Ate here yesterday for lunch. I had no idea that this place was here. Reminds me of the old Navy days in San Diego getting REAL Mexican food from Papa and Mama restaurants in the barrios. It is good. Very good food. The lady taking your order will make sure you get what you want. This isnt taco bell tacos. The real stuff here.

The flavor wasnt the best. Im not a big fan of corn tortillas. I prefer flour. Ill probably try out the one on 8th Street that I heard about. Will likely not be back here.Its probably just me though because Ive been Americanized :-( sorry!

The ppl were really nice. There are lots of interesting cultural foods in the store. The restaurant part was closed down for repairs so I didnt get any hot food.

This was my first time stopping by and omg, I love this place. I wish I had known before hand that the portions were HUGE, but thats good problem to have. I plan on stopping back by to shop for fresh meats and cheeses. If you are in the mood for authentic tacos this is a MUST. The staff was really nice and the service was excellent. I tried the carnitas mix tacos and cubana torta, and it was amazing. I found my new spot😁👍🏾
