This is updated on 7/26/2020. The owner Vince Sollazo is so dishonest he just wrote a review here advertising the business without identifying himself. Buyers beware of this business.I have all the cars in my family serviced by this business for 20+ years except for an occasional oil change done at the dealership during a recall service. After my recent experience, I will be looking for another mechanic.I had an alternator replaced 4.5 years ago according to Goodyears record. About a year later, the battery light on dashboard blinked a few times after car started but goes away after a little while. This happened several times but not always. I called and talked to Vince, one of the owner and he said to just keep an eye on it. I thought about having him replace the alternator since it was under warranty but didnt insist because he didnt suggest it.I had a battery installed about a year and half later by them because the battery light came on and they said I needed a new one. On my way home, the battery light on dashboard blinks again. I called right away and talked to Thomas and he said keep an eye on it.The battery light comes on occasionally for a short while, since I was told to keep an eye on it, I didnt think much about it. Couple days ago the battery light came on at stop light and stayed on until the car moves, I called Vince and was told to bring it in.After he did the test, I was told it was the alternator and he can install a new one and a belt for under $600.00. I asked what was the best he can do because this has been a problem ever since a year after they replaced the alternator. His response was the alternator is 4.5 years old and he cant take it back to get credit for it and he priced out the cheapest alternator for me already. My thought is why he didnt tell me to bring the car back 3.5 years ago when I called about the problem and replace it for free when alternator was in warranty but chose to tell me to keep an eye on it. Now he wants about $600 to replace it and a belt.I should have insisted on replacing the alternator 3.5 years ago when I first called since it was still in warranty but I trusted the business so I didnt want to question. I just didnt know not insisting on a mechanic doing the job would be costing me the price of a new alternator only 4.5 years after replacement.I picked up the car and paid $26.00 for diagnostics. That is the last dollar I will spend with this business since I shouldnt have to pay anything if they would replace it when the problem started. I will be looking for another mechanic for at least the next 20+ years.

Not trustworthy. I purchased a set of four tires and set up a time chosen by Trust. The vehicle was dropped off in the afternoon a day ahead of the appointment. Trust had a couple hours the day before as well as the entire day the day of the appointment. I was promised a time of 4:30. 4:30 came and went without any communication from Trust. When I called I was informed that the vehicle was not serviced. It sounded as though I was forgotten about. I informed the service person that I would like to take my vehicle somewhere else. I was then told that the vehicle was being serviced which was contrary to his previous statement. The lies continued as I attempted to retrieve my vehicle.Long story short, they are not honest or trustworthy.

Im really not sure. We took our sons car in because it kept overheating and was making a weird noise from the engine. They replaced the radiator and some other stuff, but did not fix the noise. Took it back. They fixed the noise. Said the timing belt was misaligned or something like that. Fixed it. Not quite sure what else they did. Almost $1000 later, after three weeks of in and out of the repair shop, the car quit again. Brought it back in. Determined there was a leak in the supposedly new radiator and that he might have a bad head gasket. Fixed the leak, put some fluid in to repair the head gasket. Car worked for three days and died again. We tried the same fluid they recommended for the head gasket. Nothing. Decided to take it to another mechanic. Head gasket is blown, and is now warped from the heat. Getting it fixed. This was probably the problem from the beginning. Just not sure. No more confidence in them unfortunately.

Called at 3:45p to verify they were ready. Good thing you called, we still arent ready. They had said theyd call her if they couldnt move the appointment to 4. They didnt. She came in 45 minutes later. The rims were still in the box and not mounted. 45 minutes after that, her car was still sitting in the lot. When she asked why, they moved the car inside. She was there 2 1/2 hours. 24 hours later, one of the tires is flat. You should avoid this place at all costs if you value your time or having work done correctly.

Went here to get my brakes replaced on the day before Christmas Eve. The guys were honest and very good with explaining the problem. They automatically applied applicable coupons before I asked. The price was a little high, but it was a necessary fix and I dont actually know much about car part pricing.I came back a month later because I was hearing noises when I was braking. The guys drove it around and couldnt get the car to make the noise. One of the mechanics, John, rode with me as I tried to make the noise. I couldnt make it happen. John offered to take the brakes off and look at them. He looked and had Thomas explain that the brakes hadnt been fully broken in yet, and that was the reason for the noise. I assumed I would need to pay for labor as it had taken about an hour to get to that point, but they didnt charge me anything and told me to come back if the noise got more persistent.Thomas and John made my experience here first class. Thanks, guys.

(Part 2 of 2)Finally, my husband had to go down to the shop and confront the manager directly and to ask what, if anything, he was going to do to make this situation right. The manager kept bringing the conversation back to the faulty safety latch, the integrity of their business and the car rental having been more than they were willing to pay. Throughout this discussion my husband continued to insist that “this doesnt look good.”The next day we received a call from Trust Tire & Auto Service, with an apology for a lapse in follow-through, and an invitation to go down and pick up a check for half the cost of the rental. They also threw in a free oil change. We do not wish to denigrate this business but given the particulars our story, its extremely unlikely that we will go back to Trust Tire & Auto Service.

WOW! An honest-to-goodness honest auto repair shop! A national oil/muffler repair chain told me I needed new brakes on my Rav4. They said I only had 3,000 miles left on my front brake pads. WRONG! Took my car into Goodyear Tire and Service. Upon inspecting the brakes, they asked again why I was here. I said I was told I needed new pads for the front brakes. They took me to the repair room and explained that my brakes were in perfect condition and that I had plenty of pad left on my brakes. There was absolutely no reason to get get a brake job. I apologized for the inconvenience I caused them and asked what do I owe you guys. They replied, Nothing at all. Glad we could help. Wow, I thought. Ive put Trust Tire to the test with several different repairs over the last year and each time I have been extremely happy with the services provided. I was a bit leery after seeing some of the reviews but when I got a flat tire down the road they were the logical choice and since then I have only used them whenever I need anything done on my 2005 Mini Cooper. A lot of service places will hem and haw about working on a Mini...but not Trust. They took each challenge in stride. The last repair I had them do they even went above and beyond to find a way to bring the cost down...something VERY rare at any business no less a car repair shop. They did the same when I got my oil changed...they went out of their way to find a coupon for me. Being a woman I always wonder if Ill get taken advantage of....however I had my dad, who knows a lot about cars, double check each suggestion and repair from Trust and he validated each one and he too was impressed with their work. If youre hesitant Id give them a try. Their prices are fair, the employees are very nice and the shop is professional and clean.

I have been to to Good Year tire and service in Mequon on several occasion, and have generally been satisfied with the the service. However almost two hours for an oil change, seemed to long, especially with a scheduled appointment. It probably wouldve been three hours or more if I didnt start asking about my vehicle. Even after they told me it be ready in five minutes, it took about another half hour for them to finish, apparently, they put to much oil in the vehicle. I understand that every business has problem days, or bad days, where service isnt up to par, however, when customer neglect, is a factor, then thing get really frustrating. Grant it, they knocked a couple bucks off my bill, but I dont think Ill return to have my car serviced at this location.

Brought it back in, while I was in the waiting room they did a repair for a nail in tire and charged me another $40! I didnt authorize this repair, I would have taken it elsewhere as this type repair does not cost $40! I went back in and talked with the management as this just didnt sit well with me. They just stated that their prices are posted, however I never authorized them to do any work they just did it. I did not receive the customer service that I would have hoped for and will never return.

Despite going to these guys several (4) times for the same problem over the course of 18 months, I felt that they were friendly and were telling the truth when they said that they tried everything they could to solve my problem. However, I finally decided to take my car to a different place on a whim, and lo and behold, they said that they could fix it in a few minutes. They not only fixed the problem I was having, but 2 years later, I still havent had to take it in again. I asked the new service repair shop what the issue was and they said simply Well, there are two options. Either those guys (Trust Tire & Auto Service) were lying to you or their craftsmanship is crappy because any shop can take care of this problem easily. I called back to Trust Tire to ask why this would be a problem and why it cost me about 8 times as much (the new guys said I was being overcharged too, and did it for half the cost) to not solve a problem. They mumbled around, got angry and passively aggressively cut me off and put me on hold for long stretches of time. So basically, this is my first review that Ive ever written for any business because of how terrible the service was at this place. I understand that there are variations in service and I try to be as reasonable a customer as possible, but this service was just atrocious. Over-priced, lazy or ineffective craftsmanship, and no concept of customer service. This place is the trifecta of poor service and I believe the only reason why are in business is because they know they can overcharge and under deliver to the more affluent demographic up in Mequon. I highly recommend that you go somewhere else for your business.

I had a great visit to the shop for an oil change and will go again however I am rating this one star for one reason, in hopes the owner sees this.Look, car mechanics and shops such as these get a bad reputation for the lack of transparency and feeling of being ripped off in the process of getting maintenance on their car. Whether or not quotes on vehicles are appropriate falls outside of my expertise and most of the time Ill err on the mechanics side. However, I was interested in reading some of the reviews since the overall rating was low and I didnt get that feeling when I went there so I opened and read through. Seeing a rebuttal from the owner on virtually every negative review displaying a pseudo-arrogance in the tone is concerning.Yes, youre trying to protect your brand but casually reviewing and reading through each rebuttal makes me actually want to avoid going here. Most of the time when people read negative reviews they think eh, Im smarter than the person reviewing, I need to experience it to believe it (you know, until it happens to me...). But in this instance, its very clear that there is a dismissive tone used by the owner, essentially confirming inherent feelings the public has of mechanics. This tone alone is enough to deter potential customers.I hope the owner reads this and really thinks about the tone that is coming across as the responses alone are deterring more than the negative reviews by customers.

Quote from owner : Go ahead and leave a bad rating, weve SUED people for that in the past and we will SUE YOU!I went here because I worked around the corner and figured they could handle an oil change/rotation/basic stuff. Every single time Id get a laundry list of stuff that was imperative that I fix ASAP. Right, but why was the list almost always different, and no one had any recollection of the previous issues? Shouldve been a red flag right there. So one time, me being the genius I am, I took it in for an oil change and asked for the headlight to be replaced because the outside one actually needed the wheel off and bumper popped on top in order to get at. I get it back and they say the headlight is actually snapped off. Guys, I checked before hand, it wasnt broken it was just difficult for me to get to without having a jack stand and I SPECIFICALLY told you thats why I brought it in. So I look at the part and you can CLEARLY see where the grunt working on it tried twisting it out so forcefully that it broke in 4 places and showed obvious signs of being twisted counter-clockwise. Again, I didnt change it myself because it WASNT a simple twist out and replace bulb.So I bring this up to the neanderthal with the personality of a thumb-tack that works the front counter and he calls me a liar, despite me having the part in hand and showing obvious proof. So now I need to replace the ENTIRE headlight assembly. I find one on eBay and ask the owner if he would either split the cost and I would have it done elsewhere, or Ill buy it and they install it free of charge. He laughed, said no, and hung up on me.Called back one more time and told them I would be leaving a 1-star rating for every single time I had brought my car in, because each one was a bad experience. Their response. Go ahead and leave a bad rating, weve SUED people for that in the past and we will SUE YOU! BAHAHAHAHAHAHA... stick to turning wrenches, clown.Update - Owner claims I am racist... How so? For referring to a previous hominid species? Clearly isnt a lawyer OR a scientist. This occurred about 2 years ago, though I will admit I forgot to post my review until I heard an acquaintance mention shady upsells as well. I spoke with you like a man then, though the owners partner could barely look me in the eyes, so I can understand why he would forget.Show some respect? Read your arrogant/ignorant responses to the posts, and your clearly shoddy business practices. Every negative story is the same; theres always something catastrophically wrong with the car, the job takes longer than it should and costs more than quoted but you did the work regardless, or the owner and his minion are just straight up jerks/creepers.What little respect I had went out the window when not only did you refuse to take responsibility for your boneheaded error, but you threatened in the process. Have a good day!

Summary: I feel confident that they do a good job, and at reasonable price for their work. I will definitely go there again. My 1997 Chevy G1500 van front brakes starting making noise, and within a week the screeching was metal on metal, so I knew I waited a bit too long to get it fixed. I lived in this area for 20+ years, and usually took the van to the Chevy dealer to get it fixed when I could not do it myself. This time though I wanted to try someone closer to home because the dealer prices for their work always seems excessive, and the last couple of times the quality of their work was sub-par. So I Googled places nearby and decided on a local place, Mequon Goodyear - Trust Tire & Auto Service. I happened to be nearby on Saturday, and stopped in to see if they could take a look and give me an estimate. Mr V (made up name, but I think he was the owner) came out and told me they were real busy, and could not help me today…And to stop by on Tuesday. So Tuesday I called, and he was able to fit me in so I dropped off the van during lunchtime. Sometime later in the afty, Mr V called me and gave me the (bad) news. New front rotors, pads, etc., estimate $380+. Why so high? He explained because of the age/type of brakes etc. I forget all the details, but I do remember that he explained it well, and answered my questions to my satisfaction. I gave the ok to proceed, and he said they could get it done the next day, which was fine for me. The next day Mr V called and said it was ready, so I picked it up late afty. He explained that since they had to remove the front wheels bearings, he also repacked the bearings at no charge (Thanks again Mr V!). How do I know they did a good job? I don’t. So what that it’s been over a week now and no problems. More importantly, my interactions with Mr V, and observations of him interacting with a customer at the counter, and another customer on the phone, made it clear to me these guys work hard, and care about what they do…and seem to have a desire to get it done right. So that is why I feel confident in their work.

On Tuesday night I got a flat tire. Wednesday morning I took my tire in to be looked at. The gentleman behind the counter told me they would look at it and it would be done by the end of the day. At 3:30 I called to check on the status of my tire. I was told it had not been looked at but they would be getting to it before the end of the day. At 6:11pm I received a phone call saying they were sorry, but they had not gotten to my tire and asked if they could keep it overnight. I agreed thinking that it would be on the top of their to do list the next morning. Big mistake! Thursday has now come and gone and I am still without my tire. How long does it take to look at a tire and see if you can patch it, or if I need a new tire? While I understand that this is a busy time of year, if you are unable to service a customer let them know that. I have now been horribly inconvenienced, had to cancel appointments as I do not feel safe driving any sort of distance on my spare tire. I have taken my car into Trust Tire & Auto Service many times for oil changes. More times then not, upon picking up my vehicle, the mechanics give me a long list of pricey repairs that need to be done in addition to my oil change. On occasion I have trusted them, however the more often it happened, the more skeptical I became. This last visit I brought my 2000 Camry in for an oil change and the mechanics told me my brakes were virtually non functioning, I had a locked caliper, and that my brake fluid was black and dirty. I currently live in Minneapolis and only stop here when I visit my family in Mequon. The mechanic told me that it would be dangerous to drive back to Minneapolis with the condition of my brakes, my locked caliper, and my dirty brake fluid. They wanted to charge me almost $800 to repair everything. I didnt feel anything wrong with my breaks so was very reluctant to spend that much money. I decided (nervously) not to do the repairs there.I then took my car into a good trustworthy shop in Minneapolis, Paul Williams Tire. I told them everything that Trust Tire and Auto Service said had to be done and they were shocked! Not only did they tell me that my brakes were fine, but they told me there is no way I have a locked caliper or dirty brake fluid!!! They even took me out to my car to show me my brake fluid and compared the color to NEW brake fluid. It was not black and dirty and looked virtually the SAME as new brake fluid!!!!! They explained everything to me very well and didnt charge me anything! I feel so lucky to have gone with my instincts, but also very upset and disgusted with Trust Tire & Auto Service, a company my family has given a lot of money to.I, nor my family in Mequon, will ever go to this place again. How can these people live with themselves for taking advantage of others?Good riddance Trust Tire & Auto Service!

(Part 1 of 2)I went to Trust Tire & Auto Service to have my biennial emissions test done as it was conveniently located up the road from our home. The vehicle failed, so I had them go ahead and perform the diagnostic as well. As it happens, my vehicle needed a fair amount of work done. The (front/firewall) catalytic converter, the air/fuel ratio sensor (bank 1) and the rear wheel bearing assembly all needed to be replaced along with a couple of exhaust gaskets and a spring bolt kit. After receiving a credit for the diagnostic and coupon for $50.00 these services totaled $1879.09. We thought this was a lot of money but agreed that it was money well spent if it made the vehicle safe.In order to prepare to pass my next emissions test, I was told to warm the vehicle up on the highway—to get it up over 60mph. I picked it up and the next day that is what I did.Driving south on 43 at over 60 mph with my four children in the back, the hood suddenly flew up and broke the windshield. This obstructed my view of the road making it nearly impossible to see—only a narrow gap beneath the hood and through the cracks allowed any view of the road and traffic around me. By the grace of God I was able to pull onto the shoulder. No one was injured. Using both hands, I forced the damaged hood back down. This was a shocking turn of events that took the rest of the day to process. After contacting the Mequon Police Department and being assigned an incident number, I began an extended series of conversations with Trust Tire & Auto Service and our insurance company. In the time that had passed since Trust Tire & Auto Service had completed the work the previous day neither my husband nor I had touched the interior hood release handle or the secondary safety latch beneath the hood. We were certain that this accident, which might have cost my children and me our lives, was caused by worker negligence. When the management paid a visit to my home to check on us and to assess the damage, they denied having ever even opened the hood and determined that the accident had been due to a faulty safety latch.Trust Tire & Auto Service referred us to a local auto body shop and encouraged the proprietor to find a way to eat the deductible. They also suggested that I rent a car so that we would not need to miss a family reunion in Michigan that weekend. They offered to assist with the rental fee. We appreciated these ideas and the conciliatory tone of one manager in particular…However, after returning the rental car 6 days later I was told by Trust Tire & Auto Service to pay the rental fee, give them the receipt and that they would get back to me right away. I waited for a period of two weeks. They did not contact me. During this time, I began to call competitors and without mentioning any names asked this question, “How likely is it that you would do this kind of work on a vehicle and not get under the hood?” Over and over again the answer came back, “Not likely”.One of these went so as far as to request part numbers. He circled the parts in diagrams, and asked for a picture of our engine so that he could circle where the work would have needed to be done. In the case of the air/fuel ratio sensor it seemed quite obvious that the hood would need to be lifted if the work was to be done in a workmanlike manner.I called three times to speak with the management of Trust Tire & Auto Service to get resolution. At this point, three weeks had gone by and I began to feel as though I was chasing them to follow through on something that they had offered to do for us. I also began to develop the nagging suspicion that there had been a greater degree of culpability on their part than they were prepared to confess.(Concluded in Part 2 of 2)

DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE! Went to get and oil change and they did not replace the oil in my car. The car shut down and there could be possible damage to the engine as a result of not replacing the oil.
