Manager, Sandy, does not care about repeat business nor customer satisfaction and thats a fact. Laura tried to help me rectify the situation but Sandy was content with not working with us on $300+ purchase. And for years we traveled over an hour each season to shop this store. Bad taste in my mouth. Plus they are way WAY overpriced on furniture, rugs, decor, outdoor/indoor which is the entire store. No bargains as far as I can tell. I signed up for their emails a long time ago, which never offers coupons or discounts

Only 3 cashiers on a Saturday with at least 15 people in each line and people wonder why we shop online. They lost about $280 in a sale.

This is the best old time pottery. This location has by far the best selection of the old time pottery locations in the Illinois Indiana locations. They have great deals. You never know what you will find here. But you know it is gonna be a great deal. I highly recommend stopping here.

Its a warehouse full of stuff. Lot of those fake trees and garlands. Christmas time it is like loaded with plastic figures that light up and talk, about 4,000 different types of ornaments that from furry with felt to furry with glass to furry with fur. There are rugs and sheets for people who cant get enough rugs and sheets, and a bunch of dog and cat stuff that was so much cheaper before they found out that people by dog and cat stuff. The is about as friendly as a staff that changes weekly can be. All in all, you can find a deal here, as long as your more into quantity than quality.

Havent been in a while enjoyed my time.

Went to OTP for the first time in a while and left extremely disappointed. The prices have skyrocketed. They even put the new price stickers just over the old ones so you can see how much the prices went up. You could go in and buy a cartful of stuff for less than $50. Not anymore! Their pet beds, a glorified pillow, are $30. Yeesh. Grabbed a couple items and waited in line. Was waiting for several minutes and the line moved so slow and the line was just getting longer before someone else was even called up. Id have easily been waiting 15-20 minutes to check out, even with a 2nd person. I put my items down and walked out. I used to love this store but I wont be back unless I have a very specific purpose. Very disappointed.

I will give 3 stars just because when I went in today to purchase a very nice rug, I asked a question, and the cashier was not too please on answering my question the first in the morning . She was young, but that is no excuse for that behavior. I also noticed the staff are never around when you have questions, but again that will not stop me from coming back as I always do, but I will not tolerate ignorance. I love their items and the prices are reasonable. So please go, the store has lot to offer.

Old Time Pottery is MUCH more than just pottery its a store for creatives and artists! This store is full of holiday festive knick knacks, furniture for all rooms and seasons as well tons of outdoor products. Great supply of low priced candles and cookware seriously! YES Cookware!! All kinds of dinnerware as well. Pillows and throw rugs/carpets galore!! A great As seen on TV isle. This store is always fun to discover new things at incredibly low prices. Again I really feel Old Time Pottery is very progressive with so many different out of the ordinary and original products, this is a must stop store for any creative artists!!

I have gone back to edit this review because for some reason my name did not appear as everyones did, maybe because of my low rating, but to anyone reading this, i am PRISCILLA MASTERS...HOPING YOU READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND RESPOND IF ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO YOU...If there were no stars or negative stars that is the rating I would give. My first time in this store and had been told that it was a great place so that was what I expected. Indeed it was large and had lots of stuff. When my friend and I first walked in we heard the announcement that all Christmas decorations were 50% off, all fall and patio decorations were 90% off, and red stickers were 50% off and and yellow stickers were 75% off. Being the bargain hunters that we are throughout the store we went to all departments, but honed in on yellow and red and Christmas and outdoor sale items. After spending quite a while there we went to the register with our purchased. I had a yellow sticker and got the 75% off, then had 4 sets of patio lights--CLEARLY MARKED PATIO LIGHTS-- and was told that the outdoor patio lights that were in the patio, outdoor section with a HUGE 90% off sign were not 90% off. Of course I told them that the announcement stated 90% off and they were in the section with the huge 90% off sign, but they had to check. I had picked up the last 4 sets so they couldnt check, but they rang up regular price and was told that was what I had to pay, of course, I pitched a fit and the manager came over and told the cashier to take off the 90%. I paid for my items and started to leave while my friend was checking out, she had a metal Christmas tree with bells hanging from it which she got from the Christmas section clearly marked 50% off and it rang up regular price, she said to just forget it since she did not want to pay full price. I almost was out of the store when I heard this going on, so asked why when it was a Christmas ornament in the Christmas section marked 50% off it was full price. The cashier said that it was a wind chime and that their wind chimes are never 50% off. So, I of course proceeded to disagree, the manager again came over and told her to give my friend 25% off, but my friend told them to just forget it. At that point I just left the store, when my friend got back in the car, she said that she didnt want to make a scene, but she waited until we got down the road before she told me that one of the items that was yellow tagged(supposedly 75% off), rang up as full price, so she told them to forget it, and another of the items that had a yellow tag on it also rang up as full price, and that the CHRISTMAS lights she was going to buy rang up as full price, because LED Christmas lights were not on sale!!!! So she didnt buy them either!! I was ready to turn around and give them another piece of my mind when she asked please not to, she didnt want to Make A Scene!!! I respected her wishes, but have NEVER had that experience in a store before. We felt as thought we were treated as cheaters or thieves, trying to put red or yellow tags on items, or insisting on the announced discounts when those were excluded items!! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!! I JUST WONDER HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE AND JUST DIDNT NOTICE THE PRICE UNTIL THEY GOT HOME OR JUST SAID OH FORGET IT. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON OLD TIME POTTERY!!! FOR THEIR MISLEADING SALES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS!!! IT WOULD BE NICE TO HEAR FROM OTHERS I AM VERY SURE THAT WE WERE NOT THE ONLY ONES THIS HAS HAPPENED TO.
