This was a super cute environment! Lots of hanging plants and sweet wood accents. And if your kids are into collecting those little toys from quarter machines, bring some quarters!My burger was good, a little dry though. I got the Alpine burger. The fries were actually really yummy!Much of my family is gluten free so this was a great place for us! They had gluten free buns and fries. And even when we didnt say we needed the croutons on the side, our waitress was quite considerate and put them on the side just in case!
Highly recommended for breakfast. The waitstaff was on point, friendly, and fast! The food you order will be out within 5 minutes no matter how busy the place is. The decor is typical north woods style, clean and inviting. Lots of parking, great location. The coffee is always hot and delicious. My wife and I came here two mornings in a row while we were on a fishing trip in the area. Oh and while all the restaurants around here in a 30 mile radius are CLOSED on Wednesday’s, this place is OPEN!!!! Stop here and you won’t be disappointed.
A lot of delicious choices on the menu. Stir fry, Italian, hamburgers. We had hot roast beef & turkey sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy. Potatoes were homemade. French fries were homemade. So yummy 😋 Well be back.
We stopped and had breakfast as we were staying at this dreadful campground Hi-Pines and saw it on the way. So worth it. Absolutely outstanding service and terrific food at good prices.Wonderful Nortwoods decor made it all the more fun to eat here. We will definitely be returning!

Food is really good. Had a great waitress which is always nice! Food was a bit cold they need to microwave it more before they serve it to us. All in all Id still go back.
The service was great, but they need to work on how they cook their breakfast sausage links. They were undercooked twice! Other than that I love the place.
Stopped in for a lunch with coworkers while in the area. BLT was great! Service and food was exactly as expected for the type of diner this is. I would say this is a great little stop in Eagle River as not much else is open lunchtime Mon-Fri that isnt a bar. Spot seems to be popular with locals too.
Have eaten here several times while on vacation here over the years. Food and service has always been great! Would recommend this restaurant for anybody who’s looking for a nice family setting.

The waitress tried. The look on her face as I saw the side of FRESH FRUIT. THE FLIES THAT HOVERED THE SECTION OF THE RESTAURANT!!!!I feel bad for the wait staff. The liver and onions the Northwoods is known for was dry and I can say my waitress did the best she could with what was to offer. So kudos to her for the service..... But if youre looking for breakfast .... Well, well see.....! If were in the area. Id rather a smaller spot that cares a bit more.
Busy restaurant, but ran efficiently. Burger and French toast were scrumptious. I wouldn’t recommend the pancakes though. Friendly staff.
This place would be great if they were a retirement home kitchen. They got my order wrong (asked for pan fried walleye, they gave me the broiled—whatever), it was so overcooked hard I had to cut it with a knife, and it had 3 pin bones. Absolutely flavorless—no seasoning. The tartar sauce was basically a yellow mayonnaise, and the veggie side was a canned mix of brown peas and beans w carrots—too much to ask for frozen veggies? At least they have some flavor.
Had everything that my family and two extra kids could want. Food was slow to come out, but at the end of summer, with COVID still an issue, I get finding help may be hard. Still food was delicious, everyone had a good meal.

Went for lunch yesterday and the food and service was so good we decided to go back and have birthday breakfast there again today! Our server Kyle was super friendly and speedy. Definitely 10/10 for us. The food is amazing.

This place is one of the best diners you can go to. Easily some of the best burgers you can get, and the food is consistent. The menu has a lot to choose from, and the food always gets to you fast, even through cramped, busy conditions. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Very friendly wait staff. Good menu options. I came here twice and didn’t have to wait to be seated. The only drawback I encountered was parents who didn’t manage their kids properly. On my first visit, a three year old had a nuclear meltdown at the table next to me. Parents let it go on waaaaay too long. The restaurant really doesn’t have any control over this, but just keep in mind what you may encounter.
This place was super busy but the 8 of us were seated right away and after ordering had our food within 10 to 15 minutes. Good and service were great.
Everything I ate was delicious. Would have given them 5 stars but we decided to dine in one time after only doing takeout, and was very disappointed that no one was wearing a mask.

Service and staff were great, food was not what I expected. I had the died plate, ordered the beef medium, it was well done and dried out. My wife ordered a fish dish, I think it was Walleye, it was a very small dried out piece of tail, she left 80% of it, couldnt eat it.

Quite an experience… the omelet we ordered had a large portion of an eggshell in it, and we found mystery greens in our breakfast dishes. There also was an unknown chunk in one of the waters.The staff was friendly, but due to the business the wait was long.
Food was real good. The staff was nice. Just took them some time to send over a waiter after we got seated. Would have been nice if the hostess explained why we were still waiting rather than staring back at us and chatting to another employee.

We love this place! Great waitstaff, good old American fare. We were grateful for some normalcy during this time and were so thankful to be able to see the staffs smiling faces!! A great menu with lots and lots of options. We will eat here every time were in this neck of the woods!

Service was very good but the food was so bad. My friend couldnt eat his meal at all and I couldnt eat all of mine. Didnt even taste like it was supposed to be. There was no flavor to anything like eating cardboard.
