Bagels are great, service is unfortunately not. Every time I come to this location I regret not driving to the Chinden one instead.Call ahead orders are routinely forgotten about or I’m usually left regretting calling ahead as it would be faster to just wait at the end of the line with all of the customers in the store instead of calling 20 minutes beforehand. The staff are young and friendly but not great at managing customers or resetting expectations.I recently had a call ahead order for just 1 bagel. I was told they needed 10-15 minutes. I arrived when they told me to, waited 10 minutes without being acknowledged or even looked at, and then when I checked in on my pickup order I was just told “we don’t have that” and the girl walked away. I understand things are busy and the staff is young, but the interactions I’ve had here have just been disappointing.It’s too bad, the bagels here really are the best. I hope this location can get their service/ customer experience to match the quality of the food here and this place would be incredible! It’s no fun eating a bagel when grumpy because of bad experiences getting the actual food :(

Always excellent, but I’ve noticed since the pandemic, the flavored cream cheeses are coming out with a huge void in the middle of the container. Prices have gone up, but the quantity has reduced by nearly 20% from what we’re used to on average.

Best bagels in Boise hands down. And better yet they are made with no preservatives!

Blue Sky Bagels never disappoints! I go there for an individual Bagel once in a while but I also use them when I am presenting to a group for work. It is quick and well priced to provide a couple dozen Bagels and cream cheese to someone.

Every time we get an order from the Fairview location it is wrong. And then they act like it’s our fault when we want it corrected. I recommend the location downtown where they take pride in there service

Bagels are decent. Average for a bagel, nothing really exceptional or awful.Big issues are the flies. I get it - were in Boise, and have to accept some of the nuisance that comes from flies in the summer. But my god, it is BAD here. Spent more time trying to swat 10000 flies away than actually eating. I dont even want to think about how often those things land on the food before you even touch it.

My roommate and I love to go out and we love similar foods. Covid of course hit the restaurant industry hard. We were out in Meridian and debating lunch and realized we could go here! The staff were all friendly, the food was fresh, I saw Hummus on the menu now, too, and we enjoyed some of the most delicious bagel sandwiches known to mankind! We had a delicious time! We will be back!!

My grandson has been wanting to have lunch at Blu Sky for awhile. We were in the area and stopped in today. The young woman that waited on us was superb. She was extremely helpful giving suggestions. The lunch was great. We will be back.

I really love the food here and the staff are super friendly. I have been going for years at least once every week or two. But I must say recently the last couple times I have been, there has been hair in my food. Once it was baked in to the cheese on my bagel. Another time it was inside my bagel sandwich. One time I could get over it. But now Im rethinking going here in the future.

We love Blue Sky and normally it is always excellent. Today was not the case with regard to customer service. We placed our order, went through the line, paid for our bagel and sandwich with the manager and then sat waiting for 30 minutes! We stood right next to the end of the line and the next 10 people in line all got their orders (some extremely large orders) while we didnt. Nobody noticed us. The manager was right there and even took a break to buy herself a fountain drink and relax while we STILL were not even asked if we had received our food. My wife finally asked an employee to check and it became clear they had LOST our order. The employee came back and had to ask for our order again and we had to wait another 10 minutes to receive it. No apologies were made. The manager was completely oblivious. Their system was chaotic and disorganized as ever. We love this local business but we are disappointed and hesitant to return to this location.

Delicious bagels and tasty ingredients. I enjoy the breakfast and lunch style bagels offered. They also offer bagels by the dozen or half dozen along with cream cheese containers. Cant get enough of the cinnamon sugar bagels.

I usually stop by the one in Boise after a haircut. Always super friendly and never disappointed. I can not say the same for this location. It was my first time here and itll certainly be my last. No one here was on the same page. Crazy hectic and unorganized! I was over charged, paying twice for the begals that I had ordered. Which obviously happened because of the lack of communication between the workers. Highly unsatisfied.

Blue sky bagels has gone down hill for sure. My wife tuna made her feel nausea. For some reason quality is lacking and flavor. Selections have been cut as well. Sad, because we liked it there.

Thank goodness the bagel is good, because if I had to go through this kind of service again I would never order any blue sky bagel anywhere. Must be the Sunday tweetle Dee and tweetle Dee in there running the place. Sweet as honey, but my goodness frustrating! At least give me napkins and tell me you are tipping yourself so I dont hand you $!! The ordering process I will avoid in the future, as I will with this location.

They used to make hot bagels all day long. Now it’s only at 4 am. So they are hard by 10am. I can buy hard bagels anywhere. The service is terrific. Everyone is nice. Price is average for a bagel shop. They make good sandwiches. But, if you are looking for a hot bagel, it’s not here.

This will always be my favorite bagel and sandwich shop. The staff are always so great and the bagels are AMAZING. My favorites are the parmesan, cinnamon raisin, and everything bagels (GET IT TOASTED!!). Ive been coming here all the time for at least ten years and Im never disappointed.

Food was ok, service not so great. This was my first time at this location and I brought my kids and my husband. We were rushed to order. Looking over the menu and deciding what to get the kids then not having time to decide for us due to the rush was a big disappointment. Not everyone has been there before and knows exactly what they want. After the attitude from the workers of us not being ready we just decided skrew it and just ordered the kids sandwiches.

Watch out theyll give away your order!The food is good and prices are reasonable, but customer service is lacking. Today we completed the order process without issues, but were only handed one of our bagels. I waited more than five minutes until one of the workers looked at me and then looked at another customer and the order they had. This worker went and talked to another worker (manager?) and glanced back at me still standing waiting for my order. Both just went back to serving other customers. A few minutes passed and I realized they were not going to address the issue. So I informed the manager-like worker that I had not received my order, she immediately named my order and made a new one. She handed it to me, no explanation, no apology.Update 02/19/2019: Blue Sky ownership reached out and apologized. They explained their plans to address this issue and I appreciated how responsive they were. This response alone has convinced me to increase my rating to 4-Stars.

Our first time and we will not be back. The coffee was really the only good thing. We felt very rushed and it was the manager who took our order and was training. They don’t have jalapeño bagels and they don’t have sausage. The cashier was nice. The bagels had zero flavor. Literally we had a ham egg and cheese bagel on an everything bagel with cream cheese on the side and I ate my whole bagel with a very occasional flavor of garlic and that was it! Generic cream cheese taste better than their plain cream cheese. And our bagel had 1 TINY slice of ham on it.

He brought me an amazing bagel it had cream cheese,spinach,ham,eggs,cheese,Portobello mushrooms on an flaky light very tasty bagel. By far the best breakfast bagel Ive ever eaten in my life. Super amazing service. I came in at 5:58, 2 minutes before they closed and the two girls were extremely kind and still made me a couple of amazing bagels. It totally made my day! This was the day after July 4th, so I imagine that they were getting eager to close, but they all went the extra mile for me. The food tastes amazing, and fresh! I feel super healthy and wholesome everytime I go.

It was our first time here, the lady behind the counter seemed bothered that we were there, even after stating we had never been here before. There were four in my party and no one else waiting behind us. I thought the bagels tasted okay, my wife broke a tooth biting into hers.

The prices here are so adorable for a fantastic meal! Me and my wife love to get one parmesan with bacon scallion and one cranberry orange with berry berry.

Really hate the meridian location. Been there multiple times and I have never had a good experience. They either mess up your order, give you the wrong order or miss place your order and are waiting and then they have to remake it. Today there was only two people, about 15 people in line, they kept messing up orders, giving them to the wrong person or somehow losing the order. One guy was waiting for 25 minutes before he finally went up and asked. When I didn’t finally get my bagel after being given the wrong one, there was like no cream cheese, driest bagel ever. The Boise location is awesome; 5 stars. The Meridian location, horrible, 2 stars. Avoid the Meridian location if possible!

I had a big order (8 dozens), and normally you should call in advance, but I didnt knew about it. But stuff was helpful, and fast, and packed well, gave suggested amount of cream cheese. And taste of this bagels, you cant compare to anything! Whole office was fed and happy!

I have loved these guys primarily for lunch bagels. I love the tomato basil soup and thats the primary reason I ever went there in the first place. Its been over a year, but they dont have it every day any longer. This is a big mistake.

I stopped in with my little sister to pick up bagels for breakfast, we both opted for everything bagels. She got the jalapeno cream cheese, and I tried the bacon-scallion. We both thought the cream cheese flavors were excellent, but we also agreed that the bagels were not very tender. Also, I miss fennel seeds in the everything mix.

Nice twist on breakfast. Little $ . But worth it. Both (down town & Fairview location) have awesome staff been 2 both several times will go again
