I love coming here for ice cream, I think they make the best banana splits. I just wish they can take more than one order at a time because it makes the wait time that much longer. If they need assistance they should put up a “help wanted” sign. The staff is usually pretty nice. It looks like there are only two people working here. I definitely suggest for them to get more staff. They have a decent variety of soft serve ice cream and flurries.

Love the chocolate soft serve. All of the items on the menu are fantastic highly recommend. Sadly service takes a little long since only two people are working but its worth the wait

Banana Split Heaven offers affordable ice cream at an amazing price. The establishment is clean, quiet and sits just at the side of the road.This location is cash only.For future accommodations I hope the owner(s) offer a credit card or mobile pay options.This location stated it was temporarily closed online, but its actually open. I called the phone number but all I received was a tone dial for a disconnected number that no longer exists.I can say though despite those problems, this location offers friendly service from 2 employees on average and it is highly recommended that you bring your family or friends to have a great time.

This is the best place to go to get soft serve. And by far the only place I go because they have been making banana split shakes for me since 2000 and always best employees ever.

How about changing your hours to say youre closed instead of waiting your lost customers time

This place has been around since I was a kid and I still love stopping by whenever Im in town... Nothing crazy special just some good ol ice cream!

I just love this little ice cream shop. I have lived in melvindale almost my whole life. I have gone to this ice cream shop plenty of times. I have never had a problem with their service. They are pretty fast. This ice cream shop has a large variety of flavors and types of ice creams to pick from. I do believe that their prices are fairly reasonable. The employees at this ice cream shop are also very helpful and friendly. It seems like it would be a pretty good place to work at. I just wish they were open more. The location is also in a convenient area.

Small place in Melvindale on Allen Road. I guess like all ice cream shops during warm weather lines can be slow. This place is no exception. As to the ice cream I just get ice cream cones, chocolate is my favorite. And I really do like their ice cream. Prices same as everywhere else. if you live in the area or if you drive by and get that ice cream hunger, stop by. I give it a 3.5

Thought it was a good idea to go for a long walk with my kids to get some ice cream check to see what time they close says 10pm its 6 and this place is closed.....smh now i got disappointed kids who want 🍦...

Ok let me start by saying if you have anything negative to say about this place then you don’t deserve it, the smalls are LARGE and the larges are HUGE. Portion size they are killing it and the price point! It might not be a big name brand and the employees might not seem super entergetic and engaging but when it comes down to what you went there for..YOU GET IT! don’t keep wasting your time at all the other places you have been going to for yeats and GIVE THEM A TRY IT WILL BE THE BEST TRIP YOU MAKE!

I left wondering where the rest of my large sundae was. the cup was barely 1/2 full & when i asked why she told me it probably looks that way because of the chocolate! what? to add insult to injury, when I got home and started eating it....it was hollow! not sure ill be back
