Thank you RC Bean for helping me fix my beautiful spur straps. I lost a concho and had it held together with a zip tie for a good while and finally went in and asked for help to get it fixed. They had a single concho and sold it to me at a reduced price and cleaned my spurs and straps and I can’t be more thrilled at how much care they took. Amazing business and people!

I went to RC Bean to get a hard to fit horse measured for a saddle or pad, I liked my saddle and it wasn’t very old. Rick was able to shim my pad to make it work, I was very happy. About a year and half later, We have a little philly that we are working and my saddle wouldn’t fit her, it was too long. I took both of our horses in to see if I could get Measured and fitted for a saddle, amazingly Rick said he had a saddle he thought would work on both horses. Rick gave me a lesson on saddle building to find the best built saddle for what I was looking for. I will try to buy all my tack from Rick. He is a small businessman who has to deal with being a business owner and trying to make a living in this world of internet sales and cheap prices for cheap saddles and tack. I value his expertise, you can’t find his kind of knowledge and patience on an internet sales sight. Thank you Rick, you have made my riding more enjoyable.

Best place ever!

I dropped a saddle off to have some repair work done it. Rick looked at it at the time and said that he would be able to repair it. I left my name and number and was told theyd give me a call. I just called to check to see if theyve had a chance to work on my saddle and the lady told me that Rick doesnt want to be bothered by working on your saddle. I asked why I hadnt been called by now to come pickup my saddle and all she could say was I dont know but we dont want to work on your saddle. Not very happy with RC Bean, seemed like a great place to go for leather repair but I cant say that Ill be using them again.

By far the most Knowledgeable, patient, and efficient. Does not try n upsale you. Makes sure you have what you need for you and your horse are safe

What an awesome experience. Had my horse and saddle looked at for fit. Learned today that youre never too old to learn new things.

I picked out a couple pairs of stirrups at Beans (one silver engraved pair and one copper pair). The silver were marked $55. There were several of the same stirrups all with different prices. $55 was the cheapest to $125 or so. I grabbed the cheapest pair and also a the copper set that were marked at $52. I paid for the silver and took them home that day. The copper ones needed wrapped so I left them. I also had two saddle to have the stirrups turned on. After a week and a half I called to check if my things were done and the saddles were done-but not the stirrups. One saddle had the stirrups turned and the other had nothing done with it. When I dropped off the saddles we discussed having to cut the fenders. I agreed. The one saddle he was able to turn without cutting. The second saddle required cutting so he did nothing. A week later I called again on the stirrups and they were finally done. I went to pick them up and the $52 price tag had been replaced with a $250 tag. I am assuming they were mismarked with the $52 price tag but they acted like that was the price the whole time. The original write up with the price and list of things he was to do had also mysteriously vanished. If they eventually realized they had made a mistake on the price they should have called and said so. Pretty disappointed with the customer service.
