Hi Everyone,I just wanted to share our personal experience with Harbor City Auto....one word Awesome. We just bought our 2nd car from there and our experience was great from start to finish. First time was for our 17yr old daughter, 4yrs ago, needed something reliable, reasonably priced and not something too embarrassing to drive...lol. She ended up with a cute baby blue Hyundai Accent 2010..she was excited about the car, we were excited about the condition and cost. Four years later we happened to see my dream car on their lot. Hubby said lets stop and see how much, I said Really, have you lost your mind? My dream car is/was a corvette. Jerry (Sunshine) greeted us, gave us info about corvette, and then test drove it. We came back and worked out numbers. We traded our truck in for the corvette and we got a check back too. The Corvette 2002 is in amazing condition, low mileage, one owner and clean carfax. There were a couple of issues to be fixed, they quickly and graciously did them at no cost to us. So a huge shout out to Jerry, Don Jr., Don Sr. and Matt for making my dream a reality! I just purchased my 16 years olds first car and Dan, the salesman, made a believer out of me that genuine honesty can still be found. Just do yourself a favor and visit Dan first. Got real nasty when we started noticing all the rust damage they had attempted to cover up on the car we were interested in. When asked about the air bag recalls and if they had been done (they are FREE) they said they didnt know but that would be our responsibility if we bought itThat was the last straw. Oh, and FYI, if you want to have a used car looked at by a mechanic, they gave us a list of THEIR mechanics and said we would have to use one of those. RUN, DONT WALK!If you had a zero star rating, they would get it.

I worked with Don Jr, Don Sr, & another sales guy to buy a car. They were very efficient, I walked in that day test drove the car I wanted and was able to complete the purchase in the same day. The day after I brought it home there were some lights that appeared in the dash (these had come on when testing driving as well and they found a hose that was unhooked).When the lights came back on I called them and they immediately got me a rental car and sent my car to the shop and honored their warranty, they ended up paying the bill in full for the repairs and sent it to the honda dealership. With used cars theres always a chance something might be wrong but I really appreciate that they held their word and fixed the issue and set me up with a rental car.Their service and communication is superb. They also ensured all my plates and registration was done for me!! I would definitely buy a used car from them again!

I’ve always been worried about small car lots. My husband purchased a car from Harbor City 2 months ago. We had a issue with worn out motor mounts. Chris told my husband bring it in and we will fix the issue no problem. I’m just shocked and thrilled that Harbor City actually stood by their word! After a flustered day of dealing with big dealerships in Orlando, we decided to hit this place on the way home strictly based off the good reviews. We arrived and found a vehicle we were interested in and the gentlemen here tossed us the keys and told us to take it for a spin and make sure to take it on the highway.This was hugely refreshing as other dealerships, the car sales-person would be sitting in the vehicle with us, directing us where to go and what to do and we were unable to take it on the highway and it was stressful. This however; was a stress free, wonderful test drive. It was later in the day so we decided to come back the next morning and test drive one more vehicle we were looking at, we decided we wanted to purchase and Dan steam-rolled the purchase process and made it stress-free and easy.He got us the desired payment we wanted with the perfect money down.As we were leaving they told us if something doesnt smell, drive or look right that we could bring it back and theyd fix it. This ended up happening and we took it back due to an issue that made itself known after the first week, they replaced a part free of charge and sent us on our way. However, the issue ended up coming back and I ended up calling them over a month and half later and they told me to bring it in, and they replaced 3 parts that were several hundred dollars and sent me on my way.Vehicle runs like a dream now and I will have to say this was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences and they stand by their word to help you if you have an issue with the car you purchased. I would highly recommend and would love to purchase again from them in the future. Any other car dealership would tell you to get lost, Don, Dan and the rest of the team here were very helpful.

They were super nice and went out of their way to help us, they worked the numbers for us to get us the best loan option to finance and told us if we had any issues at all to come back and they would help us get it resolved. My experience buying a Toyota from Harbor City (on 8/24/20) was excellent and I wanted to leave a good review (I rarely bother to leave reviews). I must agree with the other great reviews here and with what they say on the dealership webpage. Chris was very helpful, and I felt no pressure to make any decisions.I took the car for a thorough test drive and check-out of the engine and noticed some rusted hose clamps. They replaced them with stainless steel clamps at no cost. After I got the car home, I had the chance to take a good look at its underside and noticed some corrosion on a few break-lines and fittings. I sent some pictures back to the dealership and they told me that they would replace them at no cost. It took about a month to ship the parts from Japan, but the dealership was true to their word. In fact, they replaced all the break-lines and fittings with new ones, not just the ones that really needed it.Thank you, Don and Chris, 9 weeks later and the car is still running fine with no issues.

This review refers to the dealership in Melbourne, Fl. This is the most reputable car dealership in Brevard County, and likely most of Florida. Hopefully, the style of management will not change. Their current management team is equitable, competent, and reasonable. I have experienced that they do not try to con or pressure their patrons.

So, I am sitting here - on a stool at Barnes & Noble in Melbourne - because I PROMISED that I would write a review of Harbor City Sales before the end of the day :) Where to begin? First, this newly purchased vehicle is a gift from my late Mother. Long story. Short version: Rose would LOVE this car! When we arrived (after much happy research into this dealership) to look at vehicles, I didnt know what I had in mind. Only that we had a financial window. No problem. Chris (adorable, helpful, efficient and to-the-wall accommodating) whipped out hands-on descriptions of a handful of possibilities. He was ON it! Because I had been an automobile salesperson in a previous lifetime (laughing here), I was drawn to the make and models that I had sold. They were really great. But then, my sister drew attention to a chocolate brown Chrysler - a 2013 200 - that quickly spun my head. The interior was plush and elegant. The ride was indescribable. I KNEW that this was The Ride. So did Chris. He made it happen as quickly and appropriately as possible - though we kept him much later than closing time (I am so grateful!) But it didnt end there, Friends. Because the car spent such a short time on the lot before the purchase, the Harbor City Auto Sales staff felt it necessary to clean, hone, and replace before they felt comfortable for me to full enjoy the best car that I ever had. So - are you ready? They had a special detail man arrive to smooth out and finish any imperfections. They filled the tank with gas - TWICE - because they knew that it was a bit of a distance from Cocoa to Melbourne. And they tested the car to make sure all was well - and asked if it was all right if they took the time to give me new brakes. What?! YES. Because, they said, their high standards demanded that I start fresh :) NOW you know why this company is the #1 customer rated dealership ANYWHERE! Chris needs to be mentioned again. He is a terrific salesperson. Without BEING a salesperson - and you KNOW what I mean. Hes young and energetic and so helpful that I cannot begin to say. Great service, great cars, family business, no pressure - ElantraJonWe were looking for a replacement car for my wifes 08 Miata, and my search for came down to either a Honda Civic or a Hyundai Elantra. I searched in a 50 mile radius of Melbourne and found many cars that fit the bill. The deciding factor was the way Don treated us at Harbor city. Very honest, and no hard sell. I noticed that the lot was full of low mileage, excellent condition vehicles, every vehicle was in excellent condition with low miles, some as low as 5000 miles. We talked price, I recently lost my job, and they were very honest about what they had invested in the car, and were willing to meet what I offered. They have a fully equipped garage, and will work with you on future needs. I felt nothing but trust there, and their follow up and post purchase response has convinced me this is my dealer for cars period. I have purchased many cars at dealerships over the past 40 years, this was the best transaction I have had. Again, the integrity and trust developed with these folks is priceless. I would recommend these folks to anyone wanting a very fair deal on a late model car to contact them. It does not matter if this is your first time buy, or you are a seasoned buyer, I am confident you will get the same fair and honest dealings with them. Amazing experience! They took all the stress out of buying a car. Never expected to be able to trust a car salesman before, but it was really painless. We’d been shopping for a new vehicle for our growing family for some time, but just never felt comfortable in any dealership with any salesman. My growing little family and I were in the market for a SUV/Van or something to be able to more easily transport our two kids and their friends as they get older. Quick online search, was super impressed by the reviews (this place has been around for a long time, I’ve been here a few years ago, and to maintain this positive reviews for years is *quite the feat, but it’s not by mistake!!), and they had the vehicle I was looking for in the right price range.Oddly enough, they just purchased it last week, and it wasn’t fully through their inbounding process. But I spoke to Dan over the phone, was extremely friendly and up front, he was going to do what he could to stay up on it. So we touched base the following day and we set up a time to see the vehicle and test drive it the day after.We get to the dealership and was greeted by the owner, Don Sr, who was also very friendly. (Remember how I said I was here years prior, it was when they still had a trailer on the property as their office which Don seemed to fondly remember, I remembered it because they had pictures of their customers and the reviews posted on the walls, but now they have two office buildings!) I was impressed that no one at any point pressured me to look at anything else - no one was trying to up sell me. Dan brought out the vehicle, showed me around it, and off we went on a test drive. Vehicle drove great, was in fantastic condition for a 2007 Highlander (with still a few things for the mechanic/detailer to touch up), so we gave it a shot.One of the factors in us purchasing another vehicle was we needed the monthly payments to be pretty low... but we had a really large down payment. My bank (stupidly) denied my pre-approval application, and the team including Dan and Don both worked hard to get me the loan with one of their partner banks cheaper than anticipated! I was pleasantly surprised and super stoked!! Along the process to get the purchase completed, we hit a small hiccup, but I was also impressed that Dan was willing and very cordial through the changes (even waiting a little bit to eat lunch as we finished paperwork 😉). Not only that, by this time we had both my kids with us and they were quite rambunctious. Still, my entire family was treated like we were a part of a Harbor City Auto Sales Family, even with my kids being “normal little toddlers.” That was abnormal to be treated with kindness and respect with toddlers, in the best way possible.I will update as the days go by, but I am at ease with their warranty policy and willingness to work on vehicles in house if any issues arise shortly (within 30 days) after purchase free of charge.Again, this business has been around for a long time and to maintain 5 star reviews throughout that time is not by mistake!! This was one of the best car buying experiences I’ve had, the ownership is top-notch, the team and special shout-out to Dan our salesman was entirely awesome! I have been looking to purchase a specific make and model slightly-used car for about a month from a reputable dealer for a very fair price. I have been to several dealerships and I have had numerous email and phone conversations with various dealers throughout Central Florida. After many wasted hours and days getting no where on price with all of the big dealerships, and having several negative car buying experiences in which dealers tried various trickery techniques on me, I stumbled upon Harbor City Auto Sales. I was hesitant to go to what I believed was a used car lot, but after skimming over all of the positive Google and Yelp reviews (much higher than any local large dealership) I decided to stop in. This was the smartest move I made during my entire search for that specific vehicle for a fair price. Harbor City Auto Sales had an incredible selection of slightly used vehicle for great prices. It is clear that they do not just buy any used car for resale; they must spend significant time making the right purchases to maintain a great inventory at attractive prices. Luckily, they had the exact car I have been looking for - 2 1/2 years old with only 20,000 miles and priced well under all of the other dealers to whom I have communicated. After a quick test drive, the very knowledgeable owner Don and the very helpful salesman Chris were able to lower the price even more than the already attractive asking price. Knowing there are no other dealers in the area who were offering this vehicle at this price I quickly agreed to make the purchase. After about 45 minutes easily dealing with the paperwork, the finance company, and the insurance company, I drove my new car off the lot and home with me. I am so thoroughly impressed with the entire car buying experience at Harbor City Auto Sales - I highly recommend anyone in the market for a slightly used car to stop in and see the staff there. This place is no typical used car lot.

Always heard great things about this dealership and decided to purchase my Camaro here but the car did happen to have a mechanical issue but don and his guys had their mechanic fix it right away and kept me updated and at no cost. Exceeded Expectations in every way! Prompt, Professional, Honest and Friendly. Best way to describe the experience was good old fashioned customer service. After looking online for weeks, I found they had the best prices anywhere. Rudy was quick to text pictures to me and answer all my questions. After I canceled my scheduled morning appointment, Rudy still took me later in the day even though he was working with two customers at the time. The 2010 Honda Accord I came for was just as advertised. The owner came by to speak with me before I left the dealership to make sure I was satisfied. Their dealer fee was almost half the price of other dealers and their were no hidden fees either. They continue to help you even after you have made the purchase too! This is the real deal folks. Dont pass them up! I drove 1 hour from Orlando and it was worth it! Update: Took the Accord into my local Honda dealer. They did a 52 point inspection on it. Told me everything checked out and I was sold a good car!

Best dealership Ive ever been to. They were so helpful, and really went out of their way to get me a good deal. They barely made any money off of my sale, putting it through the mechanics and making it affordable for me, so Id have a car to get my son and I places. I told them they didnt have to worry about cleaning it up, because theyd already spent more than I gave them at the mechanics, but they did anyway. Because they drove it to get cleaned up, they gave me 10 dollars for gas, even though they barely used any. They were really great, and made the whole process as easy as it could be for me. Id definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a car. Even if just to ask for help with finding one you had your heart set on. 10 out of 10.

I was getting ready to take a long trip and thought it might be time to upgrade from my current car which has 282,000+ miles. After searching online, there really wasnt anything in my price range that I wanted to consider. Harbor City Auto had the best deal on the car I was looking for. Even though it was out of my price range, I decided to stop by. Don was terrific to work with. The entire experience was very positive. I ended up leaving the dealership to discuss things with my wife to see if we could justify spending a little more to purchase the car. In the end we decided not to buy it. When I called Don to tell him, he was still extremely nice (even though I was calling to tell him we would NOT be buying the car). He even remembered my 4yos name and ended the conversation by thanking me for calling, telling me it was nice meeting me and my 4yo (again, he actually stated her name), and wishing me a pleasant day. I saw a car on the lot while driving by I thought might be suitable for my step-daughter so I stopped in to take a quick look. The salesman was not pushy, didnt ask for my name, contact information, etc. I said I might be back and would bring my husband. We returned the next day and bought the car. The buying experience was made simple with no up-selling. In fact, the salesman showed me a car with lower miles that cost less that they had just gotten in that was in the back being detailed. I wasnt interested in that model (as we wanted to get a comparable model to my step-son) but I thought that was a stand-up action. The price of the Nissan was very reasonable and there were no hidden charges. After the sale, we became even more impressed to learn of continued discounts we would be eligible to receive. I highly recommend this dealer and would buy from them again.
