I originally came to Meroke Auto Repairs to get a second estimate on an expensive brake job. Fred, the owner, was ready to give me an estimate-- when he remembered that there had been a recall regarding the brakes on this car. It turns out he was right. He saved me a great deal of money-- and from that point on weve been using him for all our cars. Ive recommended him to friends -- and theyve been just as pleased. Honest, dependable, reliable workers. Cars are in great condition when theyre done. Its great to have a mechanic you can trust. Fred is also doing collision work as well. HIGHLY recommended on all counts.

I needed an inspection done on my car and I hate going to mechanics without my fiance bc I always feel like I get worked by them but this place was a very different experience.. They took my car right away! They were super friendly and I felt very well taken cared of. Then, maybe two months later, I got a nail in my tire and went there right away and they took my car immediately. Fixed my tire in under 5 minutes. Again, super friendly and superseded my expectations. Quick and caring! These guys know what they are doing and they are AWESOME!

I had an issue with my brakes, ended up replacing most of the system and still couldnt find the issue. Took it to meroke and they diagnosed and repaired for a fair price! Fred is such an honest, generous man. I always have fears of going to mechanics because most will get what they can out of you, but over at Meroke they tell you what you need, give fair prices, and you get to drive away without a huge dent in your pocket. Theyve earned a lifelong customer for sure!

I came in to town from Phoenix to celebrate the holidays with my family and noticed a screw in the front tire of my 85 year old moms car. I had limited time to get this repaired and pulled into Meroke auto. Fred immediately recognized the car belonging to my mom and got it right into the work bay for repair. I had an oil change, flat repair, and tire rotation done while I waited and was in and out in under 30 minutes. Thank you for the great service, and and may you have a prosperous 2020.

Had an issue where I completely lost my brakes - luckily, that occurred as I was getting my car from the town lot right across the street. Left my keys, and they went and got my car the next day fixed the problem and had it ready at a fair price the following day. Didn’t feel at any point that this was the usual gouge the customer experience - will definitely go back when I have my next car issue. I would recommend to anyone.

I needed an urgent inspection as I purchased my vehicle out-of-state, and NYS doesnt offer reciprocity. The mechanic here informed me to come around 8 in the morning, and voila! ten minutes later, inspection performed for $10. Gentlemen, youve earned a new customer.

Honest, reliable and professional. Took my 2011 Jeep in for service, needed an inspection, oil change, tires and my transmission looked at. They went ahead and checked with the local dealership and found out my transmission was still under warranty and directed me to the dealership......saved me a lot of money.
