No complaints at all, Sales rep was very knowledgeable about product line, and although length of time to get the product shipped was excessive this was not any fault of theirs, more so a product of the backlog of orders from the pandemic . They made sure that I was updated during the entire time, and when the equipment arrived they quickly set a time for delivery and they delivered exactly at the time they said they would/ Diego their delivery person was excellent, he called prior to arrival, was on time and very professional, he had our equipment assembled in no time and made sure to go over the unit with us and answer any questions before he left. After receiving no help during our first experience at the Melbourne Frst Place Fitness, Equipment store, we gave the place a second chance and went while Adam was working instead of the girl that was there initially. What a difference!! He was so, so helpful...spending time explaining and demonstrating the equipment and helping us decide what would be best for us. We purchased a home gym and received it very quickly. Addition, the delivery person was very polite and professionalI would highly recommend this store but would make sure to go only when Adam is working.

Justin and his team were professional, efficient, clean, and made sure to protect our home while setting up the Precor AMT 835 in our house. I had an excellent experience at first place fitness from my first inquiry over the phone, to my store visit, to installation. Adam met me in his off time to describe the different elliptical products . He was knowledgeable, polite, and enthusiastic. There was no pressure and in the end we purchased the precor AMT 835. The machine was delivered within a few days. Delivery and installation were excellent. The installers were patient, clean, and took their time to protect the surroundings in our home. I was in the market for some cardio exercise equipment for my home. I went in, tried multiple machines, corresponded for a couple of weeks, and ultimately decided on one that I really liked. I worked with Adam there who was great. No pressure, was able to answer most of my questions and they even were able to deliver the next day though I dont think thats the norm. I would definitely go back here again. Oh yeah, and the price was the better than I could find anywhere else.

I had a great experience purchasing a treadmill here. Everything went smoothly from the purchasing to the delivery and setup. The store manager, Adam, was exceptionally helpful. Their prices was better than what I found on the internet for the same equipment. Im very pleased with the whole experience.

We had a tremendous experience with Adam Sands - we went in looking at upright elliptically - he walked us through all the models - then we asked what he uses and he showed us the octane elliptical recumbent bike thing - we liked it so bought it instead -could not be HAPPIER ! Best decision - Adam is great - he doesn’t try to “sell” with high pressure - he walks you through everything and worked a great deal for us on our decision - highly recommended !

I was looking for a stationary bike and I spoke with Trevor at the Jacksonville store over the phone. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and I was able to purchase the perfect bike for me. Their excellent delivery service people had the bike up and running in my condo 2 days later. I was in the market for a commercial grade elliptical machine and wanted to deal with a local family-owned business and not an online store. I was referred to First Place Fitness by a friend of mine and decided to contact them first. I called and spoke with Adam on the phone. He was knowledgeable, friendly and had a few options in my product/price range in inventory.I went to the store and was quite impressed. They had an extensive display of several top-name equipment brands under one roof. Normally, a store would represent 1-2 top brands due to conflicting interest, so I was pleasantly surprised. Adam spent a good amount of time with me and we looked at several elliptical machines. He was very candid about the features and quality of each machine and even guided my attention to some less expensive alternatives that may suit my needs AND save some money. The store itself is very clean, laid out nicely and they have many options for all workout equipment. NOTE: Bring comfortable shoes so you can try out the equipment!Ultimately, I purchased the higher priced item since I wanted those features. Adam prices the machines competitively with online retailers and showed me what they were selling for online. He worked his magic with his delivery person to ensure that the machine was delivered the SAME DAY!!! The installation was smooth and the delivery person/installer was professional, friendly, and VERY meticulous about the installation.I was completely happy with my dealings with Adam and First Place Fitness Equipment. I disagree with some of the negative reviews here since Adam was completely transparent with regards to features, comparisons and pricing. He actually thought the less expensive option would work. He is probably correct, but Im happy with my purchase of the higher end machine.I would highly recommend them to others for their fitness equipment needs - whether commercial or residential. Let’s talk $$$’s first – the prices CANNOT be beat! They will match or beat any online or brick and mortar retailers for the same equipment. And while we are talking about equipment, they have a great selection of commercial grade workout equipment for you to test drive – and Adam encourages it. I initially went to the store to look at an elliptical that a friend had, but after a few days of online research to compare brands (and prices) and making multiple trips to the store to try them out again and again, I settled on another brand.Adam was wonderful, patient (thank you Adam), professional and answered all my questions – there was never pressure to buy, upgrade or up sell. The quality of professionalism followed through to delivery/installation as well. They arrived within the 2 hour window given and called prior with an ETA. I will echo what Joe said in his review -- they were friendly, courteous, and VERY meticulous about the installation.Great job Adam and team, you are “First Place” my book!

Adam (sales rep) provided expertise that we would not have received on Amazon. Adam was also willing to beat Amazon on price. That said, why buy online when you can support your local retailer? Personal support and instruction well worth the drive. I would do it again.

I had a good experience with this business. I purchased a new Precor Elliptical, replacing my old Precor. They have a huge selection of all kinds of machines so you can compare prices, features and try them out. It took about a week to get it delivered and set up which is pricey - I think I paid $200 for delivery and build. They will price match Amazon, Ebay, etc and even look it up for you. I love my new machine. Thinking of a new treadmill next! They do warranty work and repairs as well.

So after searching for weeks for the right equipment i finally fell into this store which was a block from my house but because of the poor online marketing and their phone not working i was very lucky when I ran into Adam who is the sales person at the store. Its not every day you get sales person that can read your mind and get you situated into exactly what you are looking for. His sales tactics (if you will) were dead on the money and I now have the most epic home gym. Adam is just the sales person so dont hold the website and non working phone number against him. its a shame too because if their marketing and phone number worked and was way better then they would have a complete operation. Make sure you speak to ADAM SANDS! he will set you up. BEST SALES PERSON EVER!

Ordered an FT2 from First Place Fitness and we love it! The FPF team delivered and set up the equipment expertly and in a reasonable amount of time. Always professional and willing to address issues! I would use this vendor for any future equipment needs.

Adam was very accommodating. He was able to get us exactly what we wanted and set up delivery for us, assembled, at a convenient time. We will be def be going right back to “First Place” for future needs.

Very aggressive sales people. Ultimately purchased equipment elsewhere and contacted them for service. They again tried to sell me new equipment rather than repairing what I had (even though they were listed as a repair facility on mfg website). Ultimately they dragged their feet and didn’t ever follow up on repair. I understand they want to sell equipment but failure to do anything else is a bad sign. I would recommend avoiding.
