to drive it over separately, and just showed as they were wrapping up. Called when they left and left a VM with Mark, but received no return call. Counter looks good, but after everything we went through, and the awful communication, I will not use them ever again or recommend them to anyone.

A big selection for vinyl, wood, and ceramic flooring options. They let you sign out a bunch of samples for seven days at a time, which is very useful. You can find some of the products cheaper online, but after shipping large amounts of tile.... The value starts to even out. Not everything has price tags, so youll need sales service. They are very helpful and nice.

Great place for cabinets, flooring granite and very cool furniture too! The place is crazy big place! As big as a Walmart. Everyone I talked to were nice and helpful. 2 thumbs up!!!

We purchased our bathroom vanity top through National Design Mart. When I walked in the door, I was helped promptly by Mark. They had exactly what I was looking for. At installation, the installers were prompt, curtious, and did a wonderful job. Everyone who sees our new bathroom asks where did you get this vanity top, its beautiful .

This place is awkward. They stop you at the door when you enter, you are “signed in”The ladies at the entrance are unfriendly and stiff. We stopped in after seeing commercials for this place. We bought an older home that needed remodeled and just wanted to browse through the store and get some ides for tile,flooring,cabinets,bathrooms etc.This place makes a shopper feel unwelcome to spend money.We drove to Columbus and shopped at Floors and Decor. I do not recommend this place.

Beautiful store with lots of staff to help. I also used the child care and had an excellent experience, the ladies were so sweet that took care of the little ones. I highly recommend national design mart!

Here’s a tip for you guys....... if you want to turn your sofa into a sofa bed.......just forget your wife’s birthday:/ Tremendous store and the best people here :))

Post update (11/20/2020)Finally got resolution on the cabinets with a partial refund of the ones that were ordered incorrectly. Thats all I wanted and it just took forever. Not going back to them for any business.Post update (10/5/2020)They can not get an order right! DO NOT BUY ANTHING FROM THIS STORE. They told me before the weekend that everything was in an on Monday morning (10.5.2020) the carpenter would be out to install. All he had was the skins that go on the sides of the cabinet. I asked about the quarter-round and he said he was informed they were already at my house. Which is wrong because I have a UPS tracking number that shows it shipped to their warehouse. Second item was that was never informed nor given the hardware to install the drawers fronts on the cabinets. National Design Mart ordered the wrong cabinets and still will not fix them! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.Post update (10/1/2020)Please do not buy cabinets from NDM. They should be focus on pushing a manufacture to treat them better. Youre their customer and should be pushing to get product as soon as possible and not just accepting They send us a truck ask to be the first drop off then. If you know my product is made, then please push to have it shipped. Again DO NOT BUY CABINETS FROM NDM.Post update (9/30/2020):Our cabinet order has been a disaster. The wrong cabinets were originally ordered and we werent informed that our cabinets were supposed to have painted side. We asked for the replacement to be rushed but nothing has come through (Its been 4 weeks). Multiple shipping dates were messed and repairs have been delayed, some of the parts were shipped via UPS but others have to go on some truck that actually never leaves when it is suppose to. DO NOT order cabinets from them. Apparently only the original person can help you. If they arent working a specific day then you have to wait until the come back because no one else can see your order. Again DO NOT order cabinets from them. NDM delivered our cabinets but didnt bother inspecting them first. Anyone with the order would have seen that the wrong cabinets were order if they simply order the box.Original post from May 2020: Havent order yet and will update. However the process has been amazing! They are super helpful and and know their stuff. Really enjoy it is a one stop for a little DIY if you want to but the cabinets in yourself. Looking forward to the shower install and floor! They do heated floors and warranty all their work!

Purchased granite for our new home the education we received was invaluable. Highly recommend visiting NDM before buildout remodeling.

I had my first visit to National Design Mart this afternoon. I absolutely loved the showrooms, I thought the store was very well organized and the staff was very friendly. I brought my two little ones with me today ages 3 and 4 and I put them in the child watch while I looked around. There are few places around that offer that service and it’s greatly appreciated. My kids had so much fun they didn’t want to leave. The staff in the child watch is wonderful and they even left with painted pumpkins today! You’ve created such an amazing atmosphere.

Takes forever to buy or return

Wonderful customer service. They contacted me immediately for online quote and came out soon thereafter to take measurements. Brad Jacin whom we worked with was excellent, very knowledgeable and prompt in returning all our inquiries. They have a vast selection and great pricing. The store has very modern decor and a beautiful layout.
