I took my son here to have his tinnitus assessed. We had been previously required to have a hearing test done by our primary care physician. When we arrived for our first appointment at Ascentist, they told me my son would have to take another hearing test. I told them I had my primary care doc fax one over that morning (no deficiencies noted) specifically so we wouldn’t have to take another hearing test. They stated they didn’t have it and he would have to take another hearing test. I asked them to check again. They did, and found our hearing test. Saw the doc and was told that my son needed to see an audiologist for additional treatment that very few providers were able to do. We came back for that appointment and were told we needed an additional hearing test for their records. There was already one on file which we told them multiple times. They did the hearing test, nonetheless and everything came back normal, which we already knew. Then this state of the art treatment they provided was for my son to take his phone out, download an app, and then do the exercises daily. That was it. They gave me a bill for $178.43 to re-take a hearing test and then download an app to my son’s phone. I called and complained and they told me that I would still have to pay the bill. I talked to the billing manager and was told the same. This is a joke and we will not be paying the ridiculous bill for this “state of the art” treatment. I won’t be back to a place that cares more about making money, rather than taking care of their patients.
Dont really trust this place. I had a CT scan done at another Hospital. Carried the CT Disc to my appointment and the Dr. said he couldnt read the CT because it wasnt clear and said it was blurry so I would have to have a CT scan at their place instead. I talked with radiology that took the scan and they said theyre playing the power game. So I scheduled an appointment with another Dr. there and he had no problem reading the CT and I went forward with the procedure.
We’ve had a fantastic experience with Ascentist ENT. The entire staff has been so kind and helpful. They return calls quickly and make scheduling a breeze. Dr Aberle did my sons ear tube surgery at just 9 months old. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process and I felt like my son was in great hands with Dr Aberle. She’s empathetic, she listens and she really helps put your worrying at ease. If you’re looking for an ENT for yourself or your child I would highly recommend Dr Aberle.
When I first arrived at 9:30am the lady who checked me in was kinda rude(not the younger one). Perhaps she was having a bad day but she was not rude to other patients that was clear. My appointment was scheduled for 10am. I was not called until 10:13am. The other staff members were pleasant and welcoming. I wish that I were greeted by someone else because I would have given a much different review. Being that she set the negative tone for my entire visit, I seriously hope customer service retraining should be a next step.
From the front desk to the nurse to the doctor all top notch I was going to go to another place which had a lower rating which kind of scared me when it comes to my ears Im glad I made the switch I would do the same I would go to this place you will be very pleased with the staff and how well they perform the procedures
Wish I could give 0 stars but unfortunately you have to give at least 1 so here we are. But I wouldnt suggest anyone go here, theyll charge you $800 and do nothing even with good insurance. I was there for 30 minutes and just examining my nose was an $800 visit. The doctor said he wanted to look at things not stating that it would be $800 to look at. A basic consultation will cost you and looking at other reviews on here, its not the first time this has happened. Dont waste your time on here, I didnt get any information I didnt already know from this consultation. Save your money and go to a real doctor who isnt trying to screw you over. And dont bother calling because they wont answer any questions, say theyll call you back, and just send another bill 2 months later. 0/5
Dr. Eagan is absolutely amazing! He is patient-focused, compassionate, and thoroughly explains each and every aspect of the procedure. I felt at ease throughout each step of the process and am extremely satisfied with the results of my breast reduction. His work is of the highest quality and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
I would highly recommend Dr. Jason Showmaker with Ascentist ENT. His entire team was professional, thorough, prompt, and respectful. As difficult as the situation was, I was completely comfortable and confident in his care. I hope no one else has thyroid cancer or other ENT needs, but if you do, please strongly consider Dr. Showmaker. He is an extremely talented surgeon who truly cares about the quality of his work, and more importantly, he cares about the patient. He answered questions thoroughly, listened to my concerns, and set realistic treatment and surgical expectations. I felt important, valued, and well cared for from start to finish. Thank you, Dr. Showmaker!
I couldnt be happier with the experiences Ive had coming here. The staff is super helpful and easy to talk to and Dr Muellman is an incredible surgeon. I barely have a scar to show off.
Let me preface: this office is GORGEOUS, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. McClurg was a pleasure to speak with. Here is where the 1 star comes in: I had a 10 minute consultation appointment and was charged over $700. SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS to not have anything fixed. The consultation was $350 (not disclosed) and I had a 30 second nose-scoping that cost $350 (not disclosed). My very good insurance only covered 13% of the charges, and the office said there was nothing they could do about that. Dont be deceived: that beautiful office is funded by your money. I had planned to go back and have a procedure done, but now I dont feel that I can trust this office. I also wrote an email to the office about this on the Patient Portal and never got a response. So two weeks later I gave them a call and they said they would love to help me with this and they would call back. No call back. I called back 10 days later and they said there was nothing they could do. Terrible customer service after they have billed you.
Dr Stanley McClurg has changed my quality of life and I cant recommend him enough. Great staff!
Staff was very helpful and Dr. Showmaker was thorough and attentive.
The best ENT ever! This location had the nicest, most understanding staff. Im a classical singer and my voice is extremely important. Today was the first time in a long time I met people that cared about my delicate situation. ♥️
My mom had thyroid surgery. This was a followup
Very clean! Awesome and friendly staff. Great place. Dr Jason Shoemaker is a very knowledgeable and polite doctor. He is a one of a kind doctor.
This place is the nicest doctors office Ive ever been in.
Office does an impeccable job of communication prior to the appointment, ensuring all information is ready to go before the appointment. Nice and clean, Coffee and water available in the waiting area. Assistant did a great job helping me understand what was going to happen during the appointment. Dr. was kind, and communicated clearly and effectively what was happening. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the expense, (I am a self pay patient with no insurance) and it seemed a bit on the high side, however they are specialists, and definitely good at what they do. I would like to see a price sheet for common procedures published and available before the appointment. I dont think the cost would have turned me away, but I would have been more prepared for it mentally. Thanks!
I had a great experience at Ascentist Hearing. I was met in a timely manner and checked in and back in a room in a matter of minutes. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I will be returning for my annual hearing test. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.
I’ve had a wonderful experience here, I can breath! And it’s because of the wonderful doctors and staff here! So glad I went.
Friendly amd professional staff. Dr. Showman is very nice and conscious. He has good people skills and can bring you comfort before you have to ask. They have a patient portal and a cool system that you can text them from your phone and get a text response to login to the portal to see reply, or can also login to the portal to ask questions. There is a surgery center at this same location. Most of the staff is down to earth and makes you feel welcome. I personally recommend Dr. Showman.
This is a great place to go to very nice staff.
I first met Dr. David Rudman (and the Ascentist Ear, Nose & Throat staff) in late December of 2019. I had a near complete blockage on the left side of my head and was blessed to get in within a day (due to a cancellation). David performed endoscopic surgery a little over 2 weeks later and removed a plasmacytoma from my left maxillary sinus; recovery was uneventful. It was later determined that the tumor was a solitary plasmacytoma, which required radiation and monitoring for a few years. Relatively speaking, this was great news. Although there are no guarantees in life, my prognosis is excellent and this is due in large part to the skill and expertise of David Rudman. He and his staff were there for the good, bad, and the ugly (although it never did get too ugly). David was very straight forward and helped me understand what we were dealing with and how it would be attacked in a planned, step-wise manner. He also helped me sift through the maze of electronic “advise” and confusing “information” as I had developed a case of acute Cyberchondria. I am blessed to have met David, he is a skilled ENT surgeon and he is someone you can trust. He and his staff were there for me when I needed them and it was a great experience. I will never be able to adequately thank David or the great people at Ascentist Ear, Nose & Throat.
Excellent doctors and nurses are working at the Surgery center.
I was very nervous but Dr.Showmaker was patient and explained the procedure, taking his time to answer all my questions. The staff was warm and friendly and the facilty was nice and clean. During this pandemic, they are taking extreme measures to prevent the virus from entering the facility which was very appreciated and reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Showmaker.
I had a septorhinoplasty with turbinate reduction done last month at Ascentist and had a fantastic experience. Ive had a lot of surgeries in my life for a variety of ENT issues and other things, and this experience was one of the absolute best Ive had. The staff are prompt, nice, professional, and made me feel at ease before a surgery I was super nervous for. Additionally, Dr. Colleen Johnson was fantastic and did an amazing job. My breathing has been dramatically changed and my quality of life has increased SO MUCH as a result. My nose was also reshaped as part of my surgery (rhinoplasty) and looks like how it should have always naturally been. Dr. Johnson was able to straighten it, narrow it, and eliminate the hook shape it used to have, and Ive gotten complimented on the change repeatedly since.
Very pleased, nice staff. Dr. Dunfield was amazing.
Wonderful staff & services!
The reception was very friendly and overall clean space, however I spent a great deal of time waiting and when I was finally seen the appointment was rushed. I left feeling like this clinic is the reason most people don’t like doctors today.
This is a very nice office!
