I made an online payment, when the website brought me back to the homepage it said the payment hadn’t gone through so I made another one. Almost right away it took both payments out of my account, I called and the customer service rep was very nice. He told me I should receive a refund in 10 business days back on to my debit card, cool. So I call 10 days later, since I hadn’t received anything. Again, customer service rep very nice. She told me 3-5 more days and I’ll receive a refund in my debit card. Well, I called this morning because I still hadn’t received anything. The rep was nice and told me a paper check had been issued and that I wouldn’t receive anything until the end of this month. Had no other answer for me except that, I was getting a paper check and it would be 2 more weeks before I would get it. He couldn’t tell me where the check was coming from, and since I live 1/4 mile down the road from Petro I could have gone to pick up the check but no. Very unpleasant experience. I will be looking for a new company.

0 STARS, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! USE ANYONE BUT THIS COMPANY! Lisa, the propane delivery manager is the RUDEST PERSON youll ever meet in life. She doesnt care about how she speaks to the customers. Not just this time, but 3 times in the past 3 years shes always had an attitude EVERYTIME she take a call. They find every single thing extra to charge you for. She goes right for the kill when it comes to ripping people off. Im actually the easiest customer you could ever have. I always pay my bill on time, no high maintenance. But when you make a simple request, you hear the cash register start ringing up in the back ground. Ive requested a call from Lisas manager, JOYCE GRATTON but she has not contacted me yet. I will NOT recommend PETRO HOME SERVICES and depending on what Joyce tells me, more will be added to this review. Best advice for Petro Home Service, FIRE Lisa, the propane manager today. She is costing you customers left and right. Thats why you have a 2 star, soon to be 1 star Overall Rating on Google. Im heading over to Yelp right after finishing this review to leave another one. I want Everyone to know how LISA treats loyal customers. Im done, time to move on. Petro Home Services will be out of business at this rate within a couple of years.

Historically, Petro was not on my list of companies I wanted to do business with. I was baited with a new customer incentive and fell for it, turned out their service as part of the package, and problem resolution fell way short of expectation.However- when desperate times call for desperate measures you bite the bullet.I found my tank had a slow leak. I called Petro and although I had cancelled my account, they were able to open up a service only account and come out to service the leak in just a few hours time. I called at 830 am and had a tech on site by 10:15 and Walter (tech 242) even called to inform me he was on his way. Upon showing up he had a mask on and followed SD protocol. He was able to fix the problem in the short term and clean up the affected area. He also explained the process around removing and replacing the tank. Upon completion he explained how he left things, asked me if I had any questions and left the area clean of debris when he left.Moral of the story- if Walter was the guy I got the first time, I highly doubt I would have such a negative association to Petro.So, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Walter.Jury is still out for Petro as a whole-but they did do right by me this morning.

The Petro employees who came to my house three times in 6 days were pleasant. Unfortunately it took the third visit to actually fix the problem. I challenged the bill and it took over a month to get a call back from the Field Manager. Disappointed and will be cancelling our service immediately.

Today I had a horrible experience with Petro Home Services. I was told the delivery guy would be here between 10-5pm. I called the local office twice to confirm they would be here today. I was on the schedule and a ticket order was printed. I stayed home all day because I have to give my pets access to the yard and I didnt want anything to happen to the person delivering the propane. I stayed home all day and the guy never showed. When I called to complain (ask what was going on), the lady on the phone acted like it was my fault that they had a mix up in the system. She offered a $50 credit in which I accepted but then told me since it was a small decorative fireplace that it was not important enough for them to come back out. To the rep: its not about the small fireplace, its my time I waited (wasted) for you and now I have to wait all day next Tuesday for you guys to come back out (hoping that you will show up). Heres my advice, you guys are better than this. Theres too much competition for you to drop the ball like this and then blame me for your error. Regardless if its a small fireplace or my main source of heat (which I buy both from you), Im a customer thats loyal and I always pay my bill immediately. If my payment was a NO-SHOW (like the delivery guy), I bet youd be calling me like I called you today asking whats going on. If you want to continue to earn my business, please respect my time as well. Get this right on the next visit and Ill change this 1 star to a 5 star. I still believe in your company. To the rep: I did not mean to give you a hard time on the phone. I knew you did not have the solution because it was to late. I appreciate the $50 credit but my time is much more valuable. Now I lose 2 entire days of waiting for the delivery. I just ask that you see my point of view. Other than that, I think you handled the situation about as best as you could. Thank you for your time.

The customer service at Petro has been great! They are very timely in filling my oil tank and the pricing is pretty competitive. I was using another company (starts with a T) and they took advantage of charging a much higher rate on the refills so I really appreciate how Petro doestheir pricing. I also like how they provide propane services as I have a propane tank too. 👍

Petro home services is very easy to work with signed up as a new customer they were friendly and accommodating. I wanted a company they delivered oil as well as serviced my equipment they were very accommodating. They arranged a tech to come out and tune up my furnace Walter Haley tech 242 came out he was very knowledgable and complete. He answered all my questions about the system I have gave me an overall on my furnace did tell me it is older but still seems to running fine for now he was also able to give me some names of systems and pros and cons of each type of system. This was all as he was tuning up my furnace. He also pointed out things why as a home owner not to let the system go so long between tuneups as the previous home owner has done.

Id give them a 0 if possible. They left my family in the cold when we had auto delivery... theyre customer service is so bad they changed theyre name (they used to be atlas Glen mor) because they had so many bad reviews. Dont be fooled these people are crooks by any name.

This company is the WORST to deal with. Their website doesnt work 99% of the time and if you are on a budget plan they will not calculate it correctly. We ended up owing an extreme amount at the end of the year. They are sneaky with their prices and customer service is terrible. Consumer beware.

Horrible customer service! Will tell you one day for delivery then when they don’t deliver oops just tell you today was the delivery day.Lie after lie. BTW they don’t record their calls because if they did they’d know which lie to stick to.

👎Signed up as a new customer. Decided to cancel after repeat calls for deliveries that I did not need. Day after I canceled they came and filled my tank! I have been trying to call them to rectify the situation but keep getting told the person I need to speak to is unavailable.

Expensive. I bought my Monitor heater from them (K-1). Now because I dont get my K-1 from them ($0.50 more per gallon than Rhymes) they will NOT service what they sell. How do they stay in business???
