Every time we are in East Memphis I have to stop. I would love to suggest to the company that you offer naked cookies without the frosting. The cookie itself has such amazing flavor and would love to have it by itself!

The always have the cutest cookies and they arent just nicely decorated they are also very tasty!!! I love to buy Happy Birthday cookies for my grandchildren from here. You can always count on some seasonal cookies. They have a soft cookie that is very tasty also! I believe they may host Birthday tea parties. They also carry pay paper goods.

I was brought these three cookies. Maybe Ill make my way on over to the physical store. I have the butter cookie, the strawberry cookie and the chocolate chip cookie. The first two very different than the chocolate chip cookie. Im here to tell you the best~tall, cake like, soft, gooey, decadent, cookie Ive tried in a while. Fluffy, soft and taste exactly like the flavor. The chocolate chip was like a cookie and super sweet. Didn’t realize it was baked with an Oreo inside... A plus+....Could be someones great indulgence, tho. Maybe Ill give them a try and visit The Whimsy Cookie Company in person.

Super cute cookie place with delicious cookies! The story behind how the store came to be is exciting and inviting. Loved this place so much and intend to go every time I go to Memphis.

After placing an order over the phone, we went to pick them up on the scheduled date, but they insisted that they had no recollection of it. I told them that I had called and placed an order 8 days prior, but they did not believe me. They said they dont take orders over the phone.I have proof in my cell phone records that I called and spoke with them for 3 minutes (photo proof attached) and I have a witness who heard me place the order over the phone, but it was no use. They insisted that I had not placed an order- insulting my integrity and intelligence. I will never give them my business again and I highly recommend that you do not either.In response to their reply: When a phone call starts with me saying I would like to place an order and ends with them saying Ok- you can pick them up on Friday any time after noon then it is not an inquiry it is an order.

A really fun place to get a specialty gift or a surprise for a loved one. Good customer service. Definitely an underrated gem on Poplar Ave.

I got 2 cookies and they charged me $16. The decorated sugar cookie was cute but sis not taste good. The gooey butter cookie was horrible.

If 0 was an option I would select it. This was my first experience ordering customized cookies for Valentine’s Day and they failed miserably. Cookies were ordered 1/4/21 over a month in advance and paid in full for pickup on 2/11. On 1/27 I had to change my pickup date to 2/10 unexpectedly. This was requested via email and I also called and spoke with a lady on the phone who confirmed all was well, no problem and they have me down for 2/10. I was reassured the change was made. On 2/10 I called several times before driving from Mississippi and didn’t get an answer on the phone which was odd because they were open. I then sent an email notifying them I was on my way and to confirm my order was ready. No response. So I drove all the way there only to be told noone changed my order to the 10th. I was told I could leave and return and they could be ready at 5:45 and that was not possible as I live in Mississippi. So I requested a refund. I was kept waiting 20 mins at the counter while they waited on other customers before the clerk finally printed me a receipt showing the refund. The owner never came from the back to acknowledge me or to apologize for the mixup, and my Valentine’s basket is now ruined. Their customer service is absolutely awful and I hate I didn’t go with another competitor from the beginning.

As a manager of a high end salon, it is my goal, and it is of utmost importance to me that my employees feel appreciated. If an employee is struggling in any work area, it is my job to make sure they have all necessary tools and information needed in order to succeed and achieve the ultimate goal, which is to make customers feel satisfied and keep them coming back. It is my job to make sure my employees know that I have an open door policy and that new ideas and or suggestions are always welcomed. It is never my job to be argumentative, belittling, sarcastic, and just flat out disrespectful. The way employees/store manager have been treated at an Arkansas location, speaks volume as to how they are quickly replaceable and basically just another number when all theyve done is be the driving force behind the scenes. It shows lack of concern to the needs of the employees and furthermore prevents them from ever considering coming back. Is it most certainly acceptable to have an employee decide to pursue a higher education and career. If I can do anything in my power to keep such great employees and build a great team to show a some kind of appreciation of the hard work, dedication and loyalty theyve shown, then we all win. I would never make an employee feel as though they would never be successful outside of the company. I would never make them feel as though theyve been used, overworked, underpaid and underappreciated and be told their absolute best isnt good enough. Sadly, that is what your Arkansas location has done. For this very reason, I wouldnt recommend your company to anyone seeking a sweet treat, let alone employment. Lastly, my question to you is how can you ensure this never happens again to any employee? What will you as a company do as a resolve? Answer: it starts from the top!

I went in to pick up my order and I overheard the owner/boss or someone chewing out their employee like behind a curtain?? It was super embarrassing and awkward to walk in on; the girl serving me was clearly uncomfortable because we could both hear them the entire time she was ringing up my order. I felt really bad for the employee; whoever was talking to her was just being straight-up rude. And then the cookies werent even that great--they were definitely overpriced.

The owners do not take care of their employees. Do not support this company.In response to your response, my statement still stands. The problem is rooted at the top. In Memphis. I have never seen such micromanagement, and poor leadership in an organization. Take the opportunity to learn what leadership (not management )looks like. Encourage and empower your employees to take care of your company. It seems the opposite was true with this owner...in Memphis. Truly toxic.

The owners of this company are only concerned about how many franchise they can sell. They are not concerned about their product & employees as they treat them very poorly.I was the store manager at the Fayetteville Arkansas location & chose to leave because of the company owners lack of respect to all who work for Whimsy. I hired a great group of people who put a lot of effort into this company. As soon as I resigned, they fired all the employees who were extremely hard working & dedicated. I am very sad for the way they were treated as they were disposed of with no notice. People need to know who they are supporting with their money. Support companies that support their employees.

The best cookies in the world

The cookies were good as usual, but this time the service wasnt as great. I usually have a relaxing, whimsical experience, but not today. The young lady who helped us was sweeping the lobby area once we walked in, and her service was rushed as if we either interrupted her sweeping or she was getting off work within the next 2 minutes of our arrival. My mom wanted to treat my daughter and I to my favorite cookie place for my birthday today, but she almost second guessed her $30 purchase because she didnt appreciate the service.

New cookie place! I came around 7pm, they close at 8pm, so I didnt get to see all of everything that they had to offer. There were a lot of decorated sugar cookies, I asked if it was the same flavor, the lady said yes, just differently decked out, so I got two . Another kind of cookie that they had were called Gooey, it was moist, chewy, and gooey all in one. Ive never had one before, so I really enjoyed it.The place is decked out in pink, and chandeliers, your little princesses would love this place. Im definitely coming back during the day, so I can try a little bit of everything.

I placed a customized order here awhile back and I went in to ask about having a cookie added to the order. The order had not yet been started. It was about 2-3 weeks before the date of pick up and they refused to accommodate. I literally needed to add ONE cookie to my order. The two girls who I spoke to were EXTREMELY rude. They didn’t even take the time to try to find a way to help the situation. They basically had a smirk and sarcastic smile while bluntly saying “no we cannot add cookies.” THE END. No “I’m sorry.” No “Let me look at your order to see if there’s anything we can do.” No “let me ask the decorators, or manager.” Just an smirk and and “NO we cannot add cookies to an already placed order.” What business won’t accommodate ADDING something to your order? And when it hasn’t even been started? I had placed numerous orders here before this one and my husband and I would go here often to get cookies for our staff at the hospitals. Never went back after this. Frost is better any way by far and much nicer. They have accommodated us on many custom orders within the same week of an order. So glad they were rude here because I wouldn’t have given frost a chance. Usually when I find a place I like, I stick with it. Horrible customer service here.In response to your reply:You all 100% turned down adding cookies. And it actually happened twice. The order for me is likely under a different last name than on this review because I am married now. The other order was under my mom’s name.

I had some cookies made and shipped to Montana for my wedding, and they were perfect! I was so happy they were even able to custom make some little red jammer bus cookies that looked just like the ones at the park we were married in. I’m sure it was no easy feat; especially with a rush on the order but they arrived on time and in wonderful condition. Oh, and they tasted fabulous!

Service is not the best here. I placed an order for a dozen butter gooeys and half of them were the lemon ones and this isnt the first time this has happened. It sucks because I love the cookies but every order is always wrong so I probably wont be going back.

I would have loved to try this place,. We took my son there and the door either was stuck or they locked it, ( sign said they were open and customers were in there) the owners looked at us and absolutely ignored us, couldve either said they were closed or actually tried to help paying customers come in. It came off rude, and showed they dont care about there little customers. We will not be going back, hope they work on their customer service or wont last

Visiting Whimsy Cookie Co is such a treat with the very best sugar cookies around!! The Ooey gooey cookies are to die for and the owner Laurie is always so sweet and helpful!! One of our fav places to visit!! Everyone must treat themselves to a Whimsy Cookie!!

Overall alright cookie nothing special, I’m usually all for quality over quantity but these were alright not worth 2.90 per cookie. The staff was good the guy was very friendly and provided good selection of first try cookies, as a whole experience it was good I personally never been to a whimsy cookie I went in without expecting much just seemed they paid more for interior setup instead on providing a better product they looked nice, cookies looked nice but nothing special.

I ordered cookies online from this place Monday evening. I was charged almost $20 for delivery in three business days. I called today because I had not received verification of shipment. Later in the day I received verification of shipment that the order is to arrive on Monday. When I inquired about why the shipment would not arrive within the three business days as was listed at check out I was told that shipping is not their business and they cannot guarantee shipping time frames. I also noticed a disclaimer that was on the email that states they are not responsible for orders that arrive damaged. Had I known that I would not have ordered perishables that cannot be guaranteed to arrive intact or in the timeframe stated at check out.

They have THE best cookies! The ooey gooey ones are my absolute favorite, no matter the flavor! We also order cookies for birthday parties as party favors and all the kids love them!

I love Whimsys Cookies, but the customer service has been terrible when I visit the Memphis, TN location. I brushed it off before because, COOKIES! Recently, I received a Gift Card and when redeeming, I was told the card wasnt working and maybe there is nothing on it, I ask that my information be taken down and provided to management since she was not able to help me. Later I emailed them and provided a copy of the gift receipt that came with the card and matched the card number. It has been 3 weeks and they still have not resolved the issue. After 2 weeks I asked to be reimbursed for the amount on a new gift card while they were investigating and they were unwilling to do that or ANYTHING else to make up for the issue. Apparently, the Gift card is supported by a 3rd party vendor and they cannot get the information but they have been so rude and uncaring. Terrible customer service can make those cookies, not so tasty.

I only went because my coworker had gotten a promotion and he loves their cookies. Service was really not great, esp considering how much money I spent (around $100+ for COOKIES). For his next promotion, Ill find some other year for him. I wont be back to Whimsy.

Very rude store owner. I came in to buy a sample of Halloween cookies so that I could order several dozen for next week. This very rude woman, apparently the owner, was too busy to answer my questions. The staff did not know prices, but were too afraid to ask her questions. They said I would have to ask the owner, who would not come and speak to me. Cant believe I just walked into such a hostile environment in a cookie store!

On Saturday July 22, 2017Me and my wife and Son went to this place. Because we have never been . We wanted to try some New Tasting Cookies. I had to get the lady attention twice. We brown Skin people. She throwed my Cookie box on the counter . 2 white girls. Why do people have to be Racist???? Its sad

They sell some of the best sugar cookies in Memphis. The bakery was busy but it was the day before Valentines. A definite must go to.

Very disappointed and I would’ve been a new customer. I’m launching my boutique Friday aug 17 and I contact these people Tuesday trying to get some cookies made and no one contact me back till Thursday which I had to keep calling just for them to tell me there’s was nothing they could do because there printer didn’t have ink and because of the short amount of time. Well had we figured it out Tuesday you would’ve had enough time to do them. On top of that I was going to pay the rush fee.

Have never written a google review but had to do it because of the terrible customer service I just had and I feel like Ive been robbed.I purchased a (very expensive) custom cookie order for my daughters birthday party this Saturday. I was scheduled to pick up on Friday but was unable to get there before they closed. I emailed Friday night requesting to pick up Saturday morning, but no one answered. Website and door post hours of 10am to 6 pm on Saturday so I planned to pick up when they opened Saturday am. No one was there on Saturday. No sign on the door, no post on social media and no one called to let me know. I called and emailed multiple times before the party on Saturday and got no response. So we had no cookies at our birthday party.Today, the response I got from the owner was that they did their part and I could EITHER come get my cookies now OR get a 50% refund. How about a full refund since the event I ordered the cookies for is over! Or if you can only offer a 50% refund, at least let us take the cookies as well. Thats really poor form if you ask me and I wont be ordering any more cookies from this business.
