Nice little place. Shopped there once. They closed their business on Saturday, March 9th 2019. As of 03/13/2019 - they do answer their phone, but not open to the public.

Great store. Go there first, youll probably find whatever it is you need. I spent an hour in Home Depot looking for some ubolts. The next time I went into Whittemore, I see a whole slew of them in exactly the configuration I needed. Doh!

Great service on my snowblower when I needed it before a big storm in March. People are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely going to go back and they will keep my business..

My favorite place in Melrose. The old fashion hardware store - meaning they have everything and the people are kknow what they are talking about and will provide advice based on actual experience! Even has that hardware store feel and smell.

All the guys, including the owner Steve, are always very helpful and reasonable with their work.

Ariens says Whittemore Hardware services Ariens machines that werent bought through Whittemore Hardware. They just told me to go elsewhere, so they dont do that.
