Worst customer support ever. Bought a new hot water heater es40r92-45d. An Error code E02 came up. Looked it up everywhere determined it needed a new thermostat. I installed a new one. Still having issues. I dont need a technician to come out and swap parts when i can do this my damn self. They are just trying to milk me for more money.
My brand new washer never worked. After some time on the phone following instructions from a service service rep he determined a technician need to come and scheduled an appointmen for a few days later. 2 days before the scheduled appointment I reveiced a call from Customer care informing me that there was a factory alert for the particular model I had and that a new control board would be shipped directly to me. I was instructed to contact customer care and informthem when the part arrive. To make sure I would not have to wait in line for an available technician the llady on the phone scheduled the appointment for today between 2:30-5:30. The part arrived today at 2:40. When I called them I was told the earliest they could send someone would be December 3rd. After a month of waiting for Whirlpool I have contacted an independent company to come and install the new board, which will likely void the warranty. If you need an applicance I suggest you look at other brands. Perhaps their customer service will nnot be as indifferent or arrogant and Whirlpools. Best Buy, where I purchased the applicance, was of no help, either. They blame Whirlpool. Whirpool blames the 3rd aprty the contract with to ship the parts. I will never agian buy anything from either company.
