9/16 : I went there to get a bacon egg and cheese. Very nice ppl been here once before and got the same thing. Unfortunately when I left and opened my sandwich it was ice cold. I didn’t want to go back and say anything due to my social anxiety but I did. When I returned it and the worker apologized the manager or owner came over and said “ looks good to me” the worker said “nah I didn’t bake it long enough” then the manager/owner got quiet. That’s why this gets 2 stars it’s like j didn’t even want to be in this uncomfortable situation sirThe remake was great tho!

Quick service, good bagels, was very warm and uncomfortable to eat inside, take out is my suggestion.

Just couldn’t believe that none of the staff wears masks here. Customers up walking around with no masks on. No signs on doors requiring masks for public spaces. This isn’t the time to take a stance on opinions. Your opinion is that you don’t care for your fellow man during a global situation where we could do better for one another.Walked in with a mask on. Took less than ten seconds to realize management doesn’t care. Promptly left.

I come to this Bagel World about 3-4 times a month. I used to get an egg bagel with sausage and on either an onion or tomatoes bagel and half lb of mac salad. That used to be really good, but Ive noticed lately that getting one bagel with one egg is pretty skimpy lately and now have to get 2 eggs and still the sausage is tiny. They are using sausage patties from Aldi and skimming their sandwiches now. Nobody wears masks and its always smokey in the building. Im going to start going to banana River drive Bagel World from now on.

Im always on the run. I called ahead and they had my food ready for pick-up. Very tasty. Nice people.

Dry bagel tasted a lot like a bread loaf. I’d suggest toasting what ever you get

Loved this location and the Satellite Beach one as well but no masks on employees is no bueno. These are really the only restaurants in Brevard where I’ve seen the employees intentionally not protecting their customers and each other. Come on, guys, you are too good not to do this simple little thing!

These guys are consistently amazing. We treat our staff at Blind Of All Kinds to Bagel World often and their breakfast sandwiches and Natalies orange juice hit the spot every time. Thank you for great service!

If youre craving excellent customer service, a quick lunch and variety of bagels. THIS is the spot to go too! I cant explain the way they make a simple bacon, egg and cheese on everything bagel. But all other establishments should take notes. Al, is doing a great job behind the counter. Keep it up yall! PS: They only accept cash, but do have an ATM machine there! I support local, small businesses. I respect their rules and abide by them. I see no issue with cash only rule. Just do better and bring cash or use the ATM. Simple.

Great little shop! Fresh bagels made on site daily. Quick service. Locally owned for many years. They serve breakfast and lunch items. Very reasonable prices. Try them you will enjoy the food.

First time here customer service was great I would rate the place 8/10 only because they don’t take cards so please bring your cash great place for breakfast or lunch I sure will be back

It really pains me to write a review like this, since I loved Bagel World since high school, but Im in the area for the holidays and I go into the store to order a sandwich but I had to immediately leave when I saw that none of the employees and cooks were wearing masks. I did not want to put myself or my loved ones at risk but I hope this location will make some adjustments in the near future as this pandemic is far from over.

I go in there twice a week, and all the guys are great.

Bagel world is awesome! They have great bagels made fresh everyday, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch. Great service and great prices. They also use quality Boars Head meats and cheeses.

Best place in all of Merritt Island. My girlfriends and I eat here every weekend that we’re all home from college; it’s the greatest. Food is amazing, the people are nice, the prices are perfect.100/10

Best bagels in the USA! Love this hole in the wall- seriously can’t find better bagels anywhere and their special cream cheese flavors are so good! My personal favorite is the honey vanilla- really nice guys running the place.

Bagel World does not make a bad bagel. Which as someone who grew up on New York bagels, Im glad that I can even find them here. However, the Bagel world experience is not a good one. You walk in and it smells like burnt bread. Not in a good way, in a really gross way, that had me wondering whether or not these bagels were actually going to be any good.I get to the register, order my bagel and am about to pay, when I offer them my debit card they say, its cash only, but theres a gas station a block away that has an ATM. Again, Im very committed to seeing whether or not these bagels are good, because I need good bagels in my life so I walk over to the gas station, get cash from the ATM and walk back. This time I look for a sign that says cash only anywhere in or around the establishment. Theres not a single sign to be found. Not on any of the doors, not at the register, no where. So theyre practically setting new customers up for embarrassment, which is certainly not a pleasant experience.I finally get my bagel. I ordered an egg sandwich: one egg, with bacon and scallion cream cheese. When I open the sandwich up, I notice immediately that theres not really much in it, especially for a five dollar bagel sandwich. I take a bite and it really reinforces the dearth of filling. Theres not enough cream cheese to impart flavor. The egg is barely noticeable. The bacon wasnt bad, but there wasnt much of it. It made for a very dry sandwich which was not a pleasant experience. The bagel itself though was decent. Thats the only reason Im giving this two stars, because every other element of my experience there was unpleasant at the very least.I may go back to pick up bagels if I cant find anything else decent, but Ill never order a sandwich there again.

CASH ONLY!!!! That is a bad omen.The plywood on the window says it all.Owner cant afford to replace the glass and when a place is CASH Only! The RED FLAG tells me they are Pocketing the CASH and Not paying taxes. Sad. I bet the business numbers show a major Loss this year. Limited amount of bagels, do not want to sell the ones they have, and the quality is mediocre at best. Up front; I love bagels. I was weaned on them. Im here in Merritt Island Florida half the year. Someone suggested I try Bagel World. unfortunately, their bagels are mediocre at best. But in this area, they are pretty much the only show in town, and I like to support local business. I started going in there weekly about a month ago. They hardly ever have any bagels. They open at 7am and they have very few bagels in variety and or quantity. Therefore. knowing this, I called up this morning at 7am to see if they had the varieties I like. They did, so I told the man I spoke with to put away a half dozen of each. He told me policy did not allow him to put them away, that I had to buy them in person. So I told him I would be right down. After travelling over 10 miles to get there, the same man told me I could only have two of each, even though there was enough to give me my half dozen. Here it is a retail store, and as a customer I could not purchase what I wanted. Why didnt he at least tell me that, before I drove all the way down there. For a place called Bagel World, do they sell bagels or not?? A stupid policy and a bad management decision. I was so frustrated, that I wrote this review, This is the first review I have ever written, and I am 71 years old. This place is pathetic !!

Ok- service was fast for 2 egg bagel sandwiches. Egg and ham were very thin (one slice of ham- one fried egg) and the bagel was not buttered or toasted so it was pretty dry. The one on North Banana is much better.

Nice staff. Cash only. We went here for lunch and I would rate the food 5/10. It was a bit smokey during our visit but that may have bed a toaster issue.

This place is utterly awesome, it is a little hole in the wall but the food is really good. The people there have always been super nice to me, this is my favorite bagel place in the area. One of the hidden gems of Merritt Island. Their home-made cream cheese is to die for. :D

I have been a fan since they opened. Great local place for bagels and also a really good deli.

This place is one of the dirtiest places i have been.the walls and ceiling a covered in a layer of grease. The smoke was so thick in their, just felt sick trying to breathe. I feel like i need to take a shower as soon as i leave. The bagel itself was good, but they were very skimpy on the cream cheese. Will not come back here Again.

In high school, this place was the reason most students were late to first period hahaha Merritt Island staple thats been here forever! I keep cash on hand specifically for this place bc its CASH ONLY, so be prepared. The eggel bagels are out of this world! Get there early for the best selection bc whats made before the store opens is what they have! I get an eggel bagel & chicken salad on a pumpernickel bagel at least once a month!

Asked for well toasted, extra cream cheese which I was charged for. I get this doughy, bare mess. How in 2020 do you not accept debit cards?

First time here. Pretty decent little bagel shop. No time today to inquire about their facilities or if their bagels are made fresh on site, that will follow in a future post. For now, I can only comment on the roast beef sandwich on a toasted garlic bagel I had for lunch. The roast beef was fresh and good, BoarsHead brand as advertised. The bagel was tasty too. Be advised to bring cash as they do not accept credit/debit. I had to find an ATM to pull cash to pay. Also, they do have WiFi Internet available with password but after about 30 seconds my phone lost the signal and it no longer was broadcasting its SSID. Couldve been my phone I guess.

At least at Rooneys, the food looked good enough to try.When you enter this bagel shop, the first thing that hits you is a horrid stench that slaps you in the face. A kid came over to help and I asked what the fetid stench was. He replied that it was peanut oil, which I was not aware has the scent of raw sewage, but apparently to this disinterested punk it does - or at least thats what he was told and hes sticking to the story.For my meal, I ordered a tuna melt with a side of macaroni salad. The macaroni salad smelled like the mayo had gone bad so I did not try it. I opened the bread to look at the tuna and you can clearly see in the photo the tuna is spoiled and boy, did it smell like it. I couldnt even eat any of the meal I ordered due to its rottenness.I actually tried contacting the owner but apparently he is as involved in social media as he is in this restaurant. I even tried locating his home to no avail. I am not sure how the health department has not shut them down by now. This is easily the worst food establishment I have ever been in my whole life, much less my reviewing career.The verdict is clear: Big Boy says stay away. Far, far, far, far, away!!!
