Nice local hardware store.New owners, pretty much same items. Seems to be well stocked.Prices are a little higher than usual but you are paying for convienence of having it local.Nice selection on tools and plumbing supplies.

They are very helpful if theyll answer it on my questions and help me out with what I needed

Excellent customer service! I bought a replacement saw blade thinking I would figure out how to put it on myself. Good thing I didnt try. I asked them to install it. I was so glad I did. It needed some fitting since it was an older saw with a newer replacement blade and needed custom adjustments. I needed help and I got it with a smile. Thanks so much Ace.

Im sorry I dont recall her name but, the gal who helped us purchase a pressure washer was so helpful. She really made me feel like she takes pride in her work/workplace. She also was very knowledgeable with the questions we had. I admire her.

Nice visit!! I went to Merrill Ace Hardware for a screen for my outside screen door. Like always... The staff are very friendly and offered their assistance to help me find what I needed. Great service & I got my screen.

They didnt have one of the things I needed but no biggie they have so much more and got good feedback about how I could get that part. Staff is very knowledgeable in their products!!

This is an excellent Ace Hardware store. I have probably been to dozens of hardware stores in my life. This store has an inventory that is probably comparable to the average store. This store has friendly employees which is comparable to the average store. What sets this store apart is the intensity with which these employees listen to what you have to say, walk you to the hardware you need, and talk you through how the hardware fits into your project. Wonderful service.

With so many virus cases in Lincoln County lately, it would be nice to see all your clerks in masks.

Where the locals shop. Their stock is very intuitive of what Merrill needs in a hardware store. All the employees know what theyre talking about and are helpful. That knowledge and experience is worth the little bit extra at the cash register.

Always like going here when in need of justva few rhings and dont want to drive to a bigger box store. They really do have a hometown feel here too.

Why go here? The people are the best. Bending over backwards to get you the exact thing you need. Be it a tool or that 1 odd little bolt. You are treated like a king no matter what you are looking for. Sure, they are a smaller store than a Merands and a bit pricier, but buying local, a knowledgeable staff, awesome service and being able to get that one item you need and get back to your project without spending half a day driving to Wausau, fighting the crowds, trying to find someone who works there to answer a question or help find something, well you get my point. A great business and asset to Merrill.

Usually smart amd friendly customer service, however my last visit led to being charged over twice the amount as the posted price of a product, and when i brought it up, the cashier got into an arguement and insisted they couldnt sell it for the posted price, which is horrible customer service. A store MUST sell you a product for the posted price, even if it was their mistake.
