Dee was awesome! The service department was terrific too - had a minor issue, Dee called in on her day off, had the service department waiting for me. Service manager drove me back to work and they dropped off the car when they were done. Felt like a special customer, even after purchasing a lower priced used car.

I have a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander that was purchased at Mentor Mitsubishi. I was very disappointed when Mitsubishi left Mentor. I needed maintenance work done on my car so I called and was able to get an appointment very quickly. I was very happy to also find that the mechanic I have trusted with my cars was still working at Mentor. MIKE W is the BEST mechanic I have had for many years. The seats are still too soft in the waiting area for my back, but it is pleasant otherwise. Everything I needed taken care of was fixed. Kara at the desk was also very pleasant.

I just purchased a new Kia Telluride from Mentor Kia. My salesman was Noah Hamilton. My experience with Noah was very good. No pressure sales tactics and he was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I also worked with the Sales Manager, Sean Carlson, regarding the price of my trade and he actually increased the price of my trade when he realized that the dual moon roof was not included on my trade when they pulled up the Vin#. The Telluride had quite a long wait (3 mos), but they kept me informed on the status of delivery. It actually came in a few days prior to the original date of delivery. When I went to pick up the vehicle, there were no issues or changes to the agreement, which is something I always anticipate happening and was glad it didnt. I would recommend Mentor Kia to my family or friends!

Work you schedule gets done fine enough and in a timely manner, but with very inflated prices for simple work beyond what I can consider reasonable. One particular piece of work I did myself after I got my car home took me, a novice a total of 10 minutes with most of that being the 3 minute YouTube tutorial explaining the 4 step process, required a $3 part, and saved me $24. Another service that was billed at over $50 required a $10 air filter and was completed in roughly 5 minutes. Service desk staff was less than what could be considered attentive and required multiple clarifications for information found on their own paperwork when I dropped the car off and after. The only reason I am not giving them a one star review is they could have swore at me as I walked out the door, and that they did the simple oil change and fixed a factory recall that I had scheduled.

First I want to say that Dee is a very good sales woman. Having said that, I was VERY disappointed in the value my trade was worth according to the person who made that decision. I was given a value on my 2013 kia rio and no person test drove my car. My trade is in very good condition mechanically and looks very good. Yes it has alot of miles on it(134500). However, I TAKE CARE OF IT VERY WELL. Further, my car is not a THROW AWAY car as it was referred to. In todays market I was expecting a decent offer on my trade and instead I felt INSULTED by the offer. I was ready to trade my car in and put 5k down payment on the car that I was interested in . Also within the past year I have received several mailers from Mentor Kia referring to how badly they want my THROW AWAY CAR. Not a good way to do business and mislead a potential customer.

I called the service Department Monday in the morning to set an appointment for oil change, engine filter change and tire rotation. Was told I would have a 9AM appointment for the following day and would get a return call later in the day confirming the appointment which would be for Express Service. I never received the confirmation call from the scheduler but I called at 4PM and was told I was on the book for my 9AM appointment.I arrived 5 minutes early for my Tuesday 9 AM Appointment and was told my services would take about an hour. I waited in the lounge and after about 40 minutes a service man came in and called “Christine” which is my first name, so I stood and he said the car was finished and there would be no charge. I was surprised to hear no charge and then he went on to state that they had checked the check engine light which was the reason for service. I was very puzzled and I said that there hadn’t been an issue with the check engine etc. he then realized he had the wrong person for a different car and that there were two people in the waiting area with the same first name. He apologized and found the other person.My “Expresss Service” took 90 minutes and I was then out the door and on the road.Because of the lack of phone call confirmation, confusion on vehicles being serviced and their owners, and a 90 minute wait for an express service appointment to be completed I rate the service as mediocre.

I made an appointment for 2:00 was having problems with car starting. I had to wait a week before I could bring the car in so I was basically without a car for a week. When I dropped the car off I told the representative that I thought it was the ignition and left the car overnight to be picked up the next day. Never received a call back with an estimate of cost, so I called that evening to see what the estimate was to give approval for repair and the representative told me that I did not have an appointment so the car was just in the back sitting. I informed her that she was wrong and when I dropped the car off I told her I had a 2:00 appointment as well as a text from the dealer confirming my appointment. The next morning I spoke with the manager at 8:00 and he said they would run diagnostic and get right back with me. I called back twice that day and did not get an estimate until approximately 4:00 that evening. My car was not ready until 4:00 in the evening the next day. They had my car for two and a half days due to their errors and when I got home a covering was not put up secure under my car so I had to go back the next day for them to bolt back up. I have been going to this Kia location for 7 years and have never experienced service this terrible.

We were shopping for a car. We found a car we liked a lot at mentor Kia. We were advised that if we wanted to hold a vehicle, we should put down a deposit on it. We weren’t done looking, and had a couple of other cars we wanted to see. We want to see the other cars and ended up deciding that we wanted to purchase the car that we saw at mentor Kia. They were closed at that time, so I decided to call first thing the next morning. I called at 9 am (as soon as they opened) and spoke to our salesperson to let them know we had decided to purchase the vehicle. We had a pre approval with an approval letter, and the salesperson then told us that he would get the purchase order sent over to our credit union. We were NOT advised that any deposit needed to be placed on the vehicle at this time. We didn’t assume there was one needed as we were told that the deposit was to HOLD a vehicle the night before, and the next morning we were purchasing the vehicle. ( again, NOT advised that a deposit was needed) We spoke several times with the dealership and credit union over the next 2 hours. We were called by the credit union to let us know that they were sending the papers over for us to sign and then we could go pick up the vehicle. As soon as that call came in, we received a call from the dealership and were told that someone had come in and placed a deposit on the car and it was now their car. We were never advised to place a deposit, or that someone else was interested in the vehicle. When I asked to speak to a manager, they were incredibly rude, and placed all of the blame on my husband and myself for not placing a deposit on the vehicle. They didn’t even apologize for the situation. I will never give them my business . I’m absolutely baffled that any business would do business in that way.

Mike spent a lot of time the day I chose my car. He told me what was available and when cars would be arriving at the dealership.When my car arrived Mike walked me thru all the paperwork. He spent a long time going over all of the features of the Seltos.We worked on the technical part of the sceen....he set up the basics and then showed me how to navigate the rest of the technical options. Mike was extremely patient and answered all of my questions. He made sure I understood that I could call him or come back to the dealership if I needed help with anything. He was very pleasant and easy to work with.

Still haven’t made any effort to fix the mistake they created with my lease . Leaving my wife with a missed payment for end of lease buy out . Apparently when u choose not to lease from them again you owe an additional payment even after you have turned in the car . They were rude about not buying from them again and she ended up with a missed payment on her credit report for 7 years . Has never ever had a missed payment in whole credit history . All payments were auto debited from checking account but not this one they claim you owe for not re leasing from them .The payment was then paid and the negative report isStill on credit report . This was last year in the middle of covid at which time she was hospitalized and tried to say the car couldn’t be turned in by anyone else as she had to sign . NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND OR DO BUSINESSES WITH MENTOR KIA OR ANY KIA DEWLER FOR THAT MATTER .

Not a very good experience so far. Bought my car in February and was rushed through the process but couldnt drive home in my new car. Had to come back few hours later. Car wasnt properly washed when I got it, swirling in the paint. Got aftermarket remote start installed, was stuck at dealership for almost 8 hours, said it would only take 4, left my keys. Oil change was only decent experience. So far everything but that was a fight. Will definitely chose a different dealer next time.

Sean tracked down the exact car/options we wanted - it came in more quickly than anticipated, and then he and finance had all the paperwork ready to go when I arrived so I was able to get in and out very quickly! It was a service call for a new Sportage 2020. Oil change and to check everything. It was done in about an hour or a little more, which was good. Emily was excellent and listened to my problem with the headlights. Hard to see at night. She had then checked and one was pointing down, the service man corrected it and it seems much better now. Hopefully it wont turn down again! Thank you! Also I am waiting for a call from Eugene about my 100,, thousand mile warranty which was changed to 120 thousand. I still have not heard and he said he was going to call by the next day. Still did not hear! Please let me know. Thank you!

I brought my car in for a voluntary recall. I explained on the phone what it was for when I made the reservation. When I got there, I dropped off the car and was told it would take about an hour. My husband and I left but were called right away to come back because they needed to order the part! I had to make a new reservation and come back the following week.It was rather annoying that they didn’t order the part for my first visit. They did take care of it fine.

Well...where to begin. After back and forth for several days, I was told there was some wiggle room on price come test drive it. So, I drove several hours to test drive my new vehicle. On my way there, they called and stated no way could they adjust the price any, and didnt want to negotiate. Disgusted I finished my drive. When I arrived, they showed me the Carfax, showed me the vehicle, I asked directly, was this vehicle wrecked? No..was the answer, well the hood was new, wrong color underneath, drive shaft been replaced, seatbelts that didnt work, electric issues, bypassed the SRS, and then wanted to negotiate pricing, huh. We purchased a used Fiat 500 and the day we drove it off the lot the power steering went out. Mentor kia took care of replacing the steering column which would have been extremely costly to us. My 2020 kia optima was having issues. I got it towed to Mentor KIA because closest dealership. They didnt have a car to borrow so had to get my own rental...factory warranty...I had to get my own. It just kicked a code so we cleared it and did a system upgrade...they said. Three days later ...same issue. Drive it to different dealership ony way to work and the car had a recall. A knock sensor. MENTOR KIA could have fixed it in the beginning and saved me money but failed. They claimed lack of employees. There were plenty of employees when I walked in!

Dee was such a professional, she also was juggling 3 customers and I still felt all the customer service placed on me. She helped me find the vehicle and all the amenities it had to offer. Dee was awesome, and the finance guy helped the process along very smoothly. Will be using mentor kia again.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would... The sales man was condescending and rude. I get you want to make a commission but your customer should be more important than just a sale. I had a lot more questions and would have considered a lot more options but after that experience I wont go back.

Name is jennifer hasto car is having same issue again with sensor.Called and its gonna take 3 weeks till they can look at it and no rental cars.Um how am i susposed to get to work.They claim to give you a rental any time my car is in the shop and once again they cant fullfill what they promise.False advertising.Waiting 3 weeks is unacceptableI get better treatment with my old mechanic without a warrantyn full coverage and i didnt buy the car from him either .This is a car dealership right.????
