They have two locations within a mile and a discount replay between. So if your looking for something here and its not, you have two other options. People were nice inventory kinda low in my opinion.

Really disappointed. My son (13) went in with a ton of money... but came out with nothing. Why? He said they seemed annoyed by him. He had a bunch of nerd gam questions and said they ignored them and when he tried to talk to them, they were annoyed. Im sad to hear that. You dropped the ball gamestop.

Walked in with info from another Gamestop saying that they had pre-orders that have been there for years, the other gamestop told me I could go over there and get my money. So I went over there and they didnt have an organized line system, store was over capacity and then when I got up to the register to ask about it, the man literally just deflected saying that they arent there, the other store system is messed up and tried to point out something else, which I just canceled. I tried to correct him (I had a receipt with the literal address of that gamestop with the pre-orders and the price) and he kept deflecting, blaming the other gamestop and then told me to call customer service. I stormed out furiously. This gamestop should have closed instead of the one in Southlake. Save your time and do not go to this one. Theres a far more superior gamestop with better staff just down the same plaza. Not worth your time and hassle.

Not much variety. Very basic and they didnt have what my hubby was looking for for his PS4.

They canceled my order with no explanation. They definitely did send my money back as fast as they canceled it. Thats the last theyll ever get my money. But theyre gonna be closing all of them soon anyway.

Bought a new copy of civ 6. The clerk sold me a literally chewed case that was open and obviously used. The disc had scratches on it to. I ended up throwing it out...who knows who put their mouth on this. You stole 40.00 from me.

As an avid gamer and a passionate one at that, this location is by far the best location of the three within Merrillville/Hobart. Honestly, this store is the best location in Northwest Indiana. The staff are extremely friendly, and as a regular, in spared from the corporate mandated speeches they have to give to almost every customer. As small as store as it is, I almost never walk out of this location without my intended purchase. I also frequent midnight releases and every midnight release is extremely smooth and well orchestrated. I never have to worry about being in well behind the front of the line for a midnight release because they always get us in and out as efficiently as possible. Every worker has their own specialty in regards to what they sell, Sherry specifically, although newer, has a vast amount of knowledge on collectibles and the overall workings of the store. If you want quality, look no further!

Great selection of pops

I drive farther then my local store to this GameStop because the employees are the best. They take the time to answer my questions about my sons games. Theyre great about telling me about upcoming games and merchanfise so I can plan ahead for things my son will want. Went to a release of a popular game tonight and everything was well organized and the line went through fast. Awesome store!!

Sold a system there not too long ago and it needed an update. Kelsey warned us that their connection was slow but did the update for us. My husband and I with our two small kids were there and the kids were getting restless but Kelsey was amazing with them and interacting with them flawlessly. Kelsey is by far the best gamestop employee I have ever come across. Due to her helpfulness and information she gave about their store and its prestige status I plan to make that gamestop my go to. Hoping I get her every time.

This location isnt my favorite GameStop, but its due to something out of their control: size. For a small location, they have a large selection of product packed in there, but at the same time, it doesnt feel cluttered or jammed in. The employees are always friendly and helpful. They keep up to speed with upcoming releases and are typically able to answer questions about the new games coming out. If they dont have a a product, they are always happy to look for other stores that have it in stock.

I promise I will never do business with gamestop again. Bought my younger brother the Days of Play edition because he thought it was a PS4 Pro edition. Tried to exchange it for the Pro a couple days later and they said nothing could be done. Should have stuck to Costco. Exactly why they are going down 👎
