The location is convenient and you can easily park around the restaurant. Inside is a little strange, doesn’t feel like a restaurant belongs in this space which adds some quirkiness, which in turn I liked.The breakfast plates were generous and tasty, gave off a home cooked kinda feel. The coffee was weak but I think it fits the diner vibe perfectly.Service was great, makes for feel like you’re at a local spot. We really enjoyed it here!
My Diner is a pretty good local spot for breakfast. Be prepared to come early or wait around 15-20 minutes for a table. I arrived on a Saturday at 9:15 and it was pretty packed. it was me so I sat at the breakfast bar top area immediately after entering.I had the Southie Omelette which came with potato hash and toast and choice of corned beef or turkey. I had the corned beef. It was good not amazing. Good enough portion.Service was pretty fast even though they were busy. The employees are running their buts off! They all work extremely hard to help you. Its of locals go because they called many people by their first names. Worth the visit for sure.

Such a great meal (very affordable), friendly staff, and good location! Sit outside if you can. We did go on a day when they were understaffed but the staff all work so dang hard. We were all so impressed. Good was amazing - i got pancakes, eggs, and bacon for like $8. Cant beat that. Be sure to give a great tip :)

Diner prices and menu in bright and modern surroundings. What a great combination! I ate in the outdoor seating next to a green space with modern sculptures. The dining room was full, busy with happy people. I will definitely be going back.
Who knew that some of the best diner food in Boston was here! It is a little out of the way unless you are in the Seaport, but it is worth the trip. Even with the limited parking sometimes! The portions are sizable and the service exceptional.

Went on a rainy Memorial Day 2021. Was pleasantly surprised. Small indoor area and outdoor seating. Too cold and wet to be outside. Nothing fancy but very tasty. Wait staff was very attentive. Got there at 9 and was seated immediately. Left just after 10 and there were 30 people waiting. P.S. Don’t sit next to the door.
Fast service, amicable, very good prices and excellent food (large portions). The eggs Benedict (3) were perfectly cooked and the bacon delicious.
Clean, consistent, and friendly. Out of all the diners in the area, this is the one that you can take people to not be concerned about the cleanliness. Pretty solid for the most part, all of your favorite recognizable breakfast items. Can’t really complain. It’s a diner. Don’t expect too much.

An unassuming little diner. It was busy when I visited and seemed very popular with locals (a couple of police officers, so I knew it had to be decent). Service was good, food was good, and reasonably priced. I walked out of my way to visit, definitely worth a try for breakfast or lunch if you are in the area.

Let me start off by saying if you dont get a waffle, youre wrong.Everything is amazing, and the staff are exceptionally good/friendly. I go here atleast once a week, and is my favorite spot to hangout during a snowstorm.

We had to wait over an hour to get a sit and a total of 2 hours to get our food in front of us. The quality of the food is okay and the prices are great but you can get the same quality of food and price for a quarter of the waiting time elsewhere.

Of the true three diners in Southie, My Diner is my favorite. Its kind of hard to find the first time as its on the 2nd floor of an apartment building, but a large and clean space once you find it Cheap, quick, quality food, good service. Fresh fruit bowls are very fresh, blueberries and strawberries as opposed to the melon cubes you usually get at diners. Ive been about 5 times since living around here and have yet to have a disappointing experience.It can get packed during peak hours on the weekend so I prefer to go as close to opening as possible. There is an outdoor deck but unfortunately no seating out there, but they do open the wall door things on nice days. Also great playlist!

The breakfast sandwiches were sufficiently filling. Got the linguica and egg with the add-on of cheese, and spinach, and a bulky roll and home fries. Also got a sausage and cheese on a bagel. And a ham and cheese on a bulky roll. The home fries were not overly oily which is good, plus they were well seasoned, you do not need to add any additional salt or pepper or ketchup. it was a bit crowded inside the shop itself picking up the food, and the staff were a little bit disorganized with their catering to take out orders versus seating people who are coming in. They do have their upstairs dining area open still with outdoor seating.

This was a nice hidden gem!! Not many places near my job in Southie waterfront, so when I found this place and the food was amazing, I got real excited. I had cheeseburger (which was huge and delicious) and buffalo chicken wings (also huge and amazing. I got two days worth of lunch from this. I did not take pics but I will definitely take some next time. Please Id youre in the area, stop on by. You wont regret it

My Diner is a real gem - delicious, cheap and generous with portions. In other words, everything a diner should be! Of note, it’s one of the only places I’ve found in Southie with an ample vegan brunch menu, which is perfect for when we have vegan family members in town. It’s a little tricky to find as it’s located on the second floor of an apartment building, but the signage is decent. You can also order take out from them!

The food tastes amazing! The prices are a little high. Charging a dollar to add whipped cream or cheese seems like a bit much. The taste of the food makes up for that. I havent tried any food that I didnt like. I order from here almost weekly.
I ordered a cheeseburger. It was quick but not great. The waitress be checked how the food was or if I need anything else. Instead, while I was eating it the she just dropped the bill at my table. The bill was upside down with the total on the back of it for $8.50. But according to the menu, that burger was only $6.95+tax=$7.38. I went to the register to pay and when I asked about the price, she grabbed a calculator. Then she wrote $7.45.The service was mediocre and the food too. Plus I didnt appreciate what happened with the check.

Only ate here once (takeout) so this rating doesnt have much weight behind it. I ordered a bacon egg cheese on a roll and it was cheap and very good but very small portion!!! I finished it 4 bites. Order two if youre hungry.

Best diner in South Boston. When they had to move after the old place was turned into condos the charm went with it. Amazing diner food and wicked friendly staff, this should definitely be your next breakfast destination in the area.

Pathetic customer service. called and placed a small breakfast delivery order ( one sandwich and one omelette) . I called from a location which is only about a 5MINUTE DRIVE. was quoted 45 minutes and realized after waiting over an hour, I noticed my food order was still not there. I called the diner and was told that i placed my order at an inaccurate time( placed my order at 9am and the woman who took my order wrote 10 minutes after the fact.). I was told the driver will be there soon he already left and i dont know what else to say . This establishment has OK food at best but Ive spent too many years working in the service industry to spend my hard earned money at somewhere that doesnt even understand basic customer service or has their staff give paying customers a oh well, deal with it indifferent attitude in regards to customer service.
The prices are incredibly fair. Service was good. If youre looking for a good little breakfast place (not a crazy brunch place like others in the area) I would definitely recommend.

Great place to eat breakfast and lunch. There slogan is great food huge portions at diner prices . They werent lying . I ordered the farmers and everything was delicious and the portions huge . The service was great. .If Im ever back in South Boston Im coming back again . Two thumbs up from Austin Texas.

So this is a brand new place, but it might as well be a old place. The layout and the distribution of the kitchen just looked like it was in shambles. They had boxes up top they had things strewn about. There definitely was not much thought put into the design. It just was not a good look. The service was really really slow, but the food was actually quite good. I would probably only go back if I see the place is not crowded.
Before its current location I loved how the staff made me feel at home. Now with the view and space, the warmth and food are in a location that it deserves. The food is consistantly good diner food, from eggs and oatmeal to grilled Rubens and meatloaf. Put this 2nd floor, accessable diner on your go to list.
Great place for classic diner food! I highly recommend the turkey hash. It comes with two eggs, home fries, and toast. A huge breakfast or lunch thats worth the price and the service is great!
