So far so good, I was previously at Walgreens and with Medicare needed to switch. Experience with Walgreens had gone downhill and the staff answering at CVS seemed polite and knowledgeable. Hopefully it will be a decent experience.
Covid testing win! Made an appointment for my son to get tested at Walgreens in EC, no same day testing available so had to wait 2 days to get him in, then was turned away and told they don’t offer same day testing and told to reschedule him. Went online and was able to get my child tested at CVS 30 minutes later, convenient since it’s a 30 minute drive. Simple, easy, streamlined, friendly experience. From now on I’ll only ever use CVS.
Normal CVS experience. Probably has what you need in a pinch and youll pay a little more for convenience.
Convenient and the pharmacist is kind and caring.
Great place to go. Staff is very helpful. I had to pick up some items for a family member. Store is very clean inside and laid out nice. People were very helpful.Until the next review,-Steve-O, out!
I carried a cross for like 1/2 a mile and CVS receipts could span the entire walk. #somuchreceipt
Scheduled my Covid vaccine for 10am a week in advance as I have a busy schedule, very clearly says no walk ins and appointment required. Get there and am told someone just went back ahead of me, so I’m second in line. What’s the point of an appointment if someone can just walk in and go ahead of me because they got there earlier than me as a walk-in? Keep in mind I arrived 5 minutes early as well.
The staff is ALWAYS so kind and helpful.
If you enjoy long waits and arrogant pill counters, this is the place.
After an hour on the phone call schedule for medication delivery. After fewer days received a message saying ready for pickup.
I will never go to another pharmacy! CVS has been amazing to me. They have offered suggestions to all of my questions/concerns that my doctor has always just shrugged off, and they have gone above and beyond when it comes to my medications and refills. Loyal customer for life!
I unfortunately have to have my prescriptions filled at another drug store because of my insurance. Im very disappointed because I have always been very pleased with CVS. Everyone is respectful, friendly and actually knows your name. I highly recommend CVS.
*edited 6/14/18I was formerly at a pharmacy that was bought out by CVS. Since the beginning Ive had issues with CVS. At first I thought they were just working out the kinks but its been over a year now and I have issues every time I pick up medication. The employees are nice enough so I cannot figure out why they are always off on my brothers prescription? I have to call and remind them a few days every time I pick up to make sure they are putting it together for me. If I do not call they will not prepare my brothers prescription. Sometimes even when I do call and get someone the message gets lost somehow and I have to wait till the next day. Sometimes they do not have enough pills to fill out the prescription either. I am beyond frustrated now.I think we will try another pharmacy.- Update we stuck around and seems about a few weeks after this review they were able to get things done smoothly. The past year and a half everything has gone smoothly at this CVS, maybe a change of management did it? Anyways I have amended my rating and am now giving them a higher rating.
I go in and the staff knows who i am are very friendly and usually am in and out - i always have my meds called in though so for those of you who wait till you get there - i cant relate. I was worried when i got moved from the Medicine Shop and other than the opening pains - they have been great ever since. Call ahead and give them time and everything goes so smooth.
I started using this location in late October 2014 and had a great experience. They were able to fill 2 new scrips on short notice and they were ready to pick up in less than an hour. They also took an order over the phone to transfer another scrip from an Eau Claire pharmacy and had the order ready to go very quickly. Whatever problems they may have had when they first opened seem to be fixed. I was also impressed by the clean layout of the store and the wide variety of products they sold.
The most friendly Pharmacy Staff I ever met! Personally make my day better and always go out of thier way to be helpful. I appreciate all thier hard work and dedication. HUGE THANK YOU ALL!!!
Ive been a customer of Medicine Shoppe, nee Lees Drug, for decades. I was given less than a week notice of the sale of my store to CVS. Ive been to CVS three times for medications. Ive never had to wait less than 30 minutes, even when I had scrips ready for pickup. I was told on Wednesday that my meds would be ready Thursday morning. I stopped by Thursday afternoon, waited more than 45 minutes, and they were not ready. They said theyd mail them. They didnt. I came in 1/2 hour after they opened, waited an hour, and was finally able to pick them up. They do not answer their phone, they do not have key medications in stock, they have not worked out computer problems, and they have totally inadequate staffing. The staff are *not* the problem. The problem is corporate, money over people, and a total lack of caring from the new corporate owners. Go elsewhere. Never go to CVS, even for other stuff. Its a convenience store with a small, insignificant sideline in pharmacy.
The staff is great. I went late night to pick up a prescription and with so many things in my hands I forgot my hospital documents on the countertop. The next morning I called and they had saved them for me. Really appreciate it.
My first time there was during their transition, when two other local pharmacies where being bought out by CVS and it was crazy. The pharmacists were overworked and it took forever to get my medication. Although it took a while they are now doing much better and when I go there it typically only takes 10-15 minutes to get my medication. Considering how horribly everyone else handled this transition (one pharmacy didnt even tell their customers they were being bought out) I think the workers here did really well with the transition.
Even when they are super busy and swamped, the Pharmacy Staff are so friendly and warm. I frankly refuse to go anywhere else because why leave a good thing? xD
Wonderful! They are always willing to answer my questions about my medications. Theyre the best!
The new CVS store in Menomonie is completely unprepared to operate as a pharmacy. We had been customers of Ericksons Drug Store for decades when CVS bought them out. Between two prescriptions that my wife and I have had filled with them we had to come to the store no less than 6 times. There were 9 and one time 15 other people waiting to be served; their waiting experiences were all similar to ours. Even when the pharmacist said to come back tomorrow and we will have it ready for you, they didnt. We never waited less than 30 minutes and one time was one hour and 15 minutes. We never saw the same pharmacist at the store twice. Their computer problems even now do not seem to be resolved. There is the annoying ongoing message of five, four, three pharmacy calls that no one appears to feel an urgency to answer. They left a very poor first impression, second was no better, three strikes and theyre out.
After the initial startup pains the service is really good. Some of the folks from the old stores are now there and the continuation of good service is a plus. My meds changed drastically a while back and the folks at CVS were able to contact the MD an get the changes when he forgot to change the prescription.
How did they pass health codes? The pharmacist literally handles pills after touching dirty money. Disgusting.
I had an awful first experience here. The customer service at the pharmacy was horrible. I had to wait 20 minutes just to drop off my prescription. When I came back to pick it up, they had the wrong persons information on the labels, which explained why insurance was such a hassle. The staff continued to blame the mistake on my doctor rather than apologize, and the pharmacist, also manager Jeff, blurted out my prescription and its use from the back room, violating my privacy. Very unhappy with their unprofessional-ism and recommend anyone to Walgreens or Walmart.
NEW PHARMACIST-------VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE---HE WILL BE THERE FOREVERWILL CASEY PURVISHIS NAME IS PETER
Im truly disappointed with this place. Im suffering from a head cold and went in to get some Sudafed. So, I pick up the card and wait in line for a long time. Then when I finally get waited on, they tell me that theyre not able to sell it because they dont have a license yet. Heres a clue CVS: If you dont have it in stock, dont waste peoples time making it look like you do.
Worst On Hold Music Ever.Stop in instead for great friendly service.
Very friendly & helpful staff
Pharmacy is really slow. All other staff is slow to. Prices arent the greatest either. This isnt the first place I would recommend you go for something.
The service is so slow, I had to transfer my prescription information to Walgreens
Says they are open Sundays......but theyre not!
