Ordered a Milwaukee cordless grinder online the one in the ad and the one I got were two different tools. I made two trips to the Merriville IN store before I was able to return it.Ladies at the store were helpful but the return was difficult. I would like to buy the right tool at the advertise price but don’t want to go through the hassle again.

This is a piece of junk. Will NOT chip 4 log NOT even 3, had to push as hard as I could for a 2 1/2 stick. Now the ignition switch will NOT shut the engine off. $800 mistake. I was hoping for better quality from Northern Tool. Engine has plenty of power something wrong with the design of the chipper, it polishes the end of the larger sticks.Since I posted the above I was able to make it work by placing a .020 X1/4x4 behind the knifes above the screws, which brought the cutting edge out. Just like a drill bits cutting edge has to be higher than the trailing edge. I also removed the screen that has 1 holes so it wont plug up. Works great now.

IF I CAN GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. This company needs to be shut down for their scams.Horrible customer service and a headache to deal with. I wanted to simply return an item and they have been giving me a hassle for the past 2 weeks to fight for a return label. THEY MAKE YOU PAY OUT OF POCKET TO RETURN AN ITEM. Never buying from them again.

Good variety. Prices arent bad. Employees seem to go out of their way to avoid customer interaction. One guy was zooming around as fast as he could, no way to ask him for help. Too many not wearing masks. Plenty of workers made eye contact with me then quickly turned down a different aisle. No hellos even when squeezing past them. No one asking me if I needed help. Maybe the morning employees are more helpful?

Definitely happy they opened a Merrillville Indiana location. This company caries many products for industrial/home use that you cant find at Menards or Home depot. Will be a returning customer from now on. And also they give a great discount for new card members and membership points for all your purchases!

Drove 45 minutes to the Merrillville store. I bought a 20 volt DeWalt tool combo pack. I got home to discover tools missing & the carry bag handle ripped off the bag. Poor customer service as well !! I will not be a customer again. I wish I could give zero stars

NEVER order anything from this store! I ordered ONE reflective safety vest 3 weeks ago and as of today its STILL IN TRANSIT! I only give it 1 star because I cant give it -10

Wish I could give negative star review! Ordered 2 items totaling over $600 on 1/2/21. Told would be in 10-14 business days. We would get an email when they were ready to be picked up. Husband went in two weeks later and still weren’t in. Called on 2/4/21 to find out what was going on and was told order was cancelled on 1/15/21 by the company that they ordered it from, most likely because they are out of stock. No email, no phone call- nothing! Only found out because I had to call! And to get refund husband has to drive back out there! Can’t refund over phone even when it’s their company who cancelled the items! Really wanted to give a new business a try- but this is what you get- horrible service. Asked to speak to manager- person on phone was manager- no apology, nothing! They may seem like a bargain- but clearly you get what you pay for.... bad service!Update:1800 number informed me we had been refunded on 1/18/21.... my bank account has no transaction of a refund. Talked to a gentleman who eventually hung up on me! Called back and talked to a lady- I asked her for the refund transaction #, she stated there was none. She contacted their accounts payable dept and was informed that they tried to refund it on the 18th but that there was an error processing the refund. They were going to try and refund it again. I was told I would receive a call tomorrow on whether it goes through or not. I asked what happens if it doesn’t- because clearly they had no issues taking the money from the card when he purchased the items- and she said “we will cross that bridge when we come to it!” I told her if I didn’t here from her or someone tomorrow to let me know if the status of the refund I would be going into my bank Saturday and reporting the transaction as fraud and letting the BBB know!Horrible customer service!!

Absolutely awful service. I normally use Google to leave positive reviews but this company as a whole is terrible. Dont order from them. They put the wrong name on my order and accused me of putting someone elses name on my own online order. Called me to come pick up my product in which only 1 of 3 boxes had arrived. Garbage company. Garbage products.

First time there. Employees were very pleasant and they worked to get me what I wanted with all the discounts. Will definitely go again.

Very nice and clean store!!! However I made a special order and the Assistant Manager had to come to the register because my shipping charge wasnt ringing up. First he comes to the register with a horrible attitude. Then he manually puts in a shipping charge. The way he added my shipping made it to where I was taxed on the shipping charge. His attitude was very unprofessional and totally not needed. With an attitude like that, I would rather shop at Harbor Freight or Tractor Supply.

Good prices, but not a huge variety.

Went to bye in stock item. Store 0pened late. No sales staff. Finally got cashiers attention as they had none on floor.Told they had 36 in warehouse, but 7 to 14 days.It should be noted that they open at 8 am.Two hours after Menards and home depot.There was a line waiting also.Was glad to see then in area. But disappointed in hours, service and inventory.Whish them luck in future. This was my second trip and both times they did not have items.Lesson learned call first and have physical check on item.
