Had to give this place a second chance after the last few stop ins a long time ago. I had to say I was impressed with their selection of affordable firearms. Not only that but that had plenty of great accessories and cleaning kits to get a beginner started. It’s hard to find gun stores anymore that aren’t trying to get top dollar for all their inventory. Two staff members on site were friendly (which is very rare in most gun stores)

Poor customer experience. I entered the store and was treated with a nice “welcome in” type attitude, but the moment I was asking questions towards prices from the product on the shelve, I got the presence that the employee was agitated with my curiosity about the prices. I explained to him that I had a hard time viewing the prices, which is because they are very small and sometimes not visible at all. I said this because I was attempting to make my statement known that I wasn’t complaining about the prices, but to show I wasn’t able to read the prices (as they are behind the counter). I was slowly getting upset with the employees tone and how he portrayed my younger apparel as if I didn’t know anything about what I wanted. I was simply browsing the store as I was for multiple others. While I was browsing through the store the employees continued to remind me that they where very low on stock and how I should know that because of the pandemic but I was in a multiple other stores that very same day, in which all the other stores had been somewhat reasonably stocked. The reason I was sifting through stores was for an older ammo that I was curious to know if any stores near me owned any. So I viewed the reasons for the empty selves was not because of the pandemic but the lack of incomes created by the employees causing a poor customer experience.

I am not super experienced in firearm information. The staff were patient and knowledgeable. At no point did I feel pressured to buy. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat. Thank you for running an upstanding an honest establishment.

Ive always read reviews of various establishments and this shops reviews I liked. Upon my arrival I was greeted and assisted by Wayne. Im not a gun owner, never fired a gun nor shot one. Wayne told me based on my needs what he felt was suitable for me while allowing me to make the final decision. He was very knowledgeable about the guns shown while being very patient with me. Shout out to Jack who also shared very informative information. You guys are the Bomb! Oh can I say that? 😆 Lol. I recommend this shop to everyone looking to purchase a firearm from a womans opinion.!!!! Kudos😉

I wanted to give a shout out to Bob P and the CCW classes offered thru Silverado Arms. Bob does a terrific job presenting the materials, answering questions, making you feel at ease and instruction on the range. I would high recommend enrolling in his class. The one/one instruction is great. My husband and I took the class together and were very pleased. Great job and thank you.

A friend of mine came into this shop yesterday, trying to see what was available for purchase. When walking into the store was not greeted, then finally was approached by the older gentleman who does the ccw classes who was completely rude and obviously hated his job because of the insane attitude and rudeness!! My friend proceeded to ask questions about a few things and this guy was short and moody and very non professional!! If you dont want to be in the job of people asking u questions especially about firearms then u should definitely change jobs!! I would not recommend going here and expecting proper help or information regarding firearms. This guy was completely rude and seemed to be bothered by the questions of help!!! If i could give 0 stars i would!!!

Extremely polite and professional was in and out of there in 20 minutes, wouldnt hesitate to do business with again.

Just stopped by to pick up some ammo and a USAF flag to display at my home. While at the store the owner asked me if I was a veteran because a previous customer purchased a couple of hats with the instructions to give one to the next veteran that stopped by. Made my day!! The photo is one of shrapnel from an exploded IED near where I was asleep, almost 49 years ago! God Bless America!

Without a doubt, Silverado has the best employees, products and prices. Their knowledge and expertise is above all others. They truly care about helping you make the right decision in which firearm is best for you..not just in making a sale.

Bought a AK from these guys, the gentleman behind the counter was really nice and helpful. Smooth process.

These fellas are knowledgeable and after a short warmup, they are very friendly and open. The prices are fair and the stock is pretty diverse. No offense to the AR and 1911 crowd but its nice to see a bolt action or a revolver here and there.

First time gun buyer.My wife and I were traveling to the Cleveland to visit family. I wanted to buy her her first handgun and we had some time in Mentor so we stopped by with my brother-in-law. The two friendly guys behind the counter, Steve and Wayne, were great! We were a little intimidated first walking in, having never been to a gun store before, but man were they friendly and welcoming.After talking for a bit they let us know that because we were from out of state they couldnt actually sell us a firearm, but that didnt deter them at all from helping us understand all the different makes, models and options available to her. The time they spent with us was invaluable. We learned quite a bit and became much more comfortable with how to properly handle a handgun.After retuning home and comparing our stores prices with Silverados, Silverados were much better and we wish we could have bought from them.
